There are sooo many details in this MV that mostly only armys will be able to notice/understand and here are a few that really stands out. I hope it helps you guys understand why it is such an emotional one for the fandom.
- There are many other BTS MVs where they used a small girl to represent the fandom so the girl here represents the fandom, ARMY.
- She's wearing a purple helmet in a later shot(purple is the official colour of the fandom) It was black first because purple was never a special colour to the fandom until after a few years of their debut when Taehyung gave it a meaning. So it kind of signifies and captures a small detail of the timeline of BTS and ARMY, in a sense.
- They chose a girl who is around 9-10 years old because it's the same as ARMYS age; the fandom was formed around 10 years back.
-If you look closely there is a braille tattoo on his neck and it reads "ARMY" 🥺
- The suit Jin wears at the beginning of the MV resembles the one he wore to the first day of school in real life (there is a photo of 4-year-old him wearing a suit that looks exactly like that) The kid's drawing on the wall shows him wearing the same suit once again. It's basically to show his past and innocence, reminiscence of his lyrics from "Yet to come": "Somewhere deep inside your heart, there still lives a young boy"
- Chris Martin makes a cameo in the MV as the news reporter reading the news
- The blackened-out spaces on the crossword (in braille) reads "For ARMY"
- The guitar you see in his room is the same guitar Chris Martin signed and gifted Jin when they met.
- If you notice when he was on the street people ignored him but the "astronaut" caught his attention. Jin was cast on the streets randomly by a Bighit staff who saw him get off the bus. He never intended to be a kpop-idol and never auditioned. So the astronaut here could represent the company itself who found him literally on the street one day.
- The shot of his room has elements that represent all BTS members - Books = Namjoon, Guitar = Yoongi, Instant camera = Jhope, Flowerpot (like his "serendipity" bubble) = Jimin, Vinyl player/Boston bag= Taehyung, Speaker/Radio = Jungkook) They're all there, close to him.
- The pickup truck has a lot of meaning because it has appeared in many of their past MV that's connected to the BU ( Love Yourself Highlight reels, the HYYH era) In those MVs, it was Jin who used to drive the boys around in a black pick up truck ; it symbolises the time they cherished together and their memories. In this case, it was a pick up truck (reminiscence of the ones in their MV) that finally stopped and took him "home"
In a way, Jin was like a lost astronaut that happened to crash land on earth which was unfamiliar to him just like how he ended up as a part of BTS without ever dreaming for such a path. It was unfamiliar and he was unsure about it (that was the reason why he had a stoic expression most of the time) until he met the little girl (army) who cherished him and to whom he taught things only to realise later how they both made each other happy. He realised home was where his "family" is ; his family comprising of his 6 brothers and ARMYs.
Towards the end, Jin looks hopeful and eager as he hears the sound of the bicycle bell which indicates that the little girl(army) is waiting right outside (fun fact: the first option for the fandom name they had was "bells" and they later changed it to ARMY) ; that when he returns back from the military, army will be waiting for him.
These are just a few but there are soo many other details. I hope you react to his LIVE performance too (You must listen to the speech Chris Martin gave before the actual performance. It's emotional but beautiful all at the same time 💜)

I'm not someone who cries easily, didn't even cry for the recent festa. I was excited to see Jin perform this song. My heart broke at how pure his smile was and how he almost seemed as if he was accepting everything and when he laughed at the end, that was my last straw. I was genuinely surprised at myself... I bawled my eyes out idk why 😭

I cried at the live performance with Coldplay. I don’t think it really hit me until I saw it. That this is probably the last live performance he will have until 2025.

Jin is actually a tenor, not a baritone. Usually he and Jimin are in charge of the high notes. V is the baritone in the group. But Jin’s vocal range is so wide that he can even sing as a baritone. 💜
Hobie is also baritone, RM is bass, Suga I haven't heard him enough to know.
Suga' s baritone. RM isn't bass range he's baritone, he can't full rich low bass and dark. Also I'm pretty sure Jhope is tenor (can't definitely claim), his higher notes lighter tone.

@@soul-soul Rm has plenty of bass notes, and some baritone. He has not worked as hard on vocals, so perhaps that's why his range is limited. You don't have to sing as low as the pentonix guy to be considered a bass.
a vocal range extending from around the second E below middle C to the E above middle C. Not sure how low RM goes, but certainly not too much higher. for purpose here, let say he has a high bass. LOL. anyway. nice talking with you.
apparently, he called chris of the band codplay and he told him that he needed a song that says goodbye to everybody and tells us that he loves us before going to the army.. so they wrote this song together, this is truly heartbreaking 💔

here are 10+ details from the MV that you might not have noticed :
1. There are a few uses of Braille in the MV, and they all symbolize ARMY. (the black boxes in the cross word puzzle spell FOR ARMY in braille, The timing when Jin showed his tattoo in Braille on his neck “⠁⠗⠍⠽[ARMY]” is timed exactly when the lyrics says “I love you" 🥺)
2. Coldplay merch (and one of the posters is for the BTS x Coldplay collaboration "My Universe" so that means all seven members of BTS are technically in the MV too. 🥲
3. The guitar that Chris Martin gifted Jin when the bands met up in New York was in the room.
4. Chris Martin even made a cameo, acting as a news reporter on TV.
5. References to Coldplay's universe.
6. Previously, Jin reffered to ARMYs as his "Earth" in his solo “Moon” as he is their moon. Multiple details connect to this. ("The planet is coming back soon, once more to the moon") 😭

8. In Jin’s room, several children’s drawings appear. They were drawn by a real kid, and it was none other than the son of the MV director Lumpens.

11. The MV is incredibly cinematic, including that it contains a great story. Jin is an alien that crashes on Earth, and he meets a family, including a little girl who represents ARMY. They both teach each other important things about life.
The little girl represents ARMY, and before he leaves, he gives her his helmet, either to protect herself or to remember him by, or both. I can't help but think that this is what is happening to us too right now.

I think part of the reason Abigail becomes emotional is because you can really feel the connection and love between BTS and ARMY in the video, lyrics, and even the music. Honestly, I believe all four of you feel it and in this MV from Jin it’s even more apparent because of the current circumstances. There are several Easter eggs in here and I have seen other ARMYs have mentioned them already but the most telling is the speech Chris Martin gave before introducing Jin at the Coldplay concert in Buenos Aries which I sincerely hope you react to as well.

Jin is, in my opinion, one of the best k-pop idols. It's funny that he never really aimed for being an idol, and ended up becoming one. He's an amazing performer- and since he is an actor, it's so amazing that he uses his acting experience to give his vocals life. He's the epitome of practice makes perfection, and hard work as well.
K-pop idols all work extremely hard, and are talented- Jin is a very good example of that. He joined with no prior experience, and ended up becoming one of the best vocalists kpop has to offer, I don't think anybody can deny that. He has a beautiful, and emotional voice. His voice is beautiful. His stage presence is also super good, and keeps improving. Although he jokes around a lot, he's also good at rapping too- some of their older projects, or even the recent sowoozoo concert can prove that. He has potential in rapping tbh.
He's an ace, a self-made ace through hardwork.
His amazing personality has also helped heal ARMY- just seeing him smile, helps many. I think that goes for all of the bts members- and in fact, for most k-pop idols. They do what they love, and use their platform to spread positivity. It's amazing really.

@@ananyasingh490 Same. Although, BTS isn't necessarily the group that introduced me to k-pop, they're the most impactful ones. The first group I heard was girls generation and shinee- and i liked their music, but i still wasn't too into k-pop- I was introduced to bts when they had just released their we are bulletproof pt 2 music video- and I thought V looked really cool. I was lowkey like woah I wanna grow up to be like them- and I became an ARMY. Throughout the journey i learned many things about them, and they taught me many things about life.
Jin taught me to always smile even through the hardest of times. He taught me to enjoy life, even the bitter times are later sweet memories. He taught me to be myself, and have self confidence. He taught me to be a better human being, and help everyone around me. He taught me to be a better person.
Kim Seokjin is truly an admirable person. Like even with the members- he never HAD to become the older brother figure- he never had to take care of them- but he DID. He did it because he wanted to, and because he knew that they were younger than him, and they needed guidance, or at least an older hyung. Even the members themselves thought that he would turn out to be somebody who only cares about hierarchy, and would be bossy- but no. Kim SeokJin was the older brother they all needed. He's their friend, and at the same time taught them things. He never used his "power" on them just because he could or anything. He kept them in control, while having fun and enjoying their lives.
I think that's personally the role model we all need in life. Somebody who doesn't use unnecessary harsh words, or gets physical all the time- but somebody who advices people, and has fun with life as well.
I think it's also amazing how respectful the other members are. They all have such amazing personalities, and all are willing to try new things- I think that's why they got along so well. Bts is filled with different personalities and yet they stick together like puzzle pieces. They complete each other.

I agree with you. I was aware they exist but haven't been a fan from the start but remembering what RM said in one interview before, BTS will appear in your life when you need them the most. And that's what happened. I needed a song to cheer me up and I got Dynamite. From that time on I could not stop loving them 🙂

Oh you guys... Jin co wrote this with Chris from Coldplay, this was Jins love song to Army, not really a goodbye but more like a see you later.. There are so many things in the video, the braille tattoo on his neck spells Army, the puzzle has the words Army Family Cozy and the space for BTS with the letter T filled in, he's teaching the little girl Army how to ride a bike, he's teaching us how to do it for ourselves, in the end the astronaut decides to stay here with his new Family and the things he finds are precious, he smiles when he hears the bell,which is when Army calls him out to play.. Jin has always said that with Army he feels like he's in heaven... Hola chicos, tienen que reaccionar al live que hizo junto a coldplay en Buenos Aires, es 1000 veces mas emotivo y la voz de jin en vivo es de otro planeta, y no se olviden de buscar primero la intro de Chris que ya te pone en clima para llorar, fue una sola canción, voló desde Corea 38 horas para presentarse, el 90% del estadio eran fanaticos de Coldplay, sacaron a la venta el remanente de entradas el dia que se anunció que Jin venia y asi y todo, ARMY ARG dijo presente y todos cantamos, gritamos y lloramos por su despedida...Excelente reacción, como siempre💜

I don't know how many times I watched this MV but every time I watch it, I always cry. I have never felt so loved by an artist who I have never even met nor has ever met me. Thanks to ARMYs who told you that the girl represents us ARMY :) But we also think it represents BTS as well...since he's the eldest of the group 🥺
In terms of lil easter eggs in the MV, Chris' guitar that he gave to Jin is in the room :) He gave it when they did their first collab, 'My Universe'. And other than Chris Martin's cameo, you can also see the Coldplay concert poster on the wall behind the TV. Also, there's a braille tattoo on the nape of Jin's neck that says ARMY. Also on the crossword puzzle "For ARMY"
When I first watched the MV, I wondered why he was expresionless. I then realized he's actually an alien, not from this earth. When he finally met the lil girl and spent time with her, I guess he gained emotions..especially happiness. His ship crashed on earth and had to stay with the girl for a while. When his ship finally was showing signs that it's working again, he ran to it but then slowly realized he doesn't want to leave. He finds earth, the little girl, as his own home.
I believe this also reflects Jin's journey in BTS as well. He had no plans of being a singer. He wanted to be an actor. But then he joined BTS, with no experience at all in singing. He even confessed in their earliest fan meeting that he never enjoyed any of it in the first place. He felt like an alien. But look at him now 😭he enjoys what he does and found family not only in BTS but in ARMY as well 💜

Damn it, I am crying again! It makes me really happy seeing you enjoying Jin and BTS so much, because they mean so much to me after my almost 4 yrs of being ARMY (went by in the blink of an eye). I know other ARMYs will tell you all the easter eggs but the guitar in the room is the guitar that Chris gave to Jin. 💜💜 Please watch Chris's speech at the show last Friday and Jin's performance - I was at the theatre for this and I was bawling my eyes out, it was the most pure, genuine, wholesome expression of love and friendship I have ever seen. Coldplay are extraordinary and such good people with good hearts, and so are BTS. No wonder they are my two favorite bands in the world and no wonder they found each other. It was meant to be. The MV has such a beautiful story. Jin is an alien (or an astronaut) whose spaceship crashes on earth. He finds a family while waiting for his spaceship to be repaired. The little girl represents ARMY. Jin starts to care about her and gives her his helmet to protect her.
When the ship is finally ready to take off, Jin decides to stay on earth because he has found his home. He then write down the word "family" on the crossword.
I think the reason why Jin doesn't smile much on the MV is because he's from a different planet and it's probably his first time on earth. Over time, he learns to love the place and don't want to leave (hence the smile near the end). I've seen some people saying that this might represent Jin's personal experience. Jin wanted to be an actor at first, but he joined BTS instead and now he doesn't want to leave because he's found his home: ARMY. Brb crying in the corner
BTS have a song called “HOME” and a solo song by Jin called “Moon”
In Moon Jin says he’s the moon that revolves around his whole world (aka ARMYs) and in Home BTS talks abt how they miss and want to return to their home (aka ARMYs).
I think this song perfectly references both as Jin’s way of telling us that while he’ll be going away (to the moon) for a little while, he’ll soon return to earth/his home (ARMYs)

My favorite thing about getting new music from BTS and the members is that I never have to worry about it being good. Even when I have an idea of what it will sound like based on teasers or descriptions from the media they still manage to surprise me and make something that is worthy of looping for days.

There is a new Rolling Stone video with RM and Pharrell Williams interviewing each other that came out today. It's another great example of someone BTS considered to be a role model who is now working with them and showing the utmost respect to them as artists and as people.
OMG you guys are getting pretty good at this analysis stuff. The fist pump is for ," fighting!" The truck has been used in several BTS MV. The trailer shows Jin, the astronaut, in space, before he crashes. The crossword puzzle has lots of words familiar, Army, cozy, the one he can't figure out until the end is family. that's BTS and ARMY.
When he is walking in the city, look at the stop signs, they are turned towards the sidewalk not the street. The random people bumping into him and he ignores. This is Jin telling us to stop the haters by ignoring them. Don't let them faze you. ( FYI, the people in black robes in so many BTS MV's are haters.)

I believe that among all the boys, Jin is the one who dedicates himself the most to the armys. Everything he does is thinking about the fans. Every solo song he's released is special to us, because he always wants to communicate his love to us (and sad and lost moments like Abyss and Tonight). He is so special, kind, and always responsible. Always taking care of all the members, he is always keeping an eye on the boys. His voice is my favorite, super powerful, touching, sincere and very technical. Silver Voice! It's sad that people always fall asleep to this amazing voice, but not everyone has that sensitive and attentive eye for these amazing voices! Looking forward to you guys doing a special one for his birthday which is now in early December! I want a lot of love for him, because he deserves it!

Jin has been coming for me since Epiphany, but this beautiful MV put me over the top. He is now my second bias wrecker along with Hobie. Loved your reaction. Yes, there were a ton of Easter eggs, but I am sure the ARMY comments have already filled you in. I think Jin has the best solo songs out of the 7 (for me & no hate to other members♡). Plus he's so good for putting emotion to the song that he sang that it breaks my heart everytime i listen to it. His voice conveys emotion so well. It can make you cry and feel comfort. He makes me feel the song every single time. No wonder he is a critically acclaimed 'silver voice' vocalist by grammy panel.

Thank you so much for the reaction!! I can't stop listening to this song because of its meaning and how beautiful it is in itself. Jin himself said that this was a song for Army (represented by the little girl), in which he is the alien and chose to stay on earth after seeing that it became his home with the people he loves 😭 Also, I don't know if you guys reacted to it yet but haven't posted, but I think it would be really amazing if you could watch their performance of Run Bts or maybe Ugh! by the rapline on the Busan Concert. It will really show you a side of the members you haven't seen yet!
I cried everytime I saw this MV. The love Jin has for Army is so pure and real and we are truly his earth and he is our moon. In all those years Jin already gave u so many beautiful songs but This song is the best gift he could give us before he is leaving us for a while. You're not the only ones who wish you had been there for them earlier. For me, I didn't discover them until early 2021, but them realized that I had been listening to MIC Drop since 2017 and never looked closer at the artist. You can imagine how much I've been kicking myself for that. This was such a sweet song that Jin did for us. I hope you react to not only the live performance he did, but also to the introductory speech Chris Martin gave right before. He's so sweet to do that for Jin. Also, you may not know, but Jin did a livestream the morning of the concert, where he watched the MV for the first time and gave some commentary, and also spoke a bit about the military thing. It's available on Weverse Live, which is where they do their livestreams now. The whole thing is about an hour long, but I think you'd enjoy seeing it.

The lyrics of this song that Jin co-wrote and all the symbolism in this music video mean so much to ARMYs. Jin is someone who just grabs your heartstrings and doesn’t let go with his music. His love for his 6 brothers and ARMYs is so deep and so pure. The live performance of this song had me feeling so much simultaneous joy, sadness and hope all at once. So grateful to Chris Martin and Coldplay for gifting Jin with this masterpiece and letting him bring it to life at their concert as parting gift to ARMYs.

in the video jin is supposed to be an alien that crashed on earth and is living there waiting for the people from his planet to come pick him up. while waiting he becomes friends with the little girl and you can see that he isn’t ‘human’ because of how he doesn’t show any emotion whatever he is doing with the girl or she is doing to him. but in the end, you see him realize that the people of the earth and the girl make him smile and he starts to show his emotions. i don’t see many people point this out but to me that’s one of the most touching details in the mv.
He came to earth with his spaceship and he chose to stay. And we will wait for our Seokjinnie 💜

I've watched several reaction videos from different people, and maybe I'm getting this wrong, but this has been my interpretation from the very first time I watched the video. He is an Alien, that crash landed, and the light was his planet, calling him home, that's why he went back to the ship. But the ship left without him, because in the end, he found what he was looking for, so he decided to stay. He found his Family; so what we are seeing is actually flashbacks of memories he created with this little girl. BTS+ARMY = FAMILY 💜 I'm sure there is a lot more but I was trying to simplify my explanation.

BTS's trademark is the Easter eggs you find in all their MVs and they relate to so many things. Like the little girl was wearing purple and her age is about the same age as Army. Some say that Chris Martin was the news reporter and the room has references to BTS's connection to Coldplay. The guitar on the couch that Chris gifted to Jin when they collaborated for My Universe, the poster is on the wall, Chris & his son Moses provided the backup vocals, the tattoo on Jin's neck is braille for Army and so are the blocks on the crossword puzzle. The pick up truck is reminiscent of the same truck in their earlier MVs and in their Yet to Come MV with his BTS brothers & now he's alone.
I hope you watch the live performance he did with Coldplay at Argentina and the short introduction that Chris said before Jin came up on stage.

A little late to the party, been catching with my deadlines at work and just saw your reaction now. I cried (again) the moment Daniel point out what he thought of Jin guiding the little girl while riding her bike because that's exactly what that means, you're getting really good at analyzing! The MV itself and the lyrics of the song are so beautiful, it's truly been an emotional roller coaster for ARMY since this song came out. 🥹Abigail getting into her feelings and was on the verge of tearing up was just so adorable 🥹 please don't hold back Abi, you have us to cry with you.
