- Justin Townes Earle is one of the most original and talented singer/song writers to come along in a long long time. I guess most people know this is Steve Earle's son (what a pool of talent...amazing!) Anyhow, as Justin remarked this is a song about knowing what's wrong and doing it anyway...I can relate :)
This song is played with a capo on the 4th fret.
The D9 cord can be played as an A7. I honestly don't know what chord he's playing but it looks like:

No matter how many times I hear you cover a song I am ALWAYS amazed. You are such a good vocalist. I like your interpretation of this song better than Justin's. I wish you were closer because I would LOVE to jam with you my friend. I've said it before but I listen to covers on youtube all the time, have been a performer myself for years, but your voice always amazes me.
