Levon blundered the end game
Blundered is understatement an absolute amateur error, something you wouldnt expect from a top level player even under the enormous pressure they play under.
Are we sure it was 2011? Wasn’t Anand champion until 2013, when Carlsen defeated him and took over the title? Anand defeated Boris Gelfand in 2012 and retained his world champion title.
8 years is still a great thing of course. No doubt that Carlsen is one of the greatest players of all time!
Ten years as number 1 FIDE not World Champ
@@Gymrat83363 Ah, got it. Thanks for clarifying. Didn’t know they were two different things. 😊
3:16 "So they both just continue like the Queens aren't facing each other" 😂 - Agadmator 2K21
#suggestion if the position was arrived like in 9:43 part of video then Rg2 wins the game because if the queen captures rook then Qb2+ check pins and wins the Black Queen!
And if the rook isn't captured the mate is soon to follow.
Rg7*
Carlsen wasn't even World Champion in 2011. That's quite impressive how he dictates to top tier world of chess now for 10 years now.
He is a inevitable force of destruction
I am not knowledgable enough to know where Magnus stands in the all time rankings. Would love to see an Agadmator video doing an all time greatest ranking list. Yes, I know it's subjective!
That's Magnus for you.
THE LEGEND

4:30 Why Rxh2 not possible by Levon?
I think it might be because of Rxg7, but I'm too lazy to use Stockfish to find out.
@@yoshilikes24-chesscraft94 then king can come to f8. And game continues. What stops that pawn from being captured?
@@youarecorrectiamwrongbecau1338 Rxh2 Rxg7 Kf8 Rh7 Rxh7 Qxh7 is 3.2 pawn advantage for White, according to Lichess' Stockfish. Queen is really deep in Black's territory, which if I understand Stockfish correctly, is the reason why the pawn on h2 couldn't be captured. At least not with Kf8 as a response to Rxg7.
I hope Magnus makes it as long as Kasparov
