Well first of all, this isn't ALL the QTEs failed, it's just the ones that are interesting. There's a few that are reused and some that are just Raiden falling to his death that I left out because they weren't interesting. And some of the QTEs that involve button mashing can't even be failed, it either continues with the QTE or doesn't until you button mash enough. I demonstrated this with Metal Gear RAY in the video and tried to avoid it anywhere else.
I also included special attacks from bosses that lead to cinematic attacks like Sam's various attacks, as well as counters. And I had the last QTE fail be that slider one because it takes about a full minute before the game finally kills you for it, which is funny to me so thought it'd be a good one to end on.
I tried putting quotations on the "hardest" QTE timestamp because some of you people have apparently never heard of sarcasm before.

During my first fight with Monsoon I had 1% left with no nanopastes and I failed to break out of being pinned so I yelled

And then the icon starts spazzing out to draw your attention to it in case you SOMEHOW missed the giant blue letter taking up half your screen.
And if that wasn't enough the energy meter starts having its OWN visual effects popping in.
AND THEN AFTER ALL THAT, RAIDEN STARTS DOING A SLOW MOTION "I GOTTA SHIELD MY FACE" ANIMATION IN ALL OF IT.
Imagine if it just said "HOLD THE LEFT TRIGGER YOU FUCKING MORON"

Those were the toughest enemies in the game.
Did you play revengeance difficulty? Mastiffs are added to almost half of all battles, or replace normal enemies. Example: first lab fight in Mexico, normally 4 regular cyborgs-->hope you like fighting 4 mastiffs.

Like, Raiden being a cyborg probably has a better reaction time (with his new body) than the average person, so it makes sense for him to do the follow up. But right after that window, Sam does a counter slash.
That and the fact that HE DEFLECTED BULLETS without any augment other than his arm and suit shows his quick reaction time.
I love how perfectly cut sam is at 5:20. The charge up and then the pause gets me everytime

I mean, even if it doesn't hurt, it's gotta feel weird.

Yeah the Armstrong fight is bugged in higher PC resolutions, I had to lower it to finally land the final punches because it was literally impossible

I unlocked a wig from it too and I was confused when I couldn’t find it anywhere. Ended up beating Hard (that playthrough was on Normal) and then realising what happened

I disagree. Snake is a single syllable word as Raiden is two. The reason why this is important is because of vowel extensions and pronunciation. Raiden is a longer word and isn't as fast to say as snake, you have a small pause in saying the name to transition from saying Rai to Den, Snake doesn't have the same pause or transition within the word, allowing it to be said faster and a bit more dramatically with ease. Yes you can say Raiden dramatically, but in order to do so you need to extend the vowels in each syllable, which they don't really do, it honestly sounds awkward, Snake has only one real vowel to extend, so it's hard to not be dramatic by shouting SNAAAAAAAAKE at the top of your lungs.
Maybe I'm a fan of Snakes.
