I found it very interesting when Shawn Michaels entered the most serious, bloody, dangerous matches with the background playing "I'm just a sexy boy, I'm not your boy toy"
Yeah the glass shattering which actually is a car crash sound sped up, it’s a classic and definitely should’ve been mentioned over some of the earlier mentions. It’s his opinion though I guess
Kurt angle's theme song is so iconic and so ingrained in pop culture that there is an ufc fighter named colby covington who uses his theme and he's still gets the" you suck" chants
Yes, I too like "This Fire" a lot more. But I also think it would have worked as a theme song for a few different wrestlers in the last twenty years, or could get over again with a new wrestler, whereas "Cult of Personality" seems unique to CM Punk.
bro i was actually waiting for Steve Austin's music to pop-up, sat through the whole video and went "hmm maybe next time" but that glass shatter got me all pumped up!! great video man
The interesting thing about The Rock’s theme songs, they all evolve and build upon each other. You listen to an early version from 1998, it’s more barebones than the others. By 2001/2002, it gets bigger with bigger drums and riffs. 2003’s Hollywood phase (which he’s using now for the Final Boss persona), scales it back while also still using the same structure. Then 2011’s return theme is the biggest and most bombast of all the themes.
It hasn't got the best opening sting but my favourite is Minoru Suzuki's Kaze ni Nare, there is something so cool, terrifying and interesting about such a brutal sadistic character walking out to a rock love ballad about going into war. Also it just sounds SO good, and it has great crowd participation.
So here's my take on that - it might not be the most high energy opening sting, but everyone knows exactly what's coming from that first trill. To me, that makes it an amazing opening sting, even if the rest of the song hits way harder.
I don't remember if it was in part 1, but if not, Jeff Hardy's theme by Endeverafter should be at worst an honorable mention. That song absolutely rips
Joe Hendry's best theme song this year had to have been when he teamed with the Hardy Boys and added them to the video... then it transitioned into "Loaded" by Zack Tempest, that little pre-existing song of the Hardy brothers that WWE somehow never bought the rights to (like I _think_ they did with "Rap Sheet" for Booker T) almost seamlessly. Whatever you want to say about TNA's current management... which seems to be doing something right to be honest... they had a full length version of that up within days. And yes, "Jimmy Wang Yang"'s theme song was freaking awesome. That guy who you really were talking about had THREE of the top ten best theme songs in the 80's. To keep vague, I'll just say "Rocky 3" and "Ravishing" for the other two.
Besides wwe n aew, new japan has some bangers too. Kazuchika Okada, Rain Maker, when you hear the coin drop, you know (well at least back then) the final boss was coming. And Minoru Suzuki’s Kaze Ni Nare just fits him so perfectly.
My favorite theme song is the song that got me back into wrestling which was last song played at Money In The Bank 2011. Unfortunately for me- that's the last time I heard "This Fire Burns" on TV.
Minoru Suzuki's theme King of the World is probably the best of all time. Honorable mentions for me are -Takeover (Katsuyori Shibata) -High Energy (Hiroshi Tanahashi) -Curtain Rises Type Fable (Konosuke Takeshita) -Shitsuren Mosh (Kenoh) -Take the Dream (Kensuke Sasaki)
I have Suzuki's theme song on my iPod playlist...I sometimes worry that I look/sound crazy when I shout out "Kaze Ni Nare" while walking down the street...
Real American was originally the theme for the US Express a tag team of Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham(who are brothers in law Rotunda married Windhams sister and their sons also became wrestlers, the late Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt and Taylor Rotunda aka Bo Dallas.
also if you want to branch out a little, I heartily recommend investigating the world of Jimmy Hart's "ours goes dun dun dun dundundundun tsh" legally distinct knockoffs for WCW, particularly the themes for DDP, Raven, Jericho, Jeff Jarrett, and Prince Iaukea (well, technically The Artist Formerly Known As Prince Iaukea) obviously just for your own entertainment, because there's not much to say beyond "lol" and its a genre of video almost as old as youtube
You need to give attention to Antonio Inoki's theme song (Inoki Bom Ba Ye). It's one of the best Japanese wrestling song out there, next to Jushin Thunder Liger's theme song.
I thought sure you'd mention it, but the old Drew McIntyre theme Broken Dreams was just so good. His theme now is one of those 'oh" songs, and I wish they'd revert back to the old one.
One of my favourite themes is from a wrestler I never cared for but his theme always fucking hit and that's Carlito's "Cool". Even to this day I randomly just hear "I spit in the face of people who don't want to be cool" in the back of my mind and start dancing to that funky Caribbean beat.
Great vid! Not sure if anyone else mentioned it but didn't Jimmy Hart write Sexy boy with JJ Maguire, before Jim Johnston came on the scene in WWF/E? And it was originally performed by his first valet/manager Sherri Martel (I remember cos of 1992 Summerslam in Wembley - my first ever and the one I've watched most) and that's the version I remember hearing first.
"Medal" - Was originally written for The Patriot (Del Wilkes) - "You Suck" wasn't the fans coming up with it on their own. It was thanks to a backstage segment with Edge and Angle. "Sexy Boy" - Originally sung by the "Sensational" Sherri (Sherri Martel), and was sang from her POV before they did the angle where Sherri switched face. So once that happened, they just went back and rerecorded it from HBK's POV. "Voices" - Don't worry, Orton prefers "Voices" as well.
I'll never forget when I first saw the moustache, the pure pride of America shining out of him... Jimmy Wang Yang is the goat, I'll never forget him slamming André The Giant at WrestleMania 3
Sorry but the real gold has gone completely unnoticed here - is no one going to mention the absolute screamer smashed home at 7:11 You just don't save those
There is a disturbing lack of At Last, both Just Close Your Eyes and Take Over I'm afraid. Christian had at least three all timer themes in addition to having The Brood theme from his time in The Brood.
In defense of the theme in that Rollins clip, that theme song was for The Final Testament and literally debuted the night prior on SD so there's a good chance that was the first time he was hearing that theme ever.
Hope to see more wrestling content from you. Be cool to look back at important promo packages like the My Way by Limp Bizkit, or return packages like Clocks by Coldplay for when Kurt Angle returned.
Hey! Great video and channel! We'd love to see you do a video breaking down our very own Carter Brady and his latest no-skip modern rock record 'Shopping Cart'. All the best and hoping to hear from you!
Funny thing: the Jade intro thing that sounds like Def Rebel originated in her AEW theme. You should check out Kingfish performing it for one of her AEW PPV entrances if you haven’t.
Lita and he who shall not be named have my all time favorite theme but they both have like actual songs as their theme so i get why they'd have an asterisk
i think i know of a track that couldve topped this list, but unfortunately it hasnt been released for the public but nevertheless, Disturbed's version of Triple H's music wouldve been an instant banger.
CFO$ had a pretty solid one with Keith Lee's NXT theme, bonus points since Lee rapped it himself. Also, one of my favorites has always been "The Kings" by Run DMC...an alternate version of the DX theme. A certified banger by hip hop royalty with a rock influence. It's almost like they did a modern version of the rock/rap mix they had from "Walk This Way" with Aerosmith. :D
I love AEW, but most of their best theme songs are licensed songs. "Jane" for Orange Cassidy ("Where Is My Mind" sucks) "End of Heartache" for Rodrick Strong, "Tarzan Boy" for Jack Perry, and "I Fell" for Darby Allin. "Judas" sort of falls into that category, but it also falls into the 'the wrestler sung it' category... Their best instrumental work was probably Hangman Page's first theme. Sadly, most of the themes I mentioned have since been replaced, which says a little bit about current AEW...
3:54 that makes total sense to me, I made a similar decision in 2019 when AEW came on the scene. I’d been done with main roster WWE for a couple of years by that point, unless it was the Rumble or possible Mania, but was an NXT die hard. When AEW came on the scene, I made the choice to focus strictly on them, as keeping up to date with multiple promotions while working full time and trying to have something resembling a life is tricky enough without all the hours of wrestling that are out there. That’s what I love about the wrestling world these days, more so than ever, there’s something for everyone. Also, that house show card was certainly… a mixed bag wasn’t it. Some classic house show fare, with what on paper could have been a sleeper hit or two thrown in for good measure. In my head, I picture Carlito vs Jonny Nitro being better than it had any right to be.
You coming out as a wrestletalk fan means we'll get a video ranking luke and Pete's music taste right? (Kidding, that would be a hugely specific group that would want this)
Triple H has three themes that are near perfect tbh, The Game, King of Kings and Line in the Sand (for Evolution). Its no coincidence, because all three are Motorhead (an absolutely top rate band) working together with Johnson (who knows wrestling music inside out).
I would honestly love a part 3 where you did listen to some AEW tracks and judged them just on the song since you don't have a lot of context. I feel like Will Ospreay, Darby Allin and Britt Baker are clear highlights. I love Stone Cold and Triple H but I think Cult of Personality is the best of all time with context. Punk is responsible for arguably the biggest pop of all time in two different major wrestling companies and deserves his flowers for that.
Wasnt the original "sexy boy" done by Sherri Martel? Also: the William Shatner "The Game" is hilarious Also also: I have a strong liking for the Golddust theme.
JIMMY WANG YANG SIGHTING
WANG SIGHTING
THE GOAT!!!!!!
RAHH!! 🗣️
WANGHEADS KEEP WINNING
I found it very interesting when Shawn Michaels entered the most serious, bloody, dangerous matches with the background playing "I'm just a sexy boy, I'm not your boy toy"
Even more so after winning some of those matches.
I really thought you were about to not mention Stone Cold, and then when I least expected it there it was. Very fitting
Yeah the glass shattering which actually is a car crash sound sped up, it’s a classic and definitely should’ve been mentioned over some of the earlier mentions. It’s his opinion though I guess
Kurt Angle's theme song was actually the Patriot's theme song first!
Correct 🇺🇲
Kurt angle's theme song is so iconic and so ingrained in pop culture that there is an ufc fighter named colby covington who uses his theme and he's still gets the" you suck" chants
It has certain vibes of Hacksaw Jim Duggan and his patriotic 2 by 4.
Now we know how little effort he puts into researching his videos
I didn’t even know football teams had theme songs 😭
Unfortunately, Chris Benoit’s theme goes so incredibly hard, and is one of the few themes that is good outside of just wrestling
It’s on my playlist every gym session, right next to The Game and Slow Chemical
i saw Our Lady Peace (the band that did that theme) live a few months ago. they put on an incredible show
16:16 bro was in the thick of it there for a moment💀
aw man, no mention to Punk's former theme song This Fire performed by Killswitch Engage? Banger song
Agreed, even though he (CM Punk) likes Cult of Personality more, This Fire Burns is far better, just check out that 2011 Money in the bank entrance
great song, it's on my metal playlist
Yes, I too like "This Fire" a lot more. But I also think it would have worked as a theme song for a few different wrestlers in the last twenty years, or could get over again with a new wrestler, whereas "Cult of Personality" seems unique to CM Punk.
bro i was actually waiting for Steve Austin's music to pop-up, sat through the whole video and went "hmm maybe next time" but that glass shatter got me all pumped up!!
great video man
Felt the same way, I was getting tight until I heard that glass shatter

Nakamura's subconscious is sooo underrated
I don't remember if it was in part 1, but if not, Jeff Hardy's theme by Endeverafter should be at worst an honorable mention. That song absolutely rips
Yes! I love this theme!
Evolution’s Time in the Sand is the best imo. Just fits the faction perfectly and has an aura like no other.
Line*
Joe Hendry's best theme song this year had to have been when he teamed with the Hardy Boys and added them to the video... then it transitioned into "Loaded" by Zack Tempest, that little pre-existing song of the Hardy brothers that WWE somehow never bought the rights to (like I _think_ they did with "Rap Sheet" for Booker T) almost seamlessly. Been waiting for this video, needed this part 2, wild that one gif of taz at thanksgiving, @8:01, was the only wwe show ive ever been to
My favorite theme song is the song that got me back into wrestling which was last song played at Money In The Bank 2011. Unfortunately for me- that's the last time I heard "This Fire Burns" on TV.
Minoru Suzuki's theme King of the World is probably the best of all time. Honorable mentions for me are

Meltzer love all of those i bet
@@hectorlagos8937 why do you say that?
Shibata's thème is amazing. With the context of his career, it gives it a bittersweet feel that's beautiful.
I was so hype when you ended it with Stone Cold's theme.
The worst thing about great wrestling themes is that maybe the best ever was the theme song of *redacted*.
Whatever by Our Lady Peace
its such a great wrestling song. sucks no one will ever be able to reuse it
Crisp Enwah
Real American was originally the theme for the US Express a tag team of Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham(who are brothers in law Rotunda married Windhams sister and their sons also became wrestlers, the late Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt and Taylor Rotunda aka Bo Dallas.
Nooo! You were so close to mentioning "My Time", basically the blueprint for "The Game"!
Sad it wasn’t mentioned but the brood theme is fantastic
One of the best theme songs of the attitude era
Mick Foley's was also another incredible one. The car crash was the perfect sting for his personas.
drew mcintyre’s broken dreams not being mentioned in either video is a sin. the best song in wrestling history imo
also if you want to branch out a little, I heartily recommend investigating the world of Jimmy Hart's "ours goes dun dun dun dundundundun tsh" legally distinct knockoffs for WCW, particularly the themes for DDP, Raven, Jericho, Jeff Jarrett, and Prince Iaukea (well, technically The Artist Formerly Known As Prince Iaukea)
obviously just for your own entertainment, because there's not much to say beyond "lol" and its a genre of video almost as old as youtube
Or Dale Oliver for TNA
You need to give attention to Antonio Inoki's theme song (Inoki Bom Ba Ye). It's one of the best Japanese wrestling song out there, next to Jushin Thunder Liger's theme song.
Hogan’s theme is actually an anthem, incredibly well produced song
now for the important question Mr. Alfo: do you fw Deadlock?
and if so, hamburger or hotdog style?
Maybe or maybe not, dude
My favorite music youtuber talking about my favorite sports "entertainment"
I thought sure you'd mention it, but the old Drew McIntyre theme Broken Dreams was just so good. His theme now is one of those 'oh" songs, and I wish they'd revert back to the old one.
Samoa Joe's "Destroyer" while in WWE is so badass! It's very simple, but gets the crowd pumped chanting JOE JOE JOE
Voices is great but Burn in My Light was a banger as well
One of my favourite themes is from a wrestler I never cared for but his theme always fucking hit and that's Carlito's "Cool". Even to this day I randomly just hear "I spit in the face of people who don't want to be cool" in the back of my mind and start dancing to that funky Caribbean beat.

The Judgement day theme song is probably one of the greatest theme song of all time

You just don't save those
Bros got a solid finish , post more football clips in future it’s awesome
Damn man aight I'll subscribe
I am a big fan of Pro Wrestling Noah’s sting before every GHC championship match
Was waiting waiting for this one need both just close your eyes on this and slow chemical
There is a disturbing lack of At Last, both Just Close Your Eyes and Take Over I'm afraid.
Christian had at least three all timer themes in addition to having The Brood theme from his time in The Brood.
A bit of a deep cut but Jon Moxley's NJPW/Death Riders Theme is my all time favorite in wrestling. I could run through brick walls listening to that.
In defense of the theme in that Rollins clip, that theme song was for The Final Testament and literally debuted the night prior on SD so there's a good chance that was the first time he was hearing that theme ever.
Banger video
my grandma likes shinsuke nakamura and his theme song and calls him "the drunk man" in my native language
Hope to see more wrestling content from you. Be cool to look back at important promo packages like the My Way by Limp Bizkit, or return packages like Clocks by Coldplay for when Kurt Angle returned.
*_Oi! That "Random Jobber" is Jimmy Wang Yang!_*_ You show that boi some respect!_
Real American tho, killed me! 💀
Major respect for finding a way to include an Otis doing a Caterpillar clip
D'Lo Brown had some great music!
Besides Stone Cold, Jeff Hardy, Jericho, Shinsuke's babyface theme, etc. One of my favorites is The Kings by Run DMC for DX.
One that I think has one of the greatest stings. Brock Lesnar’s return when he F-5ed John Cena in green was amazing
Heck of a finish at 7:13 pal
Hey! Great video and channel! We'd love to see you do a video breaking down our very own Carter Brady and his latest no-skip modern rock record 'Shopping Cart'. All the best and hoping to hear from you!
5:15 to be fair for Jade Cargil, AEW did that first. Not def rebel.
Funny thing: the Jade intro thing that sounds like Def Rebel originated in her AEW theme. You should check out Kingfish performing it for one of her AEW PPV entrances if you haven’t.
"The Game" can't be among the best wrestling themes if it wasn't even the best theme for that wrestler. "My Time" for the win!
....And that's the bottom line 16:45
Lita and he who shall not be named have my all time favorite theme but they both have like actual songs as their theme so i get why they'd have an asterisk
brett hart’s song is underrated. talk about sting? that guitar whine is iconic
Shinsuke's newest theme sounds awesome too
Scoring a banger then doing Prince Nana's dance is an elite combo
i think i know of a track that couldve topped this list, but unfortunately it hasnt been released for the public
but nevertheless, Disturbed's version of Triple H's music wouldve been an instant banger.
Some finish that 🔥
5:46 WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔊🗣️
5:16
I AM THE LEARNING TREE
Kaze Ni Nare(Minoru Suzuki Theme) deserves a shout here. If you don't know the story behind the song and character I'd look into cause it's super cool

Orange Cassidy has some great licensed themes. "Where is my mind?" By Pixies and "Jane" by Jefferson Starship.
This Fire.
Goldust’s “shattered dreams” remains the best theme song!
NOW I KNOW Y'ALL BE LOVIN THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE
L-I-M-P BIZKIT IS RIGHT HERE
I would honestly love a part 3 where you did listen to some AEW tracks and judged them just on the song since you don't have a lot of context. I feel like Will Ospreay, Darby Allin and Britt Baker are clear highlights.

Punk is responsible for arguably the biggest pop of all time in two different major wrestling companies and deserves his flowers for that.
Triple H’s theme ‘My Time’ he used before ‘The Game’ might be the most underrated theme in wrestling history
2:47 dude, same… I watched in the early 90s… in 2010, the product was garbage. I bought wwe 2k22.. and that got me hooked again
Classic Triple H finishing SECOND lol... mad B plus playah!!! Hollah Hollah!
Another deeply underrated theme is Drew McIntyre's Broken Dreams
I appreciate the wrestling memes in here they don’t know about ya boy Michael Mcgillicutty
I get fired up every time "BURN IT DOOWWWWWNNN" hits for Seth Rollins. I also enjoy that he named himself after Henry Rollins
I believe Real American was used by the Fabulous free bids first, but I might be wrong. I am sure that it wasn't always Hulk Hogan's theme, though
Wasnt the original "sexy boy" done by Sherri Martel?
Also: the William Shatner "The Game" is hilarious
Also also: I have a strong liking for the Golddust theme.
11:13 the Wagner thing with Danielson is because Yoshiaki Fujiwara used the same song back in the day
I STILL lift to I walk alone, slow chemical & metalingus to this day. Metalingus is fucking amazing.
How about a ranked theme type of video for specific wrestlers? Sting had a few across a few promotions. There's plenty of options.🤷♂
Voices>Burn In My Light
Also they finna kill me for this...but
This Fire Burns>Cult of Personality
Miseria Cantare > both
Wait no excellence of execution?? This list was almost perfect!!!!
Happy Gobbledy Gooker Day to all Americans! (except that jabroni Hulk Hogan)
Fack the Hulk Hogan! (RIP Sheiky Baby.)
Asuka first theme that being "the Future" Great song
Have you heard shibatas theme? I like the intro more than the guitar that happens later on in the theme
JIMMY WANG YANG MENTIONED!! RAHH
I BELIEVE
13:16 I gotta know if the new theme is above or below this. I’m thinking better?????
Will Osprey Elevated is the perfect entrance theme
Yeah, it's great. Makes him feel like a bigger star than he already is.
OSPREAY! OSPREAY!
Austin’s disturbed theme ♥️
Hey, what the hell. I wasn't expecting to hear Arthur Russell in this video
16:16 is a KSI reference 😭
