A great tutorial Lori. So clear to me now. I could not remember every step from a class I took when I bought my Dream machine recently. I have spent hours watching different tutorials on the stippling after finishing a quilt and was so frustrated. Thank you so much!!
Thank you!!!! This video has so much useful information. I wish I had watched this BEFORE I did my wallhanging project. My sewing shop did not teach these features, so I hand drew areas and scanned my drawing and filled them, and then I had the problem of lining up the fabric to match my scans. I spent HOURS doing that. I had good results, but this tutorial is so amazing that I actually went back and made another wallhanging so I could try this feature!
Please would love to see you continue on to the other parts of the quilt to show how you join the stippling without it looking spaced. This would be very helpful
Thank you so much for this video! I just got a new to me Destiny II. My goals are to use it with quilting in just this way. I have Embrilliance software and do alot of digitizing for my personal projects. I was quite dissappointed to find out I could not use my E2E design to store in the Destiny to use for fills. After seeing this video I am now seeing the draw line features and am thinking I could possibly draw my own fills using stitches? Now I'm getting excited again. I would love to see a video on something like I have described if it is possible.
I just loved this video and would love to see you continue on to the other parts of the quilt to show how you join the stippling without it looking spaced.
Thank you so much. I can't wait to try this in the morning. I've been wondering exactly how to do this. I have a Sunbonnet Sue quilt I want to stipple around each Sue in each block. Love your channel.
Absolutely perfect delivery of how to use the different features to attain form fitting stipples on a pieced design. Please continue to produce awesome videos such as this one!
This was the most incredibly useful demonstration Lori! You have a natural and easily understandable manner... I love this video...I subbed immediately then went to watch more of your videos and you haven't uploaded in 2 years ....I'm gutted ! Hope you might come back and some more....pretty please? Lindy
So magically done on the Destiny! Thank you for this tutorial. Amazing what you can do on this machine. Still learning but loving the Destiny experience.
Great video. I was hoping you would continue with what you do after you finish the first hoop. How do you contiue on with the rest of the table runner? thanks so much
I don't have a tutorial showing that just yet. I will put that on my list! Yes I did that in the IQ Designer of my machine. You must have the brother model. So yes it can be done in your Design Center!
Thank you for your reply,, hey,, if you have time ...one more question?? Been playing all day. To do a stipple around a figure. Any way it doesn’t seem as though my lines are closing automatically?. Any suggestions. Wow,,so happy I found you. Your RUclips’s are really the BEST out there. Only had machine a month. It was brand new. Dream 2 machine.
Make sure your using the Point to Point Tool. In your line property area you can choose from a open pencil, closed pencil, straight line and the last is your point to point. It looks like a lightening bolt. When you get your last point very close to your first point then it will close.
Maureen sorry I’m just commenting. Trying to catch up 🤗. I am planning to do a larger quilt and share that process. Hope to have that up in a couple of weeks or sooner. Will that help?
Excellent video. I noticed that when you scanned the quilt it didn't ask for the positioning marker sticker. I have seen this on other videos as well. My Destiny always ask me to place the sticker to determine thickness of fabric. How did you get rid of placing the sticker that looks like a snowman. thanks
Physalia Cassiopeia that’s because if you go into your settings page on page 9 you need to turn OFF the fabric thickness sensor options. Once you do this it will not ask you to use the positioning sticker!!! :)
Joanne, Go into your settings page, find the page that has the BACKGROUND IMAGE DISPLAY option. Turn OFF the FABRIC THICKNESS SENSOR...... My guess is you have that function turned on. I hope this helps. It is not necessary to have the FABRIC THICKNESS SENSOR turned on. Thanks for your comment, I hope this works for you! :)
So glad I found this video, very helpful, great instruction. will look for other videos by you.
I too would love to see you continue on to the other parts of the quilt to show how you join the stippling without it looking spaced.
You are really good at teaching. This is fabulous and I'm going to try it. I'm tired of paying people to quilt for me. Thanks so much.
Ree you are so welcome!!! I love quilting my quilts like this!
You have a gift, not everyone can teach. Thank you very much.

Do you have a video of how you did the sewing around those circles. They are perfect. I am assuming you did them in Design Center?
I don't have a tutorial showing that just yet. I will put that on my list! Yes I did that in the IQ Designer of my machine. You must have the brother model. So yes it can be done in your Design Center!

Lori do you have any videos on how you go to next part of the quilt and connect or continue your quilting?

Go into your Settings Page on your machine and find the page that is your Background Sensor display and turn off your Fabric Thinkness Sensor :)
On my destiny2 I have to put the snowman on the fabric...why don’t you need it?

very Nice, thank you!!!
What stylist are you using please
So if I would have wanted to satin stitch on the applique part, how would I have done that before the stippling step.
can you show how to put designs from a usb jpg into design center ?
Mary check out the Solaris series, I believe it’s the second one. That should show you.
