Nice little review mate. Just one thing which was mentioned previously gently squeeze the trigger don't snatch at it keep your finger on the trigger all the way through the shot until your pellet hits the target as the slightest movement at the end of the barrel will become 10 fold by the time it reaches the target 🎯. Hope this helps mate. Keep at it. And the Remington is a Cracking piece of kit lovely Gun. Going to my local dealer to get the warhawke Tomorrow. Shoot safe mate and keep up with the reviews. 👍👍👍👍
I love comments like this, and its really helpful to me, I am a beginner and new to this and sometimes get a lot of abuse for my videos but people don't see that I am a beginner, so I appreciate the advice, and its amazing to learn that just a slight pull over a distance can send the pellet huge distance away. I am looking for a club to join so hopefully can get better faster.
@@BeMoreWild Keep at it mate as the saying goes. Nothing good ever comes easily or overnight. You will pick up plenty of info if you are able to join a club. When i first started i was absolutely useless couldn't hit the side of a barn. But with time and help from some really decent guys at the range things slowly started coming together. The best piece of advice i was given was the tip i gave you about your breathing and the moment because they will seriously affect your shot. If you can pick up any books you can on Air Gun Target Shooting also the monthly magazine Air Gunner it's full of useful information. Keep it up mate and looking forward to hearing back from you on how you get on. All the best Peter.
My next Rifle, I wet to Surplus Store last week to buy the Warhawk and came out with the Remington Airacobra instead can't shoot it yet though because the dive shop's not open to charge the air bottle , lol
oh mate that must be frustrating, proper nice looking gun though, im impressed with Remington and the prices they offer. let me know how you get on with the cobra mate
Safety first, always hold on to the underlever while loading a pellet, no matter how many safety devices, if they fail you could chop the ends of your finger off ,
Got my first air rifle month ago. I hold my breath on the shot as i find the crosshair didnt move about then. Not sure if that's recommended. I also seen an ARTILLERY HOLD which apparently helps with accuracy.
Yeah I have heard about holding the breath to stabilise but don’t don’t do it too long or pass out from lack of oxygen haha 😛 only messing but I don’t know anything about the artillery hold. How’s that work?
bought one last november, chucked the scope(not very good)put a hawke 3 x 9 x40 a.o fastmount scope on it,now a fair ratting gun after putting 500 pellets through,it seems to like JSB Diablo.btw the lens covers are just to keep the scope lenses dust free.
Thanks for the comment. Well I’ll be damned I was told and shown it was a filter haha. Well you live and learn. So you would suggest ditching the scope and then it will make good use for ratting?
Yes mate, hawke fastmount around £60, which makes a real difference because you can adjust the focus to the distance you are shooting at.dont throw the one that included as if you sell the rifle refit it.
I honestly absolute love this gun. The trigger set up and layout is bit congested but once you get used to it, it becomes second nature. I’ve also seen people say they upgraded the scope also but I’m still using original.
Ur filter buddy is not a filter at all, it’s a lense protector , anti bear trap next to the trigger to stop your thumb getting chopped off in the loading pellets to the breach ,, watch a few RUclips vids to gen yourself up as appears you don’t no a lot about air rifles , scopes etc , don’t mean to be disrespectful, just saying how I see it , as long as you have harmless fun, and enjoy your self that’s all what counts , enjoy your gun , thumbs up Shane uk 🇬🇧
Heya Shane, no you are correct I am a beginner in most of this stuff besides nutrition and fitness but everything else I’m learning as I go and sharing my experiences. I was originally told the filter was a colour filter but later learned it’s a lense protector. Didn’t know the anti bear trap term but did know it was to protect fingers. This is something I want to learn more about and dig deeper as a hobby alongside the bushcraft etc. No offence taken mate, I’m here to learn and if someone can help me in the right direction I’m happy to hear it. Thanks for the comment buddy. Stay safe.
Be More Wild good stuff I’m no expert , I’m an old git and still learn , things and I’m 56 ,, take a look at my RUclips channel when you get time ,, cheers buddy Shane
Thank you for the tips, Think I need to sit down with someone in the know and have a plink with them. I agree I am a little heavy handed with things when gripping, probably lack of confidence maybe.
that's a good point, it is a little busy there and can be confusing for a beginner too I reckon. im not sure if their intention is to train beginners to keep one hand in position when dealing with a undercover or break barrel by keeping the triggers and catches close in one place. thanks for the comment
@@BeMoreWild also if you use a pcp you are reliant on a air bottle or pump , with a Springer it is self contained, the rifle and some pellets and you are good to go 😁👍
Beautiful rifle but I feel so bad for you guys in the UK 12 foot pounds not good I would not buy a rifle in less is over 30-40 foot pounds I just received my Remington 725 VTR today in .25 and that is about 31 foot pounds but I'm sure you can have a good time with that rifle and hunt good animals with that underlever even with 12 foot pounds. good luck shoots safe 🐇
Yeah we have many restrictions over here which I do understand why but for people who want to do this for a living or serious hobby I think we should have more help in attaining it. always wanted to move to the big US of A , my buddy moved to Texas from here and I met some awesome friends when I went to Memphis. It is a lovely rifle especially for the price.
No big game over here a 12ftlb air rifle takes care of the quarry that you are legally allowed to shoot over here anything else a 22 rim fire does the job... No need for uzi 9mm or ak57..... Well not until there is a civil war which isn't that far off 🤣👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Good point Didn’t think of that at time it was one of my first ever videos using an air rifle and was focused on trying to speak like I knew what I was saying haha 😂 Next time I’ll make sure I show distances. But it was 45 feet
Use this air rifle before? hit me below I the comments
@Donny Utton yes coming next
Hi ,I've got the warhawk ,great rifle ,I use Jws superdomes. and perform great very accurate ,just needs running in, at least 300 pellets .
@@davidclarke1731 oh great ive not used the super domes before , might be worth for me to give them a try also. thanks for your comment

Well done, this is a great video. Off to the Surplus Store at 3 bridges in Crawley in the morning to get myself one.
Thank you so much, how was your purchase? I got mine from Crawley also

Thank you, somethings I dont think of until someone else says oi look at that and I think oh yeah
Evening mate, happy days. Should be fun for days. Keep it up. Nice one. Tc you an family. Andy
thank you buddy, yeah it is a lovely gun, and yourself mate, be safe :)

oh that's brilliant to hear, I appreciate that mate. you tried the Warhawk?
No not yet mate

This gun look amazing for the price point ! I have question kids around 10 yards old can manage this spring ?
Hmm 🤔 it’s quite heavy
I think maybe too heavy for a ten year old.
Hi mate what’s your impression of this gun ? I’m undecided between this or the Remington sabre
I honestly absolute love this gun. The trigger set up and layout is bit congested but once you get used to it, it becomes second nature. I’ve also seen people say they upgraded the scope also but I’m still using original.

Just subscribing now buddy
Got the warhawk today puts rabbits over at 40 to 50 yards no problem
oh thats pretty awesome, glad you like it and its been practical and efficient for you
Try not griping the foregrip so hard m8 , the left hand is for a support hand. Looks like you may be pulling the rifle to the left a little.
Thank you for the tips, Think I need to sit down with someone in the know and have a plink with them. I agree I am a little heavy handed with things when gripping, probably lack of confidence maybe.
Great injoyed thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Shoot left and up?
Squeeze the trigger, don't pull on it.
Enjoy yourself. Target shooting can't be beat. Always room for improvement. . . .
Great advice thank you for the tips, I am a novice and beginner and am continuing to try and develop my knowledge so this is great thank you again.
Very similar to the Rimington sabre
Thank you for comment
Would it kill pidgeons
yes it would if within correct distance and sighted in
Are you OK shooting on your back garden m8 I'd love to know the law I've no permission so that's a problem if I fancy a shot there n then
My family own the property and their are no residence behind me besides high land that people can’t walk on. My neighbours are also ok about it.
😊
Brackets ?
scope brackets? it does come with them, I probably called the, by a wrong name haha
To much going on near the trigger, i personally don't like safety catches that close to the trigger, 😁👍
that's a good point, it is a little busy there and can be confusing for a beginner too I reckon. im not sure if their intention is to train beginners to keep one hand in position when dealing with a undercover or break barrel by keeping the triggers and catches close in one place. thanks for the comment

Don't feel sorry at least our children are safe in school
you didnt show distance you were shooting so kind of pointless video
Good point

Next time I’ll make sure I show distances.
But it was 45 feet
alot of people seem to miss that too, all the best@@BeMoreWild
