How does this plane compare to the Skynetic Dragonfly from MotionRC or the H-King Skipper? Seems like this one is significantly more expensive, so I’m wondering if it is worth it.
This is made of the more crash resistant EPP. The others are made of the lighter but more fragile EPO. For competent pilots with a low crashes to flights ratio they will be better. Most of the cost of these is from the GPS and Stabilizer Radio gear. You can get the EPP frames quite a bit cheaper than for the other 2. Chose to suit your own circumstances.
No, no ARF or RTF model airplanes come with installed RID, at least that I am aware of. The only ones that do are drones that weigh over 250 grams. This is called "Standard Remote ID" when installed at the factory, as opposed to module or broadcast remote ID.
Hi Tim! New to the channel, love the build videos. I am a medium skill level pilot i would say, with a few planes. I love bushplanes, and i have 3 of them in 1,2 and 1,3 and 1,4 meters. Do you think it would be possible to build a roughly 2 to 2,5 meter wingspan plane from foamboard? As a bush style plane.

Yes, this is possible for sure. I'd recommend some 1/16" or 1/8" plywood spars in the wing to ensure proper strength.
