It was unconfortable. Same with Abby being able to play with the dogs which you mercilessly slaughtered before as Ellie. Everyone had personality and just wanted to survive like you. In LOU1, there was a village full of irredeemable jerks which was in hindsight kinda dumb.

I love how the zombies don’t have any weird gurgling noises or stuff like normal movie zombies do. The detail of how they scream like humans is horrifying yet brilliant

@@alexdunn7891 That's not true. Most of the sounds infected people make in the show sound like people just roaring and screaming in agony. The elderly woman, Mrs Adler, who chased after Sarah, didn't sound like a Walking Dead zombie at all. If you just listened to the audio, you'd have no idea it was anything like a zombie. Just heavy breathing and guttural painful screams just like the game.
What you're referring to a sound that's made a few times that's a precursor to the noise that clickers make. The infected guy who chases Joel before Sarah dies in the show makes a vaguely clicker-like sound but other than that he just sounds like a demented guy roaring and screaming, and either way, it sounds nothing like a Walking Dead zombie. It happens after he violently twitches - it's there to represent a sort of command from the Cordyceps that's dug into his brain stem. It's effective horror so I don't see it as something to complain about.
The show actually did a better job of showing the horror of the conversion process. That scene of Mrs Adler out of focus in the background of a shot, shuddering and contorting and conscious of what's happening to her, is brilliant horror.
That bomb drop and dip back at 3:17 was incredible. It actually felt very Ellie. Clever, risky, and maybe a bad idea.
There never was a game that came anywhere near close to the excitement that this game achieves in it's combat design...and watching video's such as this one proves my point...great stuff.
Any first person shooter is better than this.. not a very good game besides graphics

@@chelburner1 rdr2 was also good but lacked the fluidity that tlou2 and Uncharted 4 had, those games made you feel like an action star. Rdr2 was more for the slow paced spaghetti western action while Naughty Dog's was more intense modern hollywood action.

The amount of detail is amazing. Love the natural movements. And the gore aspect from explosions.
This is such a pleasure to watch. Combat in this game is so good. The devs did an extradentary job. People like you really show how versatile and dynamic the combat can be.
I forgot how excellent the gameplay is in this game and your skills playing it is a sight to behold. When you killed three zombies with a single shot was mightily impressive.

@@Joe_blow121 AI is much better pretty much sums up combat, them being actually smart makes a difference. Plus dogs and with stealth you can prone, go in water, and much more extras were added for movement to make stealth and combat more fluid
The last of us 2 gameplay is the best of both worlds: kind of real life movement, animations and reactions along videogame convenience packed for the ultimate stress killer experience.

I've watched quite a few of your videos now and I'm absolutely astounded by your skill level. I've played the game through twice now and whenever I tried to break out of a stealth approach and into a more aggressive one, I usually end up dead or very damaged.

Not often I call a video game a work of art, but both the first one and Part II are works of art. Simply unbeatable in every aspect.

9:50 I absolutely love that the AI doesnt automatically know where you are and that they continue to base your location off of where they have last seen evidence of you having been even after seeing something like their friend being exploded in front of them

wow, these are some great sequences of choreography. It is only a testament to how tight the whole game is as a third-person shooter.
It even makes me more impatient for the upcoming 'whatever named mp would spawn from it'. Knowing is their main project, for the time being, I really feel like Naughty Dog has the prerequisite to seriously shake the mp gaming space with this one.
I truly hope they steer clear of multiplayer and just keep giving us insanely tight SP experiences
@@EvilDogFilmsOfficial I'd prefer if they went back to Uncharted 2 and 3 campaigns with the extensive multiplayer modes those also had. Uncharted 4 was lacklustre in terms of its mp and TLOU2 had nothing in that regard which is a shame.

@@colepayne7988 right? People think he/she is this amazing on first play through. You can’t craft that many bombs without having “infinite crafting” and “infinite ammo” turned in. Which can only be done after beating the game to agin access to the cheat menu. Nothing wrong with playing the game this way, you earn it by doing a full play. But let’s not pretend the person is amazing. They aid to do several resets in these areas to learn the algos of where AI characters will walk/run.

Tlou1 and 2 are the only games I really enjoy playing on the hardest mode. What I notice when playing both fully is that tlou2 enemies have much better aim but you’re less likely of dying in 1 or 2 hits. I also really enjoy bricks and bottles aka the best weapons in the game.

I'm playing TLOU2 again these days I gotta say it's by far one of the best game I've ever played among few if not the best. I give it a solid 10/10 even its storyline is awesome.

I feel u. This game is panic-inducing and it's hard to think straight during some sequences cos of how immersive it is, ergo the suspense. But once ur able to calm down and get used to the controls u'll find it way easier, trust me

If you struggle on this game on Light or Very Light, I got some advice that I'd give ya: get good.
Okay, jokes aside, you really have to know your enemies in this game, that much is clear. For example, infected in general are kinda stupid so it's better to take them out using stealth. Of course this is nigh impossible with the Stalker and straight up impossible with the Bloater and Rat King, but using your switchblade or shiv can save you a lot of ammo that you can then use on a Bloater or the Rat King later on.
Humans and Dogs, however, are fairly intelligent. I'm stating the obvious here, I know, but you're gonna want to be more clever with them. On Very Light or Light, I found that it's pretty easy to sneak by them and herd them to a location just to give them the Molotov Cocktail treatment. You do have to shake up your playstyle more on higher difficulties as Dogs get more ferocious and leave their sense of self-preservation behind as they charge to your location to try and bite your face off, and Humans will try to flank you at every given opportunity. For WLF Soldiers with dogs, I recommend killing the human first, because as far as I know, dogs don't immediately alert the entire crew once their partner is taken out.
If you wanna go ham on this game and you can afford it, the shotgun and revolver are the two best weapons you can use. If you want stealth, like me, then the 9MM pistol with a silencer and the bow/crossbow will be your third and fourth best friend, next to bricks and bottles.
Ellie's tiny switchblade is the best weapon in the game though, don't even argue with me.
- 1,000,000% durable.
- Takes enemies out with four hits, one hit if it's a Stealth Kill or if the enemy is stunned.
- It's an Italian Stiletto Knife. Awesome knife.
- It just looks fucking cool.
- The person carrying it is cool.
And if given the opportunity, and the money, I'd definitely buy a replica of Ellie's switchblade.
Tl;dr - For most Infected, use stealth. For humans and dogs, go ham if you want.
Best weapons:
Brutal: Shotgun, revolver
Stealth, Bow/crossbow, pistol and Ellie's switchblade/Abby's shivs
You make grounded look easy, cool gameplay bro keep it up
The music is that final touch that gives the greatness of the gameplay, i have never played something this inmerssive
the detail of camera placing/movement and gameplay execution is from another planet! very well done!
The total freedom of the combat in this game and the brutality almost reminds me of ghost of Tsushima because there are so many ways to approach it

Killing main characters make it more realistic, and the growth from both Abby and Ellie in this game is amazing. Stop being so close minded, see BOTH perspectives, not just Ellies. If you hate the game so much, then why are you here?

To many people listened to all the "this is an sjw game" comments when the story was leaked before it came out. From then on, everyone was hating on the game and saying it was trash. Many, many people refused to play it because of this false narrative, which is a shame, because its truly one of the very best videogames ever made
