As a 4K player that loves Pathtracing, maxing out games and modding the living Hell out of my games the 4090 was a must. The 3080ti was a stutter fest due to 12GB of Vram and high resolution texture modding was basically impossible in games like Cyberpunk and Skyrim. Switched over to a 3090ti and that resolved those problems thankfully before I went to the 4090 later on...

The High setting still the best for this game without RT On. I don't see any difference with ultra, or with RT on ... the medium setting still very good too, again, I don't see any differences in this video ! 6800 stay a very good card today, for 400 euro (in France/Europe) for a XFX model, is clearly the best option today. 380 gpu + 150 cpu + 80 case + 60 ram + 100 psu + 40 cooler and maybe some fans, its actually not terrible if you had bought everything new, but seeing as it was used you shouldn’t have paid more than €670 The prices I put up there are USD and it came to be around $790 which is €735. And may I add, thats with a 6800 XT and 32Gb 3200Mhz RAM.
if you have a new 7000 series AMD would be interesting to see if there are improvement on RT side especially in a game like this, maybe a midrange card like the 7700xt, but also popular. Nice video as always
I have one of these RX 6800, TUF model. With Overclock and Undervolt, my experience with the CP77 DLC was fantastic. At 1080pUW, a custom between High and Ultra, and it was still able to send 120fps almost constantly. And with power consumption never exceeding 150W and 50ºC. Although with current games this card is slowly being permanently relocated to 1080p, it still manages to hold its own decently at 1440p.
Yay, finally an equivalent to my GPU, 7700 xt, I would always just remove some fps from a 4070, or add a bit from a 4060 ti, but now you have one that is basically the same! Also, have you ever noticed some blocky shadows in the game? They are specially noticeable in cutscenes and while driving in some cars for me, so I end up just using ray tracing shadows and quality XeSS at 1440p. With shadows and reflections, and XeSS it gets around 50fps, its the lighting that tanks it for me, putting it down to the mid 30s to low 40s. I would love if it was some problem with my game, maybe because of some mods, because if it wasn't for these shadows I'd just play raster only. It's really annoying. Anyways, rant over. 46 Celsius is awesome for the XFX card! 😲 my Sapphire RX 6800 goes to 68 Celsius during Cyberpunk which is normal. Very impressed by the low temps your getting!
Hey why do you not enable cache prefer in bios? It gets you same performance but if you need power all cores can be avaiable aswell. And the 7950X3D is a slightly bit faster because it boosts 250mHz higher in turbo.

I used to run cyberpunk at 1440p max settings and path tracing with 15-20 fps for the most part on a i5 13500 and rtx 3080 configuration. With some dlss q 30+ fps and with dlss balanced 40 fps. Prety good. In the dlc i decided to power settings to ultra ray tracing with dlss q to be more playable :)) All in all,, not a bad experience. Better than the rx6800, though at a higher cost too. Well, not anymore, i sold my pc and replaced it with a laptop :))
@@zWORMzGaming 2024 is a good year to enjoy the workarounds and not spend money on new gpu xD. I would still use the mod either way cause 144fps would be nice for my 144hz refresh rate display so imma get that value :p.
16:43 Fun fact: Many people say that they optimized the game, but that's almost 100% BS, game performance is almost the same as on launchday, people are saying that it's optimized because they finally changed their GTX 700/900 series cards. My RTX 3070 runs the game basically the same as on launchday, but I had to upgrade my CPU because performance on Ryzen 2700 went down significantly with updates.

Noone asked for, for sure, at least instead of really high frames. Better graphics its good. But 120fps+ is always better than 60. My theory is that pt was only released this gen for marketing purposes of advertising rtx 5000 series gpus.

@@kamgaming4454 Well, if you have a 1080p monitor, an overkill GPU will certainly last longer than a GPU that was designed from the start to run at 1080p. Unless the GPU simply dies at some point, as this is not uncommon.
I play Cyberpunk at 1440p with RT Ultra lighting and RT reflections with balanced xess on a 6800xt and get around 55-60 fps, if you install xess 1.3 you'll get close to 70fps with balanced xess, looks fine to me so sorry Kryzzp since a 6800 is only slightly slower than a 6800xt it is totally possible to play Cyberpunk with RT on with this card. To help eek out those extra few frames I also disable the basic settings like film grain, motion blur etc, and set volumetric fog, clouds and color precsion to medium.
It’s not a bad card but I prefer the RTX 4060 because of the rt performance and dlss with FG which looks great and you get extremely good performance for 305$ (Asus dual oc)
@@Seth-cf4jm In terms of heavy RT performance they are probably around a similar level, but in terms of rasterized performace the 6800xt blows the 4060 out the water and you get double the vram, it's not an apples to apples comparison tho as they are different tiers of gpus.

Raw raster is only half the 4070 offers, and 4070 is still 5-12% faster. So I can't say they're technically equal.
