If ever there was a purpose-built aircraft, this is it. Not set up for comfort, speed, looks or range -- just to get the job done... and it does it well. But I also think it takes a special pilot. 😏
Yes and no. As I’m sure you are aware it’s heavily aeaighted on the season. Winter was slower usually only flying for sports treats like the Tampa Bucs and Tampa bay rays. But the company I worked for would pay you if you were able to work on the plane as well since they are based out of Miami. The company is call aerial banners and they own “advertising Air Force” out of Albert whitted.

Yes I would agree with that. It is a sky tractor haha
How many Gs do you hit on the pull when you grab the banner?
Not too much honestly.. maybe a touch over 2 but I didn’t have a meter to be able to check... :p
I have towed gliders and banners in a Pawnee (235hp). Nice airplane! Is there a lot of work for banner pilots in Tampa? I am a CFII and A&P.
