I super love your videos. One opportunity for improvement here, install a chain catch. The chain line is directly behind your right leg and has terrific inertia. If the chain were to break it would whip the hell out of your leg. Maybe even seriously injuring you.
Nice stuff. But I recommend you to reinforce the saddle support. Usually you weld another small piece into the triangle part of the frame. Because you don't have any suspension, that welding is taking a lot of stress.
The wheel hub should free turn when the motor is not powering it. I didn't see that. It seemed direct. That would not allow it to free coast. Does that mean it would charge the battery??? Like a Tesla? I don't think it is that simple. Anyway very simple engineering and awesome craftsmanship. Very very nice so many skills in one person

Anyway it worked very good, but you should apply anit-shock to both tires and seat and a cover on the time and motor spot so when it rains you will not get totally web. Also if the motor's gear use a bigger ring, then the scooter can go faster without doing any major changes. If you already has a version that already fixed this problem, then I think this should be able to go for production and sales. Please let me know when you are ready for doing sale on this scooter. Thank you very much.
Классный тарантас , но вот только один минус- отсутствие подвески и амортизаторов, хотя бы сзади или ну минимум седло. Прощай спина, с катанием по лесу и кочкам.
Почему бы не сдеать почти то же самое из велосипеда? с двигателем сразу в колесе. убираем сразу механические трения самой цепи и её же растяжения. + ставим амортизирующую пневматическую вилку можно так же и сделать хороший амортизированный задний подвес, ну и гидравлические тормоза опять же убираем механику для надёжности. а всего то поменять центральную консоль рамы на нужный алюминиевый профиль типа вашего под аккумулятор. И тогда сама конструкция будет весить намного меньше а следовательно преодолевать путь на том же заряде больше.

Nice project. Dont you think that a 1000W controller will get a bit hot? It has cooling fins taped over and it gets no airflow in a closed space...

It might get hot but it's cheap and unlikely to break anytime soon.
