You guys really need to do the aftermath trilogy it’s so awesome, the characters are great, the era is awesome. It’s hard for some people to get into because the first book was kinda rushed I think and it’s in present tense. But I tell everyone I know to do the aftermath books. I’ve done that trilogy like six times

Adam Christopher: Shadows of the Sith or Kiersten White: Padawan. And don't forget to read The High Republic (2021) #1-5, because it's an amazing story that focuses on the Drengir.

With Asoka series coming you should do the Thrawn books. They are so awesome on audible too. Marc Thompson nails his voice.

What’s so cool about this book is, Mike Chen said he made it that this actually isn’t anakins first time meeting ventres and that his real first time was in the 2003 cartoon, and he framed this book around that show. There’s actually a bunch of Easter eggs of the 2003 cartoons in the book- and a great doctor who reference haha!

Making things up as we go along...
The Armorer is a Dathomirian Sourceress acting as the Royal Advisor playing both sides -- Din with the Dark Saber and Bo with the Mythosaur -- against one another. She guided Satine to take Mandalore into a subservient, pacifist state to bring Maul in and draw Darth Sidious to Mandalore. She would use their clans to take over the Galaxy, removing Palpatine from power. Rather than looking to Royal Advisors as an example, look a little closer to home - the Sith lords Darth Sidious and Darth Tyrannus. This sort of power play, guiding a powerful victim against their will, is out of Palpatine's playbook.
Palpatine cast Maul aside as his apprentice after failing and being cut in half by Obi Wan Kenobi. Her task would've been simple if it were Dooku, who killed her clan, but she sensed Palpatine was over him. Having Maul removed messed up her plans, so she was on the moon of Concordia sulking when Maul finally did show up again to draw in Kenobi and make him pay by watching his one true love die. She's one up on the Emperor. She is a smaller scale of the Senate, but only of a small faction. It is a formidable one, though.
Palpatine could've more easily been overtaken at the time. He arrived with a small entourage. He shows up, punishes Maul and his brother, and leaves without incident. The Empire attacks a few of the Mandalorian-protected worlds, and Din is rescued by DeathWatch.
Later, Maul returns again. She advises the DeathWatch Clans to follow Maul thinking the Sith will lead the Jedi and more with Darth Sidious to Mandalore. Ahsoka captures Maul, messing up her plans again. The clan splits up, and she creates The Children of the Watch, where she bides her time again.
The Armorer forces Bo-Katan to betray the rules, demonstrating that there is only one rule - absolute subservient obedience to the cult leader. But this level of transgression makes the victim even more dependent upon the leader. The setting is similar to where Dooku offered Obi-Wan an alliance when we all know evil leaders don't share power. But the power dynamics are different here, so Bo-Katan accepts it even without any reasoning beyond subservience to the cult leader's authority. Removing a helmet can't be compared to slaughtering a temple full of younglings, and the fate of Mandalore is small-scale compared to the entire universe. But it's the same sort of idea.

I LOVE THE AFTERMATH TRILOGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rising storm is hella good. Catalyst is amazing (if you do TARKIN/CATALYST/ROGUE ONE it’s a cool Death Star trilogy).
Bloodline is some wonderful leia writing with awesome characters and some great “state of the galaxy” content before force awakens. “Beware the HuttSlayer!!”
