I know someone who lives in Chesapeake Beach, MD on 3 acres. He absolutely loves it. To each their own. You could have used a different headline for your post. It almost sounds like you are directing people which could be against NAR regulations.
I used to serve court papers around here. Lots of them were in Chesapeake Beach and North Beach. Lots of empty houses on the off season. Definitely saw some backyard flooding a few times up there too Other than that, its like an even crappier version of Ocean City or something.
