As there is no historical evidence for a Jesus Christ actually existing - it actually doesn't matter whose imaginations we believe or disbelieve. Religion is a primitive vehicle for human understanding which we must move beyond - at least that is what God has told me to tell you all!

Yes, that is the point of the book. Some people preach a different Jesus than the one of the Bible.
