While calculating length of longitudinal bar, why you did not consider 90 degrees bend deductions (near development length)?

For 135° - bend is 3d
Missed to add 20mm clear cover
2×90° bend deduction missing (1 in slab and 1 in footing)

When two hooks are provided then two more bends are there but you have not included that. What is the reason?

135 degree bend ke liye 12D hota hai ..but ans kuch bhi ho lekin process acha hai ..nice 👍
Sir minimum hook and bend allowance is 75 mm so in above sum do we need to add hook and bend value to check the minimum criteria or both value should be 75 differently .
I'm in base rn and we've not been taught in much detail. So, it'd be nice if u upload an introductory video of all the components of reinforcements .

20mm jo clear cover hai vo lenght Ld me include ho gaya hai. Aur Ld ek side pe hai bas top slab me. Neeche ki 300mm length humne add kr rakhi hai.

b=300-(2×40)-(2×4)=212mm
=2(212+212)+(2×10×8)-(3×2×8)-(2×3×8)
=848+160-48-48=912mm or 0.912m
135degree bend=3d,90degree bend 2d used

that is for lateral tie, for longitudinal bar it is 40d

You didn't add length from slab bottom to middle of slab ??
i.e 120/2= 60mm

Jo slab se andar 20 mm insert I mean slab cover , o add karna parega , bcz slab ki andar 40d lapping k pehele , o bar slab ki andar se slab ki cover tak 20 mm jayegi
My concern is i m using 20 mm Tmt Bar of SAIL FE500D and Zindal Panther FE550D by mistaken after slab casting i found 6 out of 12 bars of Column Reinforcing Bars are just 550 mm left for overlaping and another 6 bars of 1100 mm this problem happens in stilt floor lenter and i m constructing stilt plus four floor kindly give me the solution Kindly Revert

During calculation lenght of bar there are 4 bend of 90 degree and should minus 2D....
During stripis there are also bend 2 bend of 135 degree......

Respected Sir,
In the portion of length of longitudinal , I think there is a mistake.
While taking total length of the column
You forget to took the slab thickness.
The length of longitudinal bar will be
=(3000+300+1000)-(60+12+12)+(300+40*25+20)
=5.536 M
You didn't took the bar of slab portion
Please Let Me Know If I am Correct or Not

Bhai you added only 3000+300+1000 but there is also 120 mm slab hight
Please will tell why you neglected that hight.

Sir I think you forgot to deduct two 90* bends and forgot to add the clear cover length of the slab in longitudinal bars...

Bhai roof top and footing pe milake 4d = 4*25 =100mm deduction hoga wo tumne chhor dia or 20mm ke cover tumne add nahi kia
What is the no of bend in stirrups?
Total weight is in KG , make change in the BBS format it's written Kg/m

Development length sirf 1 bar ki calculate KR rh h voh. Isiliya 1 time 40D+300 liya hai.
It is For 1 bar calculation
Because he is calculating total length for a single bar and a single bar is having only two bent parts ie 40 D for upper part and 300 mm for the lower one .
bend deduction kyu nhi consider kia hai?
