What the purpose they put 2 thermostat . I have sentra 19 also have 2 thermostat inlet 82 degree and another is like you showing in your video 95 degree ? Another question i live in hot country and i want cancel one the outlet 95 degree what u say about that???
I wouldn't cancel a thermostat it's there for a reason. I'm not sure why they use 2 thermostats. My guess would be to bring the engine up to operating temperature as quickly as possible.
This is helpful, but I think the inlet is at the front with the water pump, and the outlet is at the back. The parts diagram from Nissan calls that first part you show "water outlet" on my cube (same engine family as this Sentra engine). Interestingly, you can't buy the water outlet for the cube and Versa that had the 1.8-liter version of this engine. They're no longer in production. The aftermarket is not making one, either. Thankfully, all gaskets and the thermostats are cheap.
If your thermostat is stuck closed yeah it will overheat. If it's suck open it's not going to reach operating temperature. No heat can also be from dated antifreeze or heater core issues.
There's 2 thermostats, primary and secondary. Both are in the video that you watched. I'm not sure what motor you have. This video was done on a 2.0 motor
Hi, I would like to ask if anyone can figure it out. There is a hose connected to CVT on the housing. I wonder if the water is flowing INTO the water pump from CVT or flowing OUT from Water Pump to CVT. Thanks in advance (I am referring to the housing next to pully)
Apparently there’s a third one inside that coolant tube that runs across the front of the motor and transmission into that transmission cooler/cylinder on the side. Let me now if you end up finding a replacement, I can’t find one.
Good video! Really helpful with the engine out of the car.
Me suscribo, presente cordial saludo desde Navoyork Sonora México

The top one spring goes out into housing and bottom one spring going inside?
They only fit one way to bolt in properly. Top spring should go inside motor. I didn't remove bottom, but spring should be facing outward.

weird when i buy it it's the water inlet and even the thermostat is called water inlet valve...
Does a Nissan M urano 2009 have two thermostats in it and can that cause your car to not have heat and overheating
Not sure never worked on a murano. Not sure what motor is in that vehicle.

Do you have a video on how to remove the other thermostat that is located next to the dipstick?

that's just a cooler with a filter inside...take out 4 10mm and the filter is in there.
What happens when one of the thermostat feils
Engine runs hot
If it's stuck closed.
Is this the 2.5L or 3.5L
2.0
