for those don't getting what Emma means with no Male Pegasus Knight since she's from Hoshido another land from Archanea and Valentia she's talking about Pegasi breeds which are female only in other continents while Tenmas/Falicorns which are Hoshidan/Nohrian breeds can go with anyone as explained from Subaki and Selenas Revelation support.

Firecraft 703 To my understanding the only thing broken is you can give their unique weapons to other units who can use them much better. Otherwise they are comparable to other mid- high tier character but not crazy top tier.

That's why Emma was curious to know why there's a rule against male pegasus knights since she was a Hoshidan one from the cipher cards.

It’s explained in Selena's convo with Subaki. The Pegasi from that region aren’t as "picky" about their riders, so men can choose to become Sky Knights. However, Pegasi from the other regions will only allow a pure hearted maiden to be their rider, which basically means only girls. Since Emma is from Hoshido, she didn’t know that their Pegasi were an exception to the rules.
