I can appreciate the low rider community,
Not only is the low rider community’s the first to lend a helping hand and or volunteer to help or give back to its communities
But they help keep memory of American classic cars alive
Not my personal favorite in this car but I can respect and acknowledge all the work put into this ride
First to give back to their community, that's a stretch
To build that same car today in this market is well over $100,000
All of that engraving alone is expensive.
Facts
They got a gem, but they know a little about it
Love the paint job on this
The best color combo in my eyes gold everything
For those who know nothing about lowriders, I could go into the history, but I don't have the time. The car has a full frame wrap (reinforcement) which is done so the infrastructure can withstand the movement from the power of the hydraulics and the twisting of the dip just below the rear arches when it three wheels, among other things. It has extended and reinforced upper and lower a-arms with the bottom deep cups with thicker front springs. The belly has also been reinforced. It appears to be a "lay and play" set up, but those reinforcements have been done so if the owner wants to upgrade the car to be a "street hopper" and/or to do a decent three wheel, the support is already done. The car probably also has polyurethane motor mounts as well. I might have forgot some things, but that's what I can see.
Appreciate the extra information, we don't get many lowriders in the shop!
@@uniqueclassiccars No problem! It's probably a lay and play set up. It would need a rear dual chain bridge, reinforced and extended rear trailing arms, the rear axle reinforced and the rear quarters to be fiberglassed for it to be a full fledge street hopper/three wheel lowrider. Not sure the size of the rear cylinders though.
If I were to buy that car I would invest the extra dough and make it into a street hopper and take to a professional lowrider expert and make the car what it truly should be. From the video it looks like it needed more power it could of barely do side to side or the dip. But I've was always fascinated by lowriders peice of art work and craftsmanship that tells a story in a car. That someone built and it shows in the paint 🎨 and in the interior. Definitely a awesome car culture.
It looks like Yardie Lobo from GTA 3
All Pimps call today. Your new ride awaits. LOL
Why in the hell would you buy this to resell, or take in as a trade??
Darn that’s a clean ride!
ONE SWEET GOLD PLATED CAPRICE CLASSIC
Frame off restoration done by Todd at streelife hydraulics in Phoenix AZ gold plating and engraving Dakota digital dash was known as "Brandy On The Rocks"
The builder of that car spent a grip to make it look like that not my taste but I respect it 💯
Cool
It would look nice with 22 inch forgios!
😮😂😂
And a straight stearing wheel.
The front tires seem to be wearing funny, might need a alignment
The front upper and lower a-arms have a 2" extension. That's part of the suspension altering of a lowrider. It's so when you "drop the ass" as we say and raise the front end, you won't have any issues. It's also for the look as well.
Anything for Selena!
i remember seeing a lot of these in the 80s after the lifted style with gangster whitewalls
THE GLASSHOUSE CAPRICE
Nice Donk! Yeeeaaaa boooooyyy 😎
It's not a Donk sir! A Donk is a car with at least 22" (and even bigger) wheels. This is a lowrider. A true lowrider has 13" wheels, 14" max.
i like high riding donks way better
@@canibusnj Thanks for the heads up, I stand corrected!
No thanks. If it were stock I'd be interested
That poor poor car. I had one blue white white vinyl roof. Whe called it the scallywag.
what just because you not into it dont knock it you couldn't even most likely afford to buy the shell
@@Detroitmuscle74 as always, you're right.
Who went to prison?
LMFAO
@@michaelwhite2823 If it's an old Lincoln or Cadillac I ask who passed away. LOL
A cholo
S🤬MEB🤬DY G🤬T RAIDED...
ROFLMAO
What travesty😢. I had a 76 Caprice estate wagon witch was a beautiful car to make a Lowrider out of any car especially those classics is simply disgusting.
