Of course, the thrifted frames must be painted and distressed for my liking. I'm putting a piece of wall border on top of a small rectangle table that I spray painted black. I maybe putting the table outside under a covered porch. Do I have to seal the top of border from the weather and if so, what do I use?...The table is sealed with clear coat. ...Your border frames came out great 😊.

That sounds beautiful Rose! I would give it a coat of clear coat or two in case of spills or to prolong the look from too much fading. I would use my rustoleum clear sealer. It just gives an extra layer of protection.
