I just discovered your channel a little over a week ago when I searched for Primitive Country decor ideas. I love your videos and how you put things together.
Still love my Prim decor, lol! I KEEP saying Im going to switch to a more farmhouse with rustic thrown in BUT, I still get that flutter in my chest and my heart beats a little faster with excitement when I see Primitive decor! Lol! Ive been doing Prim for a good 20 years now and even though its not HUGE in the decor world, I still just love it, I dont know what it is! I have a booth in an antique mall that started because I would figure out how to make my own Prim decor by messing around and back then I found maybe 2-3 blogs that had Primitive tutorials, but there was NOT many and most of them are GONE today unfortunately because the ones that were around back then were really great...Prim decor is and always has been so expensive that I had to figure out how to do it myself, lol! Sooo, its funny to see people now on YT either making prim decor or using some of the same techniques I had to figure out on my own or with such little help that Id use part of something I read on a blog, but kept messing with it until it looked even better....grunge is one of those things, lol! Ive been using cinnamon for so long that the maintenance guys refer to my apartment as the "potpourri" apartment, lol! Men are so funny, I was like Potpourri?? I havent seen that stuff since like the 80s when I was a kid and my mom had it in a bowl, lol! Its just cinnamon and clove...lol! But I guess its just easier to say potpourri, lol! Love the canister, Ill def have to check out the Etsy shop, I had a folder of labels I had made a while back when I got a trial for some free editing website thing that you could try the premium for like a week or whatever....but when I had computer issues, I lost the flippn labels, gahhhh!!!! And it took me HOURS to create the labels, I also never saved a hard copy just in case, to print copies off of, lesson learned lol, sooo I lost them all and just never had the patience to make more. Plus I was just over it after I lost everything...so thank you for offering to others what you already made, it makes it SO much easier =)
That is how I started. I fell in love with primitive decor, but it was too expensive and I slowly figured out how to do my own. Most of the time the technique never changes, it just evolves. That is a bummer about your labels. Computers can be finicky and when I have trouble it is frustrating for sure. I had a lady buy some items while I was at my booth yesterday that just switched over to primitive decor and she had the same look in her eye while we were talking. I could tell she caught the primitive bug. Lol
Love the labels I use old paper napkins and modge podge them on my items thanks for sharing always love your videos love the tiny basket so cute 💕💕💕👋🇨🇦
I love how these all came out. I am not sure if you have ever tried adding alittle coffee grunge mix or even a few sprinkles of instant coffee to your modge podge but it make a beautiful look and antiques and distressed in one go.
Wow! So pretty. Love all of these. You're so clever. Hopefully I'll get internet out here and I can get a computer and a printer to download stuff and print. Argh! Soon I hope! So many ideas.
So excited about the downloads...definitely buying but need my granddaughter's purchasing....how can I share with you after I finish my projects I have planned?
It is Tim Holtz distressing spray, already made. I put a link in the description to it if you are interested in it. I usually use watered-down antiquing wax to do the same thing.

Will cardboard boxes actually sell in your booth or are these for your own decor? They look great!
Well I don’t know. I have sold some of the bigger square ones, but I have these on my Etsy shop for purchase right now.
Hi do you make that spray? Distressed spray
It is Tim Holtz distressing spray. Sold already made. I usually use watered down antique wax to do the same thing.
