One of the best camera tutorials I’ve seen yet on RUclips. And I like how you were thorough in everything, including showing the inside of the camera without the lens on. So many people act like it’s Armageddon if the lens is off more than a few seconds. Dust is inevitable and is already everywhere. Only way you’re not going to get it on anything is to never actually use your camera. Thanks again for an awesome video!

After Leica, Pentax may be only company in the planet to introduce Monochrome version of K3 at a reasonable price. Also loaded with amazing features. I am An old Canon camper of last 40 years. Sold and selling all my Canon stuff and fully devoted to Pentax Monochrome. Any one serious about photography, it has to be Black & White except nature photography...Pentax addressed need of million serious armatures who can't even dream about Leica, insane prices.

How has that k3 iii mono been? I'm looking to get back into pentax and debating on the normal k3iii or mono

I simply don't like color photography. That is the reason sold all my Canon stuff.
Do you like color or B&W? If color, your question is irrelevant.

I can't listen to it without commenting, SR was, I repeat was, a great advantage of Pentax for many years. But other companies have not only created their systems within a few years, but they are even better than what Pentax offers us here. As an 18-year-old pentaxian, I notice this issue.

Great overview! It will need to be updated to cover the new features added with firmware updates, like additional colour modes (satobi and miyabi) and Astrotracer 3. :)

Beautiful camera and a lot new added functions which would be great to have on my K1ii but I like very much my K1ii and I won’t switch :P. And unfortunately or fortunately I don’t need second camera (heh maybe some cheaper one like KP or K70 for trips on bike, but I can handle K1 for those trips but need to drive more carefully, it’s little heavy with my favorite dfa * 50)

Thanks for the detailed tutorial, this model is quite different from the original K3 that I am still using, there are lot of changes on the menu. Since I don't have this camera I don't know if it can be controlled and preset via computer, to save time digging into the rather complicated menu.

A very helpful overview of how my new K-3 iii works. Do you have any plans for writing a book based on your videos? It would make a great reference for those who would like to study the camera menu options in a more deliberate manner. Thanks for your consideration.

Thank you for the review, but there is one thing that concerns me and I can't find an answer: off-camera flash. My K-5 had a pop-up that I used as a control to fire my 540FGZ remotely. Can the K-3 use a shoe mounted flash for the same purpose and do I need another 540 or can I use the cheeper 201FG as the control? If you have any ideas or suggestions I would be greatful.

Although this tutorial is excellent you speak so fast it’s tough to have time to absorb the data in real time. I’m on my third time watching and pausing to take notes . This is an awesome camera
