Whatever music you are into the main thing is you are purchasing something physical rather than streaming where the music is owned by the streaming company. You are well on the way to building a decent collection! Also keep in mind that the reason you like a song is because that is your personal taste and not because the song is a 'hit'. There are many popular songs out there that are not so great!!
Well, I'm a little older than you Miss. But let me give you my TOP 5. LIGHTNING STRIKE # 5 ST "Romeo and Juliet" (1968) LIGHTNING STRIKE # 4 ST "Oliver Twist" (1968) LIGHTNING STRIKE # 3 "Mickey Mouse Disco" (1979) LIGHTNING STRIKE # 2 "Cats" (1983) And first some HONORABLE MENTIONS that didn't quite make the list. Warm Applause # 5 "Men of the Mall" (1959) Great Marching Band! Warm Applause # 4 JUDY COLLINS "Recollections" (1972) Warm Applause # 3 MONKEES "Best Of" (1976) You were so close guys! Warm Applause # 2 RITA COOLIDGE "Love Me Again" (1978) So close Rita! Warm Applause # 1 ST "Arthur" (1981) And a great film too Dudley! And now the record you needed on 8 TRACK, CD, and Vinyl LP! 🔥 You needed the LP at home and the CD while driving. 🔥 It needed not one, but 2 records to hold the power. 🔥 It smashed every WOKE and PC rule . 🔥 They said it couldn't be done. This album said: "Hold my beer." 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ST "Saturday Night Fever" (1977) 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
0:24 me too Meg…who bought all 4 variants of the Tortured Poets Department because they each had a different bonus track and where Taylor…it’s me hi I’m the problem it’s me 😂
Hey Megan, I love your vinyl unboxing videos, just started getting into your chanell! LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! some tips for new CD and vinyl collectors: I want to start collecting CD's because vinyls is a VERY expensive habit! So if anybody wants to collect vinyls and CD's i would reccomend buying your favourite album/artist on vinyl and then anything for CD's as they are around £12 or less (sometimes more!)
Bought 6 2nd hand 7" singles this week from ebay with B sides of music that I don't have on CD/digital or on my 12" vinyl. They were £3.50 to £5.50. Been collecting for 35 years and much my music was bought from a shop at anything from 2nd hand from 50p to £4. They still play fine after all these years when looking after them. I have many coloured vinyl in different colours and some semi transparent but not a marbled one. White, Red, Yellow and Blue are my favourites. Picture discs will not sound as good as regular records. The grooves are shallower plus has the picture and then a laminate over the top. They are more of a display disc.
Ur lucky you were able to get vinyl for such a good deal they’ve gotten so expensive now 😅 I’ve been lucky, all my picture discs have sounded perfect when played but I know some people have had some issues
In the UK it’s very hard to come by, Conan’s vinyl are almost non-existent in the UK! I’ve heard that it’s in some stores in the US! So for someone whose British it’s very very rare 😅
@MeganWakefield that sucks because there are many great artists from the UK but a lot of famous artists that I’ve heard of are from the US so that really sucks I hope you have better luck in the future and get fair pricing

So jealous of that Weeknd album. In case you don’t know, he’s coming out with a live album on record store day. I’m definitely looking to get one.
