      We don't have a video on using a dummy cell. But in any of our potentiostat user guides we have a dummy cell experiment.

      In general you use the dummy cell to test whether the potentiostat is reproducing physics. In the simplest case you would hook up one side of a resistor to your working electrode lead and the other side of the resistor to the counter and reference leads (shorted together), creating a 2-electrode configuration. If you were to do a cyclic voltammetry experiment (current vs potential curve) you should get a straight diagonal line where the slope of the line is equal to the resistance of your resistor based on Ohms law.
