Very clear, detailed and useful!
love the headset btw ! :D
Good to see you Tarek :)
hello sir, would you like to make a video about chronopotentiometry? thanks
Yes. I'm thinking about chronoamperometry first. But chronopotentiometry is on the list. Thank you!
yes sir honestly i am so confused about chronopotentiometry usage on a battery and there is no other sources better than your channel, your help would really be appriciated
Is it possible to modify the CV parameter values in the middle of a CV experiments?
For example, I wanna increase the no. of sweeps during the experiment, then how can I do that? I did not find any option in the aftermath software to modify the parameters during the running of an experiment.
Currently, there is no way to adjust the CV parameters in the middle of an experiment. Once the parameters are set the potentiostat will perform them, but can't be changed on the fly.
@@Pineresearch Thank you for the reply.
How could I get the Archive file, for learning purpose? In the software I downloaded it says corrupted.
Hello, first regarding the software, I have just checked and from our end it appears there is no problem with the AfterMath installation file. Can you be more specific about what problems you're having? Are you able to download the *.msi install file from the website at all? Is the file you downloaded corrupted, or are you just unable to install the software on your machine?
Second, I may be able to send you a sample archive file to test things out but of course that requires you have the software working first. Also, I would need an email to interact with for transferring files. Please feel free to email us at pinewire@pineresearch.com and we can figure out how to get you going.
Hi there. Is this software free in Canada? I cant download in from link you shared. Thanks for all of your videos.
The software download should be free, you just need to create an account which is also free. If you didn't create an account and log in, then you won't be able to download the software.
@@Pineresearch Thank you very much. Is there an option in the software to calculate the Tafel slope from CA and also calculate ECSA? I would appreciate it if you could refer me to the instructional videos you have.
@@parastoomouchani2888 AfterMath does have tools that allow you to calculate Tafel slopes and calculate ECSA, however it's not a simple button press to get that calculation. You would need to do some manipulation of the data and us things like the baseline and area tools to determine things like the Tafel slope and ECSA. We don't have an exact video on performing these calculations but we do a livestream on Friday's at 1 pm EST where you can ask us anything about electrochemistry and we will try to answer your question.
@@Pineresearch Thank you for the quick response. It sounds great. I'll definitely participate.
How to install Aftermath for 64 bit systems?
Currently, we only have a 32 bit version of AfterMath, which can be installed on 64 bit operating systems. However, we are hoping to have a 64 bit version of AfterMath released in the future...I'm crossing my fingers its later this year.
After downloading the software many options are not working. Kindly provide us the link for full access.
Hello Shahid. What specific options are not working? Do you have a Pine Research potentiostat?
I download aftermath from the link you provide. It required a license I think. I got the following message.
No licensed features are unlocked.
Brother, thank you for your reply.
@@shahidahmad7803 Not a problem. So should only need to create an account on our website (free) to download AfterMath. You should be able to import data and do things like circuit fitting, but without a Pine Research potentiostat you won't be able to perform any experiments. I hope this helps.
@@Pineresearch Ok then, how can I get Pine Research potentiostat?
Thanks
Can I use this software for free? Or can I only download it for free?
Yes, you can download our software for free off our website. You only need to create an account, which is also free.
Can't do circuit fit
Can you tell us what problem you're having? Which version of AfterMath are you using, and how are you having trouble with circuit fit, is the option not available to you? Have you tried importing data properly? We have an article that shows how to import EIS data here: pineresearch.com/shop/kb/software/software-help-and-support/using-aftermath/aftermath-import-procedure/, and if you are having trouble you can email us at pinewire@pineresearch.com as well.
Hello, can we download this software for free?
Yes you can. Go to pineresearch.com/shop/knowledge-category/downloads/ and you can download it for free. You might need to create an account on our website, but that is also free.
