In reality, if you actually want more grip, just go do a real workout in a gym or start climbing (which is the absolute best way to train grip strenght)

      2. I was a trainer for 10 years and believe it or not some people have injuries and disabilities and can't actually even make a fist.......so these exercises are really good. Some people struggle to dress and feed themselves for various reasons so you can imagine driving is probably a tough time too.
      3. That last exercise would work for anyone..... but if you actually read #2 you'd realize not everyone can hold a dumbell or hang off a bar. Some people are lucky to turn a doorknob...but you're here talking about climbing 😅

      I'll try to reply to you without making it too long so hopefully i won't miss to much, but what i mostly get is that you think some exercises can be good for rehabilitation, and i agree. But rehabilitation and muscle gain aren't quite the same. The guy who made the video is clearly not aiming at people who need rehab, he wants to promote à healty lifesteal and his idea that (this is gonna sound stupid but i'm just quoting him from another video) "muscle don't necesseraly make you strong" and that "you can be strong without gaining muscle". He lacks some fundamental knowledge about how training works and is trying to pass that flawed knowledge he has to his audience.

      @@vincentbertrand2392 you assume I don't have experience after I literally just stated that I do? Interesting thought process.
      My comment is about this video so if you'd like to change the subject about claims made in other videos then you're going to have to strike up that conversation with someone else. This video isn't about muscle hypertrophy, it's about grip strength so let's stay on topic maybe?
      I would hope someone as experienced as yourself can also understand that there are varying schools of thought and there are many paths that can lead to the same results and quite frankly.this is very much NOT a body building or fitness modeling page, in case you were under the impression that it is.
      The gentleman in the video does not claim to be some sort of expert and if you're looking to debate about gaining muscle then you're definitely on the wrong page.

      If it doesn’t cause you vision or balance issues, you might watch your hands through the full movement of each exercise. This helps with eye tracking and proprioception (your body coordinating movement with vision and knowing where it’s parts are in space) which will help fine and gross motor skills.

    I’ve been incorporating these into my workout routine, getting quite a few stares at the gym but they definitely work! My forearms were really sore (the good sore thankfully) after my first day and after doing them ever day for five days, I have noticed an improvement in my grip! My only thing is if you have knobby/bony fingers and/or thumbs, be careful or wear gloves because my thumb joints have been getting pretty close to blistering and it’s cut my sets short. Apart from that, solid advice! Thanks for sharing!
    (Edit: the blisters are from the pinch grip, I’ve been doing 3 stets of 10 reps spinning (like a car tire) rubber 10lb bar weights and the friction is what causes the blister, should have clarified, my bad lol)

      Flexing it isn't gonna do anything. U need some sort of resistance if u want it to actually do anything. It only feels like it's doing something cuz ur flexing and it's getting u a pump. Like flexing ur chest would feel good but wouldn't do anything for muscle/strength building. Other 2 were good though

    • @sma4827
      @sma4827 Год назад +1

      @@jeffreycinto3219 that's just factually untrue. unweighted isocentric holds are maybe not as effective as dynamic resistance training to build muscle mass but they work pretty dang well at working your slow twitch (endurance) muscle fibres which are less dense but just as if not more important. Physiotherapists often use these exercises as a starting point for building the muscle to correct their patient's biomechanical movements (ie. I'm in physio to correct scapular winging caused by thoracic outlet syndrome and one exercise I've been doing every day is rolling my shoulders back and down and holding it there for as long as I can to build endurance in my serratus and lower traps. Since good posture requires good muscle endurance, training isometric holds are incredibly important.) Only after holding these positions for long duration of time gets too easy should you be introducing weights or resistance.

    Wrists extensors and flexors really participate to a great grip because ppl dont know the muscular insertion. Yeah it goes to forarms but also into your fingers. Everything is connected, that s the beauty.

    According to the Los Angelos Public Library, the book “The Fault in our Stars” is described like this. “The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is a young adult fiction novel that narrates the story of a 16-year-old girl who is diagnosed with cancer. She joins a support group where she meets Augustus, and there is a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this novel as the relationship between Hazel and Augustus develops. Hazel and Augustus are able to find comfort in each other through the tough times and learn to lean into each other which makes them both realize that they are not alone. They find love in each other and feel hopeful for each other, also while allowing the readers to learn about their inner struggles.”
