I have this Dyson blow dryer and the comb attachment and I LOVE IT! but it’s def not a necessity... totally a luxury item... and I totally agree with you, if you only blow dry your hair once or twice a year skip this but I blow dry quite often so I get TONS of use and my hair comes out amazing everything 😊
I've learnt with hair dryers that honestly you may have to spend quite a bit to get a good one that lasts long and allows you to be in control of how much heat you want to apply. I've just ordered mine after many months of contemplating, can't wait to give it a go! I got my comb attachment for free as I ordered it from the Dyson site

I know the 20% off one we usually get during the holiday season works on Dyson (unless they change it this year). I know a few people on reddit who got this blow dryer for less than $100 because they used a whole bunch of points and the 20% off coupon.
My son has MUCH longer hair than me and his is natural.(we never cut it and he cut off 6 inches when he was 18, it looked not different and it grew back too fast for his taste so, he never did it again. I love comb attachments because it helps me to be less awkward blowdrying my hair. I blow dry my own hair once or twice per year because I can't manage a separate brush,otherwise,one of my daughters does it for me. If I could afford a Dyson,I would definitely use the comb attachment. Please share about the Dyson brush. It's good to have honest reviews to avoid buyer's remorse. Thanks for sharing Amber.
I have this dryer with the comb attachment. It does not dry hair bone straight for 4c hair but I find it works fast on the lowest heat setting and gets it as straight as a blow dryer ought to. I do find that it gets awfully hot on the highest heat setting. I also find that I have to clean the filter of this dryer more frequently too. I also find it to be very ergonomic. Other dryers were a pain to use on my 4c hair, even with other comb attachments (I am recently going natural). No one makes a comb attachment as strong as this one. If I run into a knot in my hair, the comb never pulled off the dryer. I will just stop and comb out the knot and it is fine-too much heat in one point of the hair is not good. All in all... I think this dryer was worth the investment.
My hair type is the same as yours but not as long or thick, so after watching your demonstration, I’m totally convinced that I need this dryer in my life! Now to try and get it in purple!💜

She did have to re-set each section. I think if her hair was still wet and sectioned and all she had to do was let down and spray in the leave in it may have taken less time. But that is great timing for her hair.

honestly for me i loveeee it i have 3c curls and i can blow it out straight but poofy (kind of like the above video) in 20 mins but to get it smooth it doesnt get hot enough and you need to go over your hair with a flat iron for sure. i just try to limit extreme heat on my hair, which the blow drier claims to do, so i blow it out and then i can straighten my hair on a lower heat as well with heat protectant. so far ive had good results and less breakage! it wont get it super sleek though, more so for speed and not damaging the hair as much
I have very thick hair but not curly and I like it because my arms get sore trying to to it with a brush and blow dryer so the airwrap makes it easier and I can actually give myself a blowout.i could never do it with a blow-dryer and a round brush. I also can wash and style my wigs now which is great

I know this is an older video and tool, but with this brand coming out with new attachments and options, it would be very helpful if you shared an updated video with your feedback about your true real opinion for the air wrap brush-like attachment. It’s such an expensive tool and I’ve already wasted money on the RevAir dryer (waaaay too big for home use), and would love to know if this is really worth the money, and the pros and cons.

I personally love my Dyson hair dryer, it's the only hair dryer I ever use because it doesn't heat up to the point that I get drench in sweat. It also super powerful so it blow dries my hair super fast. Sound wise it's not super/annoyingly loud. Honestly worth spending the money on it (I don't use any attachments cause I have naturally straight hair)

I purchased my Dyson blow-dryer a few years ago for $75 (After the big Black Friday sale, used my birthday Gift Card, and my Ulta Points). I received the wide-tooth attachment a few months ago for free when my wide nozzle split. Your hair looks great. It is a great investment.
Don't put that energy into the Universe or you will attract what you ask for. Instead try saying, I will enjoy my new dyson hair when I use it on my hair. In other words, speak it into being! It will come.
I love my Purple Dyson, I said "ain't no way I'm paying $400 for a hair dryer" I did. Affirm will let you make payments, Ulta and QVC also will let you make payments. Dyson will also let you make payments. I'm not saying that you gotta buy a Dyson, but you will not be disappointed if you do. I had 6 months to pay-off my Dyson and I paid it off in 3 months and then went back and got the Air/Heat/Humidifier (still making payments on this one) and when I finish plan on getting a Dyson vacuum cleaner. The point is Invest in yourself. If you don't like it you can always return it, but I don't think you will want to.

Gosh I love my Dyson. The Dyson is a huge investment but so worth it. My texture is 3B (hate hair typing but no other way to describe it) and other dryers always left my hair feeling dry but the Dyson is different. It drys quicker and my hair retains the moisture. Lol I bought the comb attachment as I though it would be quicker than using a brush and promptly forgot I had it until I saw this video : )
Your hair is so effing beautiful. I’m kinda jealous that your hair dried while you were talking to us in that first part. I am taking into consideration that you were sorting in front of some lights but damn if I left my hair down just to set it would take two days… ok maybe I’m over exaggerating a bit. But really if I wash my hair in the middle of the day today, and leave it down to air dry it will still be wet tomorrow night. Not soaking wet but it would still be damp and would looked jacked up.

There’s 4 settings cold 28°c , 60°c gentle drying , 80°c regular drying and , 100°c fast drying

Did the attachment come with the blow dryer or sold separately?
The other brush for the Dyson airwrap is probably going to work better for you. The one you have attached is for fine thin hair.

I use a product called "Curl Mix" it's a four step product and I seemed to have found my perfect combo with their product. Sorry, they don't ship out of the USA "YET" but they have me loving my curls and that Dyson. I have not used my Afro Pic yet as I am loving my curls from the WNG (Wash and Go's) Keep up the excellent job you are doing and I shall be watching your success. Namaste Queen!
You should try the dyson airwrap with the smoothing brush ! It’s awesome !
Gosh I love my Dyson. The Dyson is a huge investment but so worth it. My texture is 3B (hate hair typing but no other way to describe it) and other dryers always left my hair feeling dry but the Dyson is different. It drys quicker and my hair retains the moisture. Lol I bought the comb attachment as I though it would be quicker than using a brush and promptly forgot I had it until I saw this video : )
Your hair is so effing beautiful. I’m kinda jealous that your hair dried while you were talking to us in that first part. I am taking into consideration that you were sorting in front of some lights but damn if I left my hair down just to set it would take two days… ok maybe I’m over exaggerating a bit. But really if I wash my hair in the middle of the day today, and leave it down to air dry it will still be wet tomorrow night. Not soaking wet but it would still be damp and would looked jacked up.
