Pre-marital sex is also a sin. People get so upset with Christians when they don't condone homosexual sex, but (true) Christians also condemn pre-marital sex, and a whole host of other behavior. Don't like all these rules? Fine, continue living in sin, don't let Jesus save you, don't meet with the Lord in the after life. It's your choice. But leave the people who choose otherwise alone.
You sound like you’re deflecting.. Premarital sex is a sin.. However if a man and a woman are dating and are having sex ,and eventually get married they can still live a Christian life . However if a homosexual couple gets married they will continue to live in sin . God will not except this according to the Bible.
@@pozmarciv The bottom line when it comes to sin is repentance, which is turning away from sin. The couple who has pre- marital sex and then gets married could indeed repent and earnestly turn from sin. The proof will be in their fruit. Is it obvious that they have turned from sin and are now following Christ? With regards to homosexuality, partaking is sin and unless the person turns from that sin they are not saved. However, let's be very careful about our judgement. There are plenty of sins I earnestly repent from, but later repeat. For example, I have lied, been jealous, gossipped. I earnestly repent but I would be lying that that I never sin again after repenting. God knows our heart and knows whether we are truly repenting in our heart. Lastly, there are people who have same sex attraction but choose not to partake because they know it is a sin and choose to repent. It is possible. But let's be compassionate and understand that although homosexuality is a sin, we are all sinners, and our sin is just as distasteful to God as our neighbor's

One thing that came to my mind is something my family always says-your feelings are your greatest liars. I was just having a conversation with a friend about this. She is a believer, but she thinks that if it’s Gods plan for people to love who they love, that’s what they’ll do. She gave me the example of what I would think of someone who was a strong Christian and followed God’s plan, but was unhappy in their marriage and felt God was pushing them in the direction of being gay. I didn’t say this (it was an afterthought), but I think you need to think about why the marriage is unhappy. Are there problems that can be solved? Can the relationship be mended? And don’t forget that I’m most cases, divorce is also a sin. I told my friend that the Bible says it is a sin, and this culture should not be normalized. And if this person (in the scenario)was a true believer, they would try to stay on the path of living a life in God’s image. God would not be pushing one of his children in the direction of sinning. I told my friend that if the person was a Christian, they may be misinterpreting the word or ignoring the parts that say being homosexual is a sin. It is our job as Christians to point people in the direction of God and lovingly share with them the knowledge that we have on certain subjects, such as this one. And in this day and age, it will be a challenge, especially with how much support the LGBTQ community it getting. Thank you for reading this!
Edit: one more thing my friend said is that “the Bible was written a long time ago, so maybe God kind of decided to let people be gay”. I told her that the Bible was written over a span of 1500 years or so, by over 40 different people. The writers did not get together and plan out what they would say. If all of that stuff they wrote is still true today and it’s all perfectly connected, why would it change? Does that mean God coming back for us will change too? Also, God is eternal. He never began and he will never end. Somebody like that will not change his mind.(ps I am not trying to bully my friend. I love her soo much, and I am sharing my experiences to try and help others)
I have a friend that’s gay, and I’ve seen him act on those feelings (primarily hugging), but he’s told me that they’ve also done the unspeakable (if you know what I mean).
Here’s the kicker: they both claim to be Christian, which, obviously makes no sense, because acting upon homosexual feelings and tendencies is very sinful.
At some point, maybe I could talk about this subject with this friend? I know for a fact that he and his former (or on-and-off) partner would say that the Bible misinterprets homosexuality, or that is taken out of context.

We are all sinners collectively through our representatives, Adam and Eve's disobedience, and rebellion, and now with our sinful nature. We received a sinful nature from Adam, since every person is related to Adam. In one sense, all sins, even small ones, are equal, as they all separate us from a holy and perfect God and a violation of the character and righteousness of God.
At the same time, some sins are considered greater than others, as we have viewed and experienced in modern day, and the history of crimes committed. It’s one thing to steal a pack of gum from a store, but it’s a different thing to kidnap a child. Do we really believe Scripture and the Lord, as the perfect Judge, would punish these two offenses the same?
There are over twenty different degrees of sinfulness, punishment, and or reward references in the New Testament. There are additionally twenty plus sins that deserve the death penalty while other sins don't deserve the death penalty. So there’s a clear distinction in God’s law, judgement and justice. Some sins are greater than others.
Many sins have different consequences and punishments. Some sins result in greater harm to others and the impact is more life-altering. It's obvious that a lot of sins are worse than others and are judged accordingly.

I really hope this channel checks out Jon Harris, "Conversations that matter" on this topic. Everything about homosexuality, like desire, lust, orientation, attraction IS SIN. The issue is the Heart. Mathew 5. You don't need to act out murder for it to be sinful. If you have the orientation, desire, lust, attraction, it IS SIN.
Straight Bible preachers and believers must feel lucky and blessed to come straight. Not fair for the homosexuals. Life's not fair though. This man in the video is most likely straight... I see the enthusiasm in his face saying all these.

I like men, and it’s tough for me. No one could tell or know that I’m a homo unless I told them because I act masculine like I should. But it’s a battle on the inside. It’s unfortunate, and I wish I could fight this sin off. I did a thing I regret, now evil spirits laugh at me and throw my past and struggles in my head every-now and then. I felt like in order to stop wanting to be with a guy I could just say I’ll be celibate that way I eliminate the sin. But it just doesn’t work….and makes me fall short even more. I don’t what to do besides Ask Jesus for forgiveness and help. But I failed him many times and I don’t what I could do to convince him I truly want help…..because I do. But apart of me feels like God thinks I’m tricking him so I can do what I want, but I don’t. But I don’t how I could show him….and I just feel like a failure. If there was ever a way the soul could get pruned before it even came to earth, I would’ve consider it because I feel worthless in Gods eyes. And I don’t want him to be furious with me in the end. I truly want help in this area of sin

When you first had faith in Christ in your heart you were sealed and justified from that day forward, no matter what you do or don’t do our Lord has saved your soul and made you a new creation. Eternal Security (100% Going to Heaven)
This is isn’t a license to sin, it’s a realization that God gave you the best gift ever by saving your soul from hell.
Your old habits of sin go away over time when you walk with the Lord. No one is perfect, that’s why Jesus had to Justify (Impute righteousness) us through his righteousness by the blood. So don’t be discouraged you will grow and your old habits will shed away over time. You will always have struggles but God always remains faithful.
Loving people is what the Lord wants us to do, so I would encourage everyone to minister the Gospel and be an example of Gods power through the renewing of your mind on Gods Word. When we listen to people speak and show them love God will shine through us. The “small” things in life like a smile, a hug, a great attitude, a conversation with a stranger, an encouraging word, cooking dinner for someone in need, loving your parents, and having a heart for people as Christians should have.
I’m looking forward to that day when we meet the Lord and all the Christians in the clouds at the Rapture. Our time on earth is running out so lets spread the gospel in love.

When I learned I was sealed with the Holy Spirit (Eternal Security) I was so happy, because my whole life (30 years of it) I believed a lie that I could lose my salvation by my bad works. Cause of that belief I walked away from the Lord for many years, “so what’s the point if I can’t measure up”. I ran to alcohol, drugs, woman etc, and it made me so depressed. I was longing to fill the hole in my heart that I came to realize only God can fill. Many years went by, then the last day I drank came, and I called out to God and balled my eyes out. From that day I started changing, and I haven’t drunk since. God has helped me through many emotional issues, has made my relationships much better, and if the Lord can save me, I know He can save you.
Now that I have proper understanding, and realize the truth of His love it makes me want to do more for God. God wants us to do Good works and by our example people will see Christ and potentially come to believe.
God wants All men and woman to be saved

The bible makes many contradictions regarding events such as how old Abram was when Ishmael was born. Genesis gives at least 4 different ages, to jesus incorrectly stating that the mustard seed is the smallest in the world, to failed prophecies regarding Egypt and inconsistencies regarding god’s supposed nature insisting god doesn’t hold anger forever to then insisting he is eternally wrathful.
And that’s not even referring to the different variations of the gospels regarding the tomb of jesus and the events that followed not matching up.
You don’t even need to trust these credible scientists, you can do the research yourself, and a lot of these scientists were actually christains and catholics themselves. There’s no reason for you to randomly discredit their work just because you don’t like the end result.

Wow comparing being gay to being predisposed to fits of rage . I am Christian and I’m straight but I don’t think it’s right to make these kinds of comparisons. It says God gave Idol worshipers over to homosexuality for ignoring the truth reveled in nature. It also says in Roman 2 that the reason he is making this claim is because he does not want people to judge those who do those things.
I was raised in the a fundamentalist Church and was never an idol worshiper. I never denied the foundational truth of the Logos(Word) of God in my life. I am gay why would God give me over to homosexuality as he did the idol worshipers. Maybe there is a better explanation.
I have come to understand this verse to refer to those who went to the Temples of the Roman's and, although they had a wife, they committed homosexual act as part of temple worship. Young homosexual slaves were raped and killed by heterosexuals within these temples. These men are doing exactly the opposite of what Paul wanted to have happen. They are judging homosexuals as Paul said not to do. They are not really trying to understand the connection of Temple enslavement of Gay people and this verse.
Honestly I’m just really confused right now. From what I’ve read in the Bible every verse referring to homosexuality condemned it’s actions but then I’m hearing people say it is derived from the Greek Homo which apparently meant pedophilia even though the book of Leviticus was written in Hebrew and the New Testament is written in Hebrew and Greek. I also heard that the Bible is one of the best recorded documents ever because it’s copies are extremely close to earlier versions. Idk and would be really happy if someone could help me out here

The reality is that we are all born with a sinful nature (Genesis 3) and all of us as human beings are ruled by sin and deserving of God's judgement (Romans 1-3). We are born with the propensity to sin but we still have to choose to sin. Doesn't matter what kind of sin it is, we all choose to yield to that part of us that loves sin. That is God's opinion on the matter and the only way to have freedom from that is through salvation and the power of God's grace.
The whole point of Romans 1 is Romans 2:1 which says "You therefore have no excuse you who pass judgement on someone else".

The word for homosexual in 1 Cor 6:9 and 1 Tim 1:10 is arsenokoitai in Greek, which was a new word that Paul invented. There is no prior use of that word anywhere. Nobody knows what it means. The word homosexual was invented in1896, nearly 2000 years later. It was only used to translate arsenokoitai as late as 1946. Why would the translators choose THAT word to translate arsenokoitai which no one knows the meaning of? Could it be that they chose homosexual just because they hate gays? Male prostitute or pederasty are EQUALLY valid translations of arsenokoitai. You cannot use 1 Cor 6:9 or 1 Tim 1:10 to claim this is what God says about homosexuality. That is NOT TRUE.
I was a Baptist Pastor and I am gay and was born gay, medically proven during electronic shock therapy by a Dr who was President of the Baptist Church at that time. It was horrific. I went through 13 years of reparative therapy and was married to my wife for 51 years before she passed recently from complications from MS which she had for 26 years. I cared for her for 23 years before she went into a nursing home nearby.

The Bible outlines sexual immorality as any sexual acts that occur outside of marriage. And it has always been made clear in the Bible that marriage is intended for one man and one woman. Jesus never decreed any other form of marriage then that of one man and one woman. So I will never understand how someone can open their mouth and say: “Jesus never said homosexuality was a sin!!!” Yes He did. Numerous times, actually. He just never singled it out. That doesn’t make it any more or any less sinful than other sexual immoral sins, buts it’s a sin regardless. And the Bible is clear on that.

I have questions for the preacher. You can say that homosexuality is sinful but what if you'd been born gay, could you still preach the way you did like in the video? That's because you're heterosexual so you'll never know what it is like being homosexual yourself. You never know how much they've been struggling to not being homosexual and trying to be back to normal as most people but they just can't, it isn't easy and simple as that, moreover it is impossible. If god hates homosexual people and condemn them to hell, then why god created them and let them existed from the very first place. Say you heterosexual people could enter kingdom of heaven, would you still be happy there alone while you were witnessing one of your family member, friends or acquaintances who identified as homosexual tortured in hell, would you still blissfully dance upon their sorrow? If god love all humans and all of his creations, so then God must love all humans without exception and unconditionally. Because I do believe that life is never just fully black and white, it must be gray or somewhere in between, so are sexual orientation and genders. So that's why god created not only day and night, but also god created morning and dusk. That's what life must be in our universe and the universe itself is far too vast to be restricted to the concept that homosexuality is sinful.
