There's a really good chance that in real life they were told the same thing and then in post it was edited to align with what the designs came out to be
The recovery of the tattoo hugely relies on the after-tattoo treatment. Exposure to the sun is a huge no and I suspect that some of the complaining canvases did not properly care for the healing process.
I had to get my tattoo done twice. He just didn’t press hard enough on top of my foot. So almost all the color came out and I don’t have outlines , but he did it again and some more ink was pushed out…. But it doesn’t look faded. The colors are there and the black is black still….

@@DeadMansSwxtch I have a thick black hexagram on the underside of my upper forearm that I never picked at, have always applied moisturizer and sunscreen to, and so on. I even stopped wearing my watch so that the band wasn't in contact with that area. Despite that, it has less saturated streaks at some of the line crossings. I could have had it touched up, but I decided that I liked the weathering effect. Besides, that spot is right over the wrist tendons and honestly was the most painful area to have done. I didn't squirm or complain, but my artist may have seen me flinching (it was my first tattoo) and eased off a little too much.
I honestly want to know how these people healed these tattoos. Tattoo aftercare can really affects the longevity and look of your piece. I always make sure to keep my tattoos out of the sun or if I am in the sun Or going outside for the day I always put a high spf sunscreen on. On some of these pieces I think that the canvas just didn’t take care of it. Even some of the best tattoos will fade in just a few years if you don’t protect them from the sun, or go in water too soon after getting them.
Literally, I'm surprised that he didn't come back for a touch up, if I messed up aftercare or there is even a small amount that I want brightened, the artist will do it for free. These canvases are crazy
Right!? He’s the best character. Lad is hilarious. He calls himself “Saint”, for fak’s sehk. He’s got that Jack Black, stumbling ‘till you sorta make it vibe.
I do 100% believe that there are a lot of virgins or people on the show, who got like 1 or 2 and never had a big one with a lot of details and color. I bet most just wanted a free tattoo and dont have enough knowledge
I was thinking the same thing, I have a lot of tattoos, and if anything fades during the healing process, I go back to my guy and have it rectified for free!
I think it does depend on the artist whether it needs a touch up. I have two about the same age ( like 20 years old)..one is in definite need of a touch up, the other isn't at all even though it has some light shading. Yet another is 6 years old and just one of the colours is almost completely gone. Some things are the artist, some things are the skin. And in this show..some things are clearly more related to the canvas later on seeing the critique rather than the actual result.
@@SuperPatinatorHow many Touch Ups does Daniel Silva have to do for his clients?......its about the artist, the mechanic, all that. You need to tell them everything. You need to tell them to check in if they experience anything or have any questions at all. You act like just because someone has a car, they all of the sudden know about the weeping hole on a Water Pump. Check your self since you like to claim you have knowledge that most don't. Some artists couldn't draw a circle or line to save their life. That performance issue will effect your ability to even put ink into someones Dermis, the 2nd layer of skin they have to aim for.
After you get a tattoo, it's very common for there to be touch-ups to finalise the piece. With Ink Master, it's all done in one session so you don't get that. Also, if you don't do proper tattoo treatment whilst it's healing, then it won't heal properly and will fade, look bad etc.
Yeah especially in competitions its easy to overwork the skin. Everyones skin is also drastically different with how much it can handle. I just find them unfair to be done so fast paced.
i have a tattoo that was completely overworked and almost all of the color is gone and the linework is blown out. its sad because i loved it when i got it and now its just a blurry mess :( my husband has 2 tattoo from the same artist (one he got the same day) and his are almost 100% perfect. i think she was really stressed and just wasnt in the right headspace because one of her main artists was in the process of having a breakdown screaming and quitting during my tattoo. she was super professional during it but by the time we took a break and hubby was getting his tattoo next the guy was finally gone and his tat shows she was much calmer for sure!
I live how blown away he was about the king tut tattoo as of he has never heard of a touch up … like.. why does it have to be different if the only thing that’s bad is the saturation
I don´t have a single tattoo and not preparing to get one at any point soon, but I love watching this type of videos. I love the smiles on their faces when their ruined tattoo was fixed/covered up, I can feel the relief they had just by watching it
I don't recommend it. If it fades you got to back for color or a touch up.. and how many times can be done.. it gets old. Had my eagle tattoo get some recolor twice, it costs money and it will fade over time no matter what you do. 20+ years I have had it. Got another in a black, grey traditional kind of way after near 20 years, and the black isn't like it was, no matter what I do to preserve it. If I have to go back and have black added it would be like getting it done all over again, and I'm not doing that one all over again. I don't recommend tattoos. Cost is not good either to get a good new tattoo.
Seeing canvases leave happy is my favorite part of this show! Like the smile when they get an amazing tattoo is just so great. I hope I will have the same smile after getting my tattoo in september!
You know that whole “timed” bs is just for the show and that when the artists are actually working on the canvases they can take as much as they need? And most are usually done BEFORE the time limit anyway.
I honestly am curious about how many of these are the result of bad aftercare. You can't just leave the shop acting like a fresh tattoo is fully healed and your body will just take care of it or something. There's shit you gotta do to keep it from fading and getting infected and stuff.
“I get that you’re competing, but this is my life too” lady it was your life when you chose to get that first tattoo, it was your life when you came in for this free tattoo, you’ve already made the decisions you get to make
Man so many people don’t understand that some peoples skin is different and doesn’t hold ink well. Plus after care is so important. So many of these issues are the canvases faults
So, either these ppl have been lied to be producers about how tattoos should heal, or they didn't take care of their tattoo afterwards. ALSO, like, he told her that it couldn't be covered. Like, have realistic expectations (which we know some of these canvases do not have!)
I know it's just a show, but i get a little frustrated when the canvas directly goes against what the whole theme of the episode is. Like if they're being judged on butt tattoos and the canvas wants it on their hip, then the judges says "do you even know where the ass is?" I just want to tell at the screen lol or if they're doing back tattoos and only one of the canvases have existing back tattoos, it's the elephant in the room that's it's harder to incorporate new tattoos compared to a clean slate.
Gotta love the creative editing of reality tv to form a narrative. Lady: "Dragonflies are cool" Steve: "Not really" Because thats a totally natural conversation..... I really dont believe someone would just straight up shade their personal preferences in that way straight to their face. She probably asked something and that was his respons, that they then edited to make him look like a dirtbag who doesn't care about what she wants...
@RoboWizard yeah but usually if you care for someone's opinion (and you should be if you own a shop so that the client will come back or bring someone else to your shop) that after the "not really" you could say sonething like "but if you like them okay" the very least. On TV they delete like hours of footage to fit in television time plus to make the usual dramatics
Man I was not at all expecting randy at the end, he was there for a very short time and nobody would most likely know him from being on the season with Scott, matti, sausage and halo (that being season 3 or 4 I believe) and he did terrible at trying to stay in without no lines in photo realism, im just surprised I haven’t seen any content about Roland being here on redemption cuz his shit is absolutely awful in comparison to randy, I can guarantee u if u never seen his cat tat 😂
the tattoo depends on both the artist and the canvas if you get a black tattoo it needs to be dark when you get it so that it lightens up and you get a forever lasting tattoo. The canvas has to properly take care of the tattoo as well sun light isn’t too good for fresh tattoos and moisture is important
Yeah after 20-30 years, not a few months😂 It was faded soo bad. My oldest tattoo's are 10 years old and pretty much look the same as when they first healed. Its a matter of getting a good tattoo in the first place, and never stop taking care of it.
healing and aftercare definitely makes a difference. I have a tattoo on my chest and i took care of it well for the first few weeks but 5 months later I got an AWFUL sunburn and its just not as vibrant anymore and that's 100% my fault a lot of the time it doesnt seem very fair to blame the artist, bc the tattoo artist I had was so nice and patient with me and I was so happy. it was my first tattoo and I'm very happy I had such a good experience. a shame I messed it up, but I'm looking to get it touched up soon, hopefully by the same artist :]
I see a lot of people say "Shut up it's a free tattoo" but like... the show NEEDS people to come on and allow people to tattoo them. That "free tattoo" is the compensation to be the canvas and take the risk that your tattoo might turn out poorly. Them being dissatisfied is part of the potential experience if the contestant did a bad job. Most of these canvases have tattoos already meaning they aren't opposed to paying for them but just because it's "free" doesn't strip them of the right to be dissatisfied with poor work. As an artist myself, I know how hard it is to admit to messing up, but it's important for growth to understand when you made a mistake and when it's time to make it right instead of letting your ego get in the way.
I totally hear you, but I think most of the time they’re saying that bout the canvases who have the “my way or the highway” mindset. Idk for sure, but that is who I’d think they’re talking about
I think what this show fails to make an example of is that most of the time, the healed quality of the tattoo depends on the aftercare of the person who got it. A lot of these could have just not been properly cared for, and that's the canvas's fault, not the artist's.
But remember they have a time limit and they can't take their time as they'd like so mistakes are more likely to happen regardless of aftercare. Some get talked into or convinced and they realize they don't like it
You could clearly tell just from the consultations which was Steve's and which was Sarah's more or less their clear art styles. I still feel awful for that girl with the hideous muddy bird on her arm who has to just suffer or go through the long, expensive, and painful process of lazor removal.
I don't feel bad for her, he told her it wasn't going to work and she wouldn't listen to him at all. He knew those colors wouldn't stay covering that black, but she stayed bullheaded 🤷🏻♀️

Honestly I liked Steve's flowers but I liked Sarah's water. Sarah's flower was also beautiful but the Hibiscus in Steve's popped. I liked that there were two contrasting flowers. Wish they could combine the two tbh.
So with Randy, I agree with the canvas, I mean he admitted it was a bad tattoo but also admitted in a way like he didn't care. I mean it's bad enough going back to see an artist that messed up, let alone trust them enough to get a tattoo
don’t agree with the canvas at all, lol I don’t know how u could 1. It’s a free tattoo and although the colour has washed out it’s really not that bad, and far better than ones I’ve seen people pay for 2. What was worse was the tattoo artist's attitude after the customer told him he wouldn't let him fix it. His ego and pride were hurt when he couldn't get a chance at redemption.
To be fair. I would love a tatto done by any of those artists. Not a chance in hell will i go on a show like this to get tattood. You know how much pressure theyre under and the time crunch. I wouldnt risk it. Their bad tattoos are usually bad due to the pressure. Amazing tattoo artists are never on a time crunch. They use all the time they need to get it perfect x
If I was to go on the show, I'd want to have a choice in what I'm likely to get, and where. I sure wouldn't want some big ol complicated thing, like a leg sleeve.
Steve is a complete A-Hole. I lived in Groton during the time he went on the show, and I met some of the people who went to his shop. They were only happy if it wasn't him doing the tattoo. He absolutely refuses to listen to his client. If it isn't what he wants, he will kick you out. Groton is a major military town, so most people who get tattoos there are military. Word around base was "If you go to 12 Monkeys, refuse to let Steve touch you." When we saw him get on InkMaster and then win, we were all completely shocked.
I understand there are better quality inks, and using the tool correctly when tattooing etc, but I feel like 95% of tattoos not healing properly is lack of proper care afterwards. The ones I’ve had for almost 10 years now still look nice because I took care of them
Some artist have work that consistently fade though lol I have seen it …it’s a guy I think does good work but his tattoos always fade so I never went to him
I get sorta confused when these people come in with “faded” tattoos. That isn’t the artists fault, that’s kinda yours. Sunlight exposure is extremely harmful for young tattoos and can make them look years older than they actually are(This is the No.1 most common mistake when people get tattoos). Not using non-scented lotion once during the early healing phase is also bad since moisturizing the damaged skin keeps it from not healing properly. Anti-bacterial soap is useful to prevent infections from happening, but it stings badly. Touching new tattoos isn’t the worst, but doing it often can create problems later on. Aftercare is one of the most important aspects of getting a beautiful tattoo that will last forever, but some canvases don’t understand that or aren’t told about it.
Randy looks like he is taking better care of himself and I was bummed he didn’t get the chance to fix that tattoo. I think he could have made it look better and added something like a border to make it look more finished.
I always felt steve’s bird coverup looked like yata garasu from Yugioh. Honestly it doesn’t look bad, faded but I never thought the design was horrible. I’d have Steve over Sarah tattoo me any day.
As bad as Randy's tattoo was, if it was on me, it'd be one of those tattoos I'd be like "Well it's bad but I can live with it." Because is it the worst tattoo on the show? No. But it isn't good either.
Fun fact : Tattoos are made of metal particles so a tattoo will always fade overtime by the years. The body will decompose this metal because it doesn’t belong in the body but this takes a really long time to do so. That’s why some tattoos need recoloring in order to still pop.
The needle leaves no metal in the skin.. the only thing staying in the dermis is ink, not metal. The reason tattoos fade is because of the macrophages trying to remove the ink from the skin. “When in healing mode, the body rushes a team of blood cells called macrophages to the site of the tattoo to remove the foreign substance (ink particles) that are now in the dermis. This process is complex: Macrophages are why tattoos fade over time AND part of what makes them permanent. Some macrophages swallow ink particles and send them out through the lymphatic system. However other macrophages remain in the dermis and allow the injected ink to remain visible. This process can help explain how tattoos fade over time.”
@@Velamyartsy ink contains metal. So what you say may be indeed true but a little bit more complex. But in the end, ink does contain heavy metals and that’s what gets removed from the body
I got an MIR and they told me in the past ink had metal in it so it can be a huge problem. I had no issue with my MIR since ink has changed. It seems it doesn't contain metal anymore. They told me it would have burned big time !
I'm an artist myself n I would have said give me his flowers and her water background together and that would have been the best tatt. Because his flowers were more detailed and better looking but his background was very blocky, even manly tribal looking which makes no sense to pair tribal blocky background with something as organic as flowers. Her flower on the other hand was lacking and very simplistic no variation in color and it we just blah, but her water background not only flowed really well with the organic nature of the flower but it looked awesome. So a combination of his flowers and her waves would have been AMAZING, not to mention both artists could have done a true collaboration on her n she would have loved it. Too bad none of them had the vision or simply the ability to put all their pride aside to create something harmonious and sick.....😉
don't think Dave connected with this canvas more this any-other.. its basically both of them agreeing with each-other. he's the most perfect host for ANY show in TV history.
" you got beat by a girl in a dress!" Rubbed me the wrong way, she's acting like it's such a win, acting like he's mysognistic, acting like it's never been done before. Also when the canvas didn't pick her design she acted all nice when everyone was there but in the solo interviews she said she would crush him either way, she just sounds like a person you wouldn't want to be around.
She's always had that kind of abrasive, obnoxious personality that she's fighting for her life against everything because someone exhaled the wrong way
I have two cover-ups. Both have healed well. One is 25yrs old- colors bright, still beautiful. The other is around 15-17 yrs old, on the leg, a little sunned but still lovely.
If it isn't what he wants, he won't do it. He's used to getting his way and bullying his clients. His attitude really came out in the show when he couldn't kick people out and throw a tantrum like he does in his shop. I had a really good friend who came to my house crying and shaking because of how he treated her. She had been booked with him but had to wait when he announced he would be on the show. After months of waiting, she went in with the the sketch he had previously told her to make of what she wanted. It was LOTR with elven script. He said he wasn't going to do the elven script because it was "stupid shit" and he was tired of doing it for people. The script was a quote in memory of her deceased mother, who was a huge LOTR fan. She told him it had to be part of the tattoo. He said he wasn't going to put it on there, no matter how many tears she shed. Then, he tried to change the rest of the design that was again in memory of her mother. They argued. He told her she came to him because he was Ink Master, so she better show some respect. She told him no, you know I came to you before you even announced going on the show and I've been on a waiting list for months. His comeback was, "Well, you waited this long so you could get tattooed by the best because everyone knew I was going to win. Sit there, shut the fuck up, and let me do my work." She, of course, told him he wasn't touching her and he kicked her out. She tried to get one of the other artists to help her and he said if anyone in his shop touched her, they were fired. There were a lot of customers there that day, and since Groton is a military town, word spread fast. Everyone already knew he was an asshole, but that made it worse. When people started canceling appointments and going to a military guy in our neighborhood who did tattoos in his personal shop, Steve had people go to his house and tell him to close his business or they would find a way to get him in trouble with the base for his shop. Technically, we weren't allowed to have small businesses in housing, but the housing office usually turned a blind eye because people need to pay bills, you know? I will forever to this day and beyond tell people what a complete and utter A-Hole he is because of what he did to my friend. She finally did get the tattoo from the guy in housing, and it was gorgeous. Better than any of the crap at Steve's shop, too.
"I'm very adventurous and like to have a good time" "can you do a flower"...... Wow what an adventurous choice and unique choice. I bet nobody has ever picked that before.
Steve's tattoo had Māori patterns in it. Those patterns are very sacred in our tattooing and he just put this on a woman who has no idea what it means or where it came from. So bad
People usually don't care if something is sacred to another's culture. Tons of people have Asian art/writing. Recreations of statues from across the world. Native American headdresses on pure black or pure white skin. May suck to see and go 'oh they aren't respecting my culture', but at the end of the day culture is meant to be shared.

Totally agree, could easily tell that was Sarah's design. I actually prefer hers design then Steves.
The dude that has the tarantula tattoo 100% picked at the tattoo while it healed. That's why there are so many light areas. No way that's just fading
How can you tell?
@@rdred8693when someone picks at a tattoo it's pretty easy to tell since it's lighter in areas. Also sun damage and poor care has different tells.
Thank you@@DeadMansSwxtch
I thought they were designing a tattoo to cover up the cover up on her arm and I was confused why they were both so bright
I was too but i realized it was a whole new tattoo on a empty space.
That’s just gotta get removed
Me too. It's gonna hurt to laser off that shitty cover up, plus $$$. God that things ugly.
Nah that's a way too big to get covered up again
Exactly
Sarah Miller in that outfit...
I'm in love
My issue with the redemption episodes is that aftercare plays a HUGE part in how a tattoo heals.
Indeed but if the canvas says, that the colours faded and bleeding out, getting smushy, the next day, it's not because of them didn't care
" I want to show it off..I can't wait to wear tank tops again" you better be using sunscreen and lotion cause you faded the last one.
I really wonder how many of them bother with aftercare when they leave the show
Yeah it looks like its been faded by the sun but also the soft shading definitely doesn't help
junior casually admitting that he didnt follow aftercare then blames the artist for the fading, claiming the tattoo ruined his life
I do think the guy faded the pharaoh tattoo
I honestly want to know how these people healed these tattoos. Tattoo aftercare can really affects the longevity and look of your piece. I always make sure to keep my tattoos out of the sun or if I am in the sun Or going outside for the day I always put a high spf sunscreen on. On some of these pieces I think that the canvas just didn’t take care of it. Even some of the best tattoos will fade in just a few years if you don’t protect them from the sun, or go in water too soon after getting them.
Especially when the guy with the military tattoo IMMEDIATELY put his fresh tattoo against her body when they hugged
The Pharao Tut tattoo wasn’t even that bad. The black just faded a bit over time but it still looked good. A touch-up is all it needed
meanwhile junior is acting like that tattoo ruined his life
Literally, I'm surprised that he didn't come back for a touch up, if I messed up aftercare or there is even a small amount that I want brightened, the artist will do it for free. These canvases are crazy
Wow...how has St.Marq gone his whole life without someone trying to murder him?! 🤦♀️
Right!? He’s the best character. Lad is hilarious. He calls himself “Saint”, for fak’s sehk.
He’s got that Jack Black, stumbling ‘till you sorta make it vibe.
"wo got this, me and you" omg I hate this manipulating confidence!!
Marq is just so arrogant there is no way anyone but his parents can stand him
@@DarkAngelKGit’s questionable if even they like him, tbh
Great question cuz the guy has an ego the size of the ocean
Have people never heard of touching up a tattoo?
@Forc3_Sim Gaming yeah the parlor i went to give free yearly touch ups for this reason.
Probably didn’t properly heal
Healing process also depends on skin very much
@@ytk4rv Also depends on a tattoo artist's application.
Would the bird at the beginning or the underwater scene be able to be touched up and fixed if they'd wanted?
Lydia’s redemption was soo good!! I loved that one!!!!
She’s a good artist. She had more time to come up with a dope tattoo
Sarah is an great artist, her whole loss is over bad timing/luck.. I'd let both of them tattoo me whatever design THEY chose over anyone else.
"a great artist", not "an great artist"
You know that whole “timed” bs is just for the show and that when the artists are actually working on the canvases they can take as much as they need? And most are usually done BEFORE the time limit anyway.
@@ppietras97 yeah the time limit hurts them but if they had all the time, she does gorgeous pieces. look at her instagram.
Too bad she has the most infuriating face and attitude. She has the most punchable face ever
@@ppietras97 really?😮
I honestly am curious about how many of these are the result of bad aftercare. You can't just leave the shop acting like a fresh tattoo is fully healed and your body will just take care of it or something. There's shit you gotta do to keep it from fading and getting infected and stuff.
I low-key love Sarah's sassiness.
Steve is one of my favorite artist on this show. Dude has crazy skill!!!
Steve and Lydia did such incredible tattoos. Love them.
St Marq needs to use a liner. That thing is going to look the same faded POS in a few years.
Lady: "Dragonflies are cool"
Steve: "Not really"
Because thats a totally natural conversation.....
I really dont believe someone would just straight up shade their personal preferences in that way straight to their face. She probably asked something and that was his respons, that they then edited to make him look like a dirtbag who doesn't care about what she wants...
I would definitely say "not really" if I thought something wasn't cool
I agree. that was to unnatural.
People definitely do. This is tame for my parents.
"I can't tell who drew which tattoo" .. yes you can sarah literally talked about doing water are you serious
Sarah's design was perfection!
Would definitely choose hers myself.
ikr the water looked amazing. I would of chose hers too.
That spider tattoo looked like the sun just absorbed it all.
I loved Sarah’s tattoo. It was so pretty!
Ink Master editing around Peck is refreshing and a great way to own up to the controversy
LOL randy was so bad i think they wouldn’t bring him back because he would just do another bad tattoo
I agree. Tbh Randy wasn't great but I'd rather get something from him than by Roland any day. Because outside of the show I like Randy's tattoo
the tattoo depends on both the artist and the canvas if you get a black tattoo it needs to be dark when you get it so that it lightens up and you get a forever lasting tattoo. The canvas has to properly take care of the tattoo as well sun light isn’t too good for fresh tattoos and moisture is important
A lot of people didn’t like Sarah but she was one of my favorite artists.
The king tut tattoo just looks like normal aging to me..
I have a tattoo on my chest and i took care of it well for the first few weeks but 5 months later I got an AWFUL sunburn and its just not as vibrant anymore and that's 100% my fault
a lot of the time it doesnt seem very fair to blame the artist, bc the tattoo artist I had was so nice and patient with me and I was so happy. it was my first tattoo and I'm very happy I had such a good experience. a shame I messed it up, but I'm looking to get it touched up soon, hopefully by the same artist :]
Feels like the flower design would fade as well, yellow ad orange don't stick
Idk for sure, but that is who I’d think they’re talking about
doesnt change the fact that junior is a crybaby for acting like his artist ruined his life when all he needed was a touch up
I think what this show fails to make an example of is that most of the time, the healed quality of the tattoo depends on the aftercare of the person who got it.
Yeah she literally told him about a hibiscus and not Sarah lol
I don't feel bad for her, he told her it wasn't going to work and she wouldn't listen to him at all. He knew those colors wouldn't stay covering that black, but she stayed bullheaded 🤷🏻♀️

So with Randy, I agree with the canvas, I mean he admitted it was a bad tattoo but also admitted in a way like he didn't care. I mean it's bad enough going back to see an artist that messed up, let alone trust them enough to get a tattoo
don’t agree with the canvas at all, lol I don’t know how u could
1. It’s a free tattoo and although the colour has washed out it’s really not that bad, and far better than ones I’ve seen people pay for
2. He was very honest and polite about it not being his best, and the canvas just completely shut him down which is just weird to come on the show for nothing but to say you’d never let someone tattoo you again

That skull cover up was fire

man, this show is pure commedy
I understand there are better quality inks, and using the tool correctly when tattooing etc, but I feel like 95% of tattoos not healing properly is lack of proper care afterwards. The ones I’ve had for almost 10 years now still look nice because I took care of them
Some artist have work that consistently fade though lol I have seen it …it’s a guy I think does good work but his tattoos always fade so I never went to him
5:42 "even tho I got beat, I still would've beat him, if I hadn't gotten beat" is all I'm hearing
That last soldier tattoo was insanely beautiful!
Randy looks like he is taking better care of himself and I was bummed he didn’t get the chance to fix that tattoo. I think he could have made it look better and added something like a border to make it look more finished.
5:20 😭😭that’s literally the flower she already has how could she not put 2 and 2 together???
I always felt steve’s bird coverup looked like yata garasu from Yugioh. Honestly it doesn’t look bad, faded but I never thought the design was horrible. I’d have Steve over Sarah tattoo me any day.
Lydia's soldier tattoo came out really nice
As bad as Randy's tattoo was, if it was on me, it'd be one of those tattoos I'd be like "Well it's bad but I can live with it." Because is it the worst tattoo on the show? No. But it isn't good either.
Jack of all trades, Ink Master of None!🤣😂
Another fun fact: tattoos are cool :)
…unless they’re not cool
I got an MIR and they told me in the past ink had metal in it so it can be a huge problem. I had no issue with my MIR since ink has changed. It seems it doesn't contain metal anymore. They told me it would have burned big time !

Judging tattoos that didn't heal well, then judges the new ones while still fresh and not healed... What
I'm an artist myself n I would have said give me his flowers and her water background together and that would have been the best tatt.
I thought her water looked ugly simplistic & faded
no way the first girl didn't know whose design was what. Sarah was the only one who said something about the water and only 1 design had a water wave

Also when the canvas didn't pick her design she acted all nice when everyone was there but in the solo interviews she said she would crush him either way, she just sounds like a person you wouldn't want to be around.
She's always had that kind of abrasive, obnoxious personality that she's fighting for her life against everything because someone exhaled the wrong way
I will say, as a girl, I’ll say that to any guy I beat at anything. It’s not really about if they’re sexist or misogynistic or not
@@yoongiverse. I feel like it's internalized misogyny from her but it's different for everyone ig. Thanks for your input.
I have two cover-ups. Both have healed well. One is 25yrs old- colors bright, still beautiful. The other is around 15-17 yrs old, on the leg, a little sunned but still lovely.
It’s not that it wasn’t possible, he just didn’t want to do the cover up to begin with. His tone is what created the doubt for her tattoo.
I thought it was supposed to cover the cover-up on her arm, not an untouched area
The Egyptian one looks authentic now lol
Steve's tattoo had Māori patterns in it. Those patterns are very sacred in our tattooing and he just put this on a woman who has no idea what it means or where it came from. So bad
People usually don't care if something is sacred to another's culture. Tons of people have Asian art/writing. Recreations of statues from across the world. Native American headdresses on pure black or pure white skin. May suck to see and go 'oh they aren't respecting my culture', but at the end of the day culture is meant to be shared.
can a white guy get a maori type pattern as an arm sleeve?
You can't own a pattern and say it belongs to your people. That doesn't make sense.
I think st Marq is hilarious and even more hilarious is people who take him all that seriously. Dude is clearly playing up a character for a laugh.
