The animation quality for the theatrical version was seriously so timeless and one of Madhouse’s work. Seriously these shots are so highly technical and skilled. I give so much respects to the animators. The dreamlike atmosphere, the composition, movements- it’s perfection!
I really miss the old art style these days. I appreciate the high quality and new animation style that's unique or interesting and all, but I must agree on it. I love watching the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s Era of anime quality. It's rare to see that classic style and I would love it when it's back to the traditional art of anime, would bring me joy again. I want the future generations of children see this anime and all sort of older anime too.
The only magical girl sakura I still love and adore, nowadays magical girls completely bullshit and ridiculous, I despise them, and the amount of it getting stupid and stupider each time now
