These remind me of the Iveco Tector series, especially the Tector 7! You should look pon them when you have a chance, they’re the French varient of these. We been missing the hybrids, great video as per usual🙂
All turbocharged engines have a point in RPM where they produce peak power and torque, any higher then it’s producing less of it. It won’t be producing anything higher than 180hp, and peak power happens at a much lower RPM than redline
They seem to lose torque close to redline. I''ve discovered this when driving the AS-Tronic ones- they accelerate faster up to about 2100rpm- anything after that and it's all noise and no power creeping up to the limiter.
@ChrisRichmond a lot of torque gets lost after a certain rpm. You're right about that. Peak torque usually is around 2100 rpm any higher, then it slowly drops down, but power still goes up or down depending on how much torque gets lost from the engine
hey whats the max rpm the engine on this chassis cant rev higher than without any extra limits, i understand i've asked u a similar question to this. I'm tryna make engines for roblox so I'm tryna get down all the accurate details
@LJ07EBP thats how high the engine managed to rev up to even if the redline is 2800rpm. Stuff like that happens in a lot of petrol cars too, saying if the redline is 9000rpm but can still rev even higher if you push it
Nope, it's being forced to act like this. If it was low on transmission fluid it would be redlining a lot more severely in each gear and would likely slip gears too
Jesus it's no wonder Metroline buses blow up all the time if thsts what they do the their buses not that old and probs one of the judderiest buses ever
It’s only one time 😅😂, there’s no harm redlining an engine as long as it’s not done excessively day in day out. And for engines that when driven normally, rev up to about 1600/1700rpm at the highest on flat land, this shouldn’t do any harm. I can agree though, there might be slight wear in the gearbox if done day in day out. Just remember this, companies will never allow their engines to rev that high if they know it is bad for the engine, they all have their set limits.
Jaw-dropping revs 😃! The throttle pumping is crazy 🤣
You know 💫
This bus sounds amazing! One of the best I have ever heard!
Not usual to see any Voith MMC acting like this! 💯
A lot of effort put into this video. Well done and nice video
Thank you 🫡
The guy at the front of the bus is shook 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Even without a driver confusing the gearbox, E200 Euro 6 Voith still sounds great
Agreed
Sounds beautiful i wish the MMCs on 499 were like this
With the right driver they can!
THIS VIDEO IS INSANE!!!! Frozzles casually uploading bangers, keep em up :)
It really is man, thanks!

I'm looking to head to other countries soon, don't you worry! 😉

Someone really likes football here by kicking it like that🤣
If the peak power of this engine was 180HP at 2800rpm, I wonder what the output was at 3000rpm

Nice bro 🔥
Nice redlines!
Yessir 💫
These run on my grandparents local sometimes
Same
Sounds like it doesn't know what day of the week it is
🤣🤣🤣
@@Frozzles Why give a bus all that power if you have to confuse the gearbox? Allison's don't do that.
Ahhh this sounds beautifiul, nice one as usual bro :)
Giving the Voith a chance to sing 😌
Thank you bro!
The manipulation did it again. Looks like SE296 wasn't alone this time. His/her ancestor come join the "kickdown" club
Tag-teaming 😎
That’s quite jerky

2800rpm
@@Frozzles Oh, how comes you put 3000 in the title?

@@T_vEg thanks for letting me know that, I've always wanted to know the reason behind engines revving above redline slightly
Wonder if it needs some transmission fluid.

the LK16s have always been that weird batch that over rev and have literally have no control over themselves at all 🤣
That's what you get with newer Voith gearboxes, sometimes they just choose violence automatically😂
@@Frozzles thats one way to describe it loool
@@FrozzlesThames valley or Courtney buses have like the best sound
Jeez that's mental - I still prefer allison mmcs though cos you can get this performance without having to do this many manipulations
Yeah definitely, sound wise though I'll always go for the Voith though
if this was route 393 then you are riding my local route
I’m here to tell you it’s not 🌚😁
Makes it sound half decent wtf🤣
Some juj-banging was involved here 😂😂
