Hi we have two 100 amp hour gel batty think we have 100 w solar panel was watching one of your vlogs were you mention sodium ion that you can swap over without upgrades to the solar the batteries are ok at the min we have a delta 2 and are going to get the extra battery to double up we only use the gel batteries for running the van itself lights pump fan heating use eco flow for everything else tv etc do you think I would only need 1 sodium battery sorry if sounds like war & peace love your videos 👍
I wouldn't use carpet in the kennel area. Unless you just like a doggy smell. I travel with my small dog. Walkies are needed even during rainy days. Wet dog and carpet equals wet dog smells. I have laminate flooring and a standard crate kennel. I carry plenty of old beach size towels for wipe downs and put a dry one in her crate floor pan. If the weather is wet, I can just wash and dry everything and it keeps the camper smelling fresh. Unless you are just fond of wet dog odor, then it's great.

Hope you don't mind me asking but when you convert a van what has to happen with DVLA and log books? Is that something that you take care of? Surely if the log book doesn't say campervan the insurance would be invalid?
I'm building a conversion and your videos have been a godsend. How did you get the cupboards and kitchens looking so professional before you had the CNC cutter? I've started saying byere when showing people how it's coming along...which is slowly :(
They literally won't do reclassification any more. Over 15k have applied since 2021. They've basically not allowed any. Regardless who or how well the convert. It doesn't make any difference to anything really except on the v5. Insurance don't care. Ferry companies don't care.
12:15 Out of interest, why did you hinge the under-sink cupboard door on the left instead of the right as double cabinet doors are normally hung so that the hinges are on the outer edges and the two doors open like a book? There's bound to be a reason but after chasing about after a 3 year old grandson for most of the day I'm too knackered to work it out.
Lol you are right that is normally how is would have been hinged but as there is a trimmed end panel there the door would bind on it if it were hinged the other way 👍🏻🚐
