Please consider, that my employing this method as a form of "pest control", what you are really doing is killing many small creatures, harming your plant (it clogs their stomata the same as it clogs the respiratory parts of the aphids), and wasting your time as more aphids will be back as the plant weakens due to clogged pores, and dirty leaves from all the dead bugs. i been using neem oil for several years now to get rid of aphids and other chewing bugs. it shuts down their ability to feed and to breed. you have to add a bit of dish soap so the oil will mix with the water. baking soda i have used too to control tomato blight. it alkalizes the leaves and prevents blight from taking hold but you have to reapply about every week or so and after a rain. i have never mixed the two together but can see why that would work as neem also helps with fungus so combining the two makes perfect sense. also you should apply early in the morning before the sun is up strong. putting oil on a leaf in full sun is a good way to burn it. just a light misting too because you do not want heavy oil on as it will act like a magnifying lens and cause the sun to burn the foliage.
I like this type of explanation. I hear a lot in Spain, by asking for direction. "Take the second to the right..... Again, You go, the first ..... NO, keep going.... The next... YES. Right and not left.... Do want it again? See, we are here ..... "

i know right?! where is that amazing contraption from?! i am always so jelly when i see it in his vids
Really wonderful. It works like a miracle. Thanks a lot for saving my plants.
How often can it be applied?
I've used this recipe and it works! Thank you 👍
Thank you for this video. I will try this tonight. You’re a gardener’s blessing. I’ll take look at your other videos and share this one as much as possible to my fellow novice gardeners. ❤
i been using neem oil for several years now to get rid of aphids and other chewing bugs. it shuts down their ability to feed and to breed. you have to add a bit of dish soap so the oil will mix with the water.
baking soda i have used too to control tomato blight. it alkalizes the leaves and prevents blight from taking hold but you have to reapply about every week or so and after a rain.
i have never mixed the two together but can see why that would work as neem also helps with fungus so combining the two makes perfect sense.
also you should apply early in the morning before the sun is up strong. putting oil on a leaf in full sun is a good way to burn it. just a light misting too because you do not want heavy oil on as it will act like a magnifying lens and cause the sun to burn the foliage.
Your explanation is tops.
Well said, thanks
@paulk5311 Can we use this organic pesticide with micronutrient together and spray ?
My God, what a splendid narrative. Just listening to you gives positive energy to initiate gardening. A big salute and Tks. God bless you.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. Such comments gives unto me more and more energy to deliver more knowledge! 🙏🙏
Just the way you explain! Its so perfect and refreshing. Keep it up!👏👏👏
@@lifelessonslifesavingtips182 thanks.for your lovely info i will sure try it out
Seems to be good, will try. Your way of expression is highly appreciable.
I like this type of explanation.
I hear a lot in Spain, by asking for direction.
"Take the second to the right..... Again, You go, the first ..... NO, keep going.... The next... YES. Right and not left.... Do want it again? See, we are here ..... "
Thanks for sharing your idea! I will try this one now. Let's all do organic! 😁
Baking soda, for the most part, is man-made, not organic.

Thank you for sharing your secret ingredient to eliminate garden pests. Please continue
ex[plaining methods of improving the plants in the garden, and having healthy yields.
I wonder if this will work on squash and pumpkin plants? Most specifically cucumber beetles and squash vine borders. I imagine it will work on the powdery mildew we get sometimes here in Iowa.
But the my zucchini and pumpkins ALWAYS get ruined by the borders! I get fruit sometimes, but only a one or a few before they ate destroyed. I don't use pesticides other than Dawn dishwashing liquid ( teaspoon to quart water) shake well...
I will try this mix and see how it goes.. And to find Neem oil.Thank You for making this video! ;-)
This was a video I did not know I needed...but loved it. I plan on planting vegetables in the Spring so I already have a good tip. Your voice is amazingly soothing. I just subscribed and will watch more videos. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Can I use Neem powder?
I will try this formula for the first time. Thanks for your valuable video.
I remember as a child my grandad used to add fairy liquid to a water spray, to dissolve fatty greenfly... Will remember this though and will try it at some point... Thank you 👍🏻
fairy? you irish?

Thank you!
I'm glad I came across this video. Thank you. Do I leave the formula on the plants and let it dry on the leaves for the indoor plants?
Leave it on the plant, no need to rinse.
I just think the elephant watering can is adorable. ❤ I have rose rust and I hope this will work. Thanks!
Love that you gave me only a litre is solution, and cleared up the soda difference
I don't give away my thumbs up like nothing. I'm not an easy liker, ok? But I liked this video at around minute 2:00. You do know your thing and I LOVE the way you talk. Ughhh. So knowledgeable yet easy to follow. Best RUclips channel 💚
Thanks for telling difference between baking powder, soda and washing soda
We have Crepe Myrtle Bark Scale in the south, so I'm going to try this when it's time to trim the plants back (less limbs to spray and more ability to access after the leaves have fallen). Thank you!
I can't wait to try this tomorrow. The so much for the receipe.
I live in southwest Wyoming. For 40 years my husband worked in one of the trona mines here. Trona is what Church and Dewight uses to make baking soda and other products with. Church and Dewight also has a processing here. We never ran out of any of their products. They ship world wide
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. We need people who can help us learn DIY metods. To much toxic stuff out there. You have my 👍 😀
Great video! I've been battling aphids forever!!!
Great tip! Worked flawlessly! These little white mite & webs on the plant. Ty.
I came across this video and I’m so glad I did. I’m very happy to have found you. New subscriber here
BTW in the USA ivory soap has always been biodegradable, unless it's the new stuff and says antibiotic, which isn't good for garden stuff. Ivory was the boyscouts washing in the lake soap.
Very very educative and so interesting
may God bless you for such educative message. Keep it up
Thanks! I'll try to use this recipe in my succulents. Great video. 👏👏👏
Too grateful to have found your channel, today I started working as the person in charge of improving the production of coffee plants in southern Mexico. I would appreciate it if you could give me some recommendations to decrease the rust in coffee plants. I will prepare this fungicide to observe its effectiveness and I will give you my answer. Returning to the topic of rust, do you think neem tree oil will enhance its effect if I mix it with another oil? It would be great to exchange information with coffee growers around the world to improve their production and the harmful effects of the rust fungus.
Any updates?
Have you tried it? The result????
Thank You for the tips
My problem now in my melon plants

THANK YOU 🙏 FOR SHARING THIS WITH US 💕🌸🌼🌺
I shared the video b4 even finished watching it. Something I've been looking for, long time!
Very informative video but after watching I now want to go to Duncan Donuts , this is very strange , no ?
Thank you for this helpful information and also for encouraging environmentally healthy ways of dealing with gardening issues. Many people are throwing away their dangerous chemical pesticides in favor of healthy alternatives like Neem oil, every little bit helps if we are to save our planet.
And ourselves!!
Neem oil is not ideal if you are planning to consume the plant in any way,…I would recommend only using it before flower or fruit sets..it has a tendency to also repel beneficial pest but it is effective at repelling pest. Baking soda is a great organic pesticide and fungicide thank you for sharing
It’s not just about saving the planet, it’s saving the people and animals from horrible disease caused by introducing pesticides to the food sources we ingest!
@sharonlinford7407 Can we use this organic pesticide with micronutrient together and spray ?
Outstanding video. I can actually understand you with no problem. Thanks for that.

Ok, it actually works!!!!!! It kills all the eggs, but not all the insects. I just need to repeat this.. Thank you so much!
You are an angel, please stay safe and healthy.
I will try this yet. We have plant destroyers like what you've mentioned
