Very proud to have been a part of this.
Your voice is flawless
How many takes did you have to do to get the emotion right? The part where he looks down at the quarter and asks him call it, the crack in your voice and the cadence fits his resolve that he is going to have to kill the station owner if the owner calls it wrong. It was perfect. Also, did you eat a candy bar while doing this to match the original?
And we’re all the better for you having done so. Ace stuff.
FaceTubeU I didn’t do too many takes. I’m a perfectionist by nature, but being a professional voice actor for the past 13 years, I’ve done enough ADR(dubbing) to know the emotion in a scene and try to match it. I get to double for a lot of Hollywood actors and it’s a lot of fun. What I’m going for is not an Impression, but a seamless match to what the scene calls for. It’s a fun thing to do.
I did eat peanuts to match it and the breathing. It was fun. Big props to Alex Walker Smith for the audio mix.
Your impression is so spot on i thought arnie was impersonating you lol!! Well done bro! You have mad talent😎
"Just call it"
"We need to know what we're calling it for"
"Your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle"
YES! Perfect response!
Hell yeah! 🤣🤣
You forgot to say "please".
😅😅
Yes yes yes!!!!
The actor that played the cashier is so nuanced with his fear and discomfort that he sells the scene.
yes, he sold it for 69 cents.
Thats called great acting
Thanks for calling out. I repeated this scene twice when I first watched the movie because I enjoyed his acting that much.
Character actor Gene Jones. He also did many pedestrian voices in RDR2
Sweet Dave
From hateful 8
Loved his work in both films
We need a movie where everyone is deepfaked into Arnold. Animals included.
LMFAO !!!
Animals included hahahahaha
😂
That's some cosmic horror shit

hahhaahha amazing, the voice is also like 99.99 % Arnolds
Nail it... am I the only ones who had notice that this could turn into another million dollars money-making industry ? 😬 😷

Honestly that scene was just as intense as it was originally. Well-done guys
Yes it was
Was it tho?
@@bankylaw3745 Flip a coin. Let's find out !!!!!!!
I thought at a moment he would shoot him like in western movies as it was so intense…. ( I don’t know original movie)
This is from “No Country for Old Men”. It’s one of my favorite movies and yes, this is a scary scene.
Arnold looks like He-Man with this haircut.
Arnold would've been a good choice for He-Man.
lol he does
Interesting observation as I remember hearing a story that he-man figures were the result of lack of sales of conan toys so they repurposed the molds or something like that.
He-Man Film reboot confirmed!!
We need Arnold as He-Man singing "What's going on." Pleaseeeee! :)

Great writing.
Glad Arnold got his oscar for this performance. Well deserved.
agreed
The voice actors in all three are just PERFECT, however Arnolds appearance is the most believable here.
@Lee Sun hun v chai no it's voice actors.
@Lee Sun hun v chai it's a voice actor. Nice try making shit up though
This voice actor was terrible! It actually sounded like he was putting emotion and thought into the words he was saying. Arnold would never do that!
@@anti0918 Arnold is capable of doing a good performance, his performance in Maggie is proof of that.
@Lee Sun hun v chai the voice actor is literally credited in the video, there are links to his channel. How are you so stupid?

HA HA HA 👊🏻
Haha awesome 😂
What's amazing about Javier Bardem's performance is you can put someone else's face on him and his performance is still just as awesome. Superb acting.
That scene has always gave me chills. I don't think anyone could do it better than Javier did.
The voice actor is on point 100% Arnold lmfao
Because it *IS* him 😋😉
@@sukhmaidickoff or Joe Gaudet
It's pretty easy to do a loud shouty Arnold but I was impressed with the way he got the quiet, reserved parts down.
Agreed! He should resound Arnold in MK11. That would be awesome.

That "Didn't mean nothing" was so funny in Arnold's voice 😂😂
Fuckin pissed myself on that part
"Itz yoo luckee QUHAURTUH!"
😂😂
Have Arnold do the "Tears in Rain" speech from Blade Runner
Yes!!!!
Please don't, that scene is too sacred to do this
I could be wrong, but I suspect that would be brutally difficult to pull off because of the rain hitting the face. But who knows--this video does a phenomenal job of matching the direction, color, and overall quality of light from the window, so maybe these guys could make it happen. Still, I suspect that matching lighting is far easier than matching elements that interact with the face directly.
Lu Qiren Do you mean sacred?
@@fcj_5615 Yeah...... LOL, damn it these two words are so similar

Agreed. I could rewatch the whole movie this way.

If someone's as good as his job as Anton, he could be from the North Pole as long as he got me my money back.
Watching this over and over while recording for this has made me appreciate how amazing an actor Gene Jones(gas station attendant) is. What a brilliant performance he gave in this.
The Coens always find fantastic bit-part actors- and have great roles for them to play. I always loved the trailer park manager in NCFOM: the one that almost seems to get the better of Chighur.
To me he just acted normal and apprehensive. Kinda nervous, but I think that was an easy performance, because the emotion is projected on him by Shukar without needing to improv in really any way for himself. It would be different if it wasn't an awkward situation where the old timer has to think for himself.
Monk Kenyon Gene Jones is an amazing actor.
@@JoeGaudet Liked his acting, but everything was provided here.
Always thought the same thing! He totally held is own against Javier Bardem. Which not many can do. Great work, my friend!!
The scariest thing here is Schwarzenegger acting this fine
Yup, the only inauthentic thing about this is that it makes arnie look like a real actor..
How dare you
I have reported your post as fallacious lies
This guy has never seen Kindergarten Cop.
He got a Golden Globe once.
The voice over for Arnold is spot on, I honestly was thinking what computer program did you use to replicate the voice
I suspect either Nancy Pelosi or Rosie Odonnal.
The dude doing his voice has absolutely nailed it, its uncanny.
These are getting more and more sophisticated, and it's terrifying.
I've seen cgi in blockbusters that aren't even as good as these.
and amazing too.
@Smitty seriously?
@Smitty The terrifying part is how easy it will become to impersonate ANYONE. It can potentially lead to fraudulent behavior. Imagine someone impersonating you, and there's no way to prove it isn't you!
Video evidence is now a thing of the past...
It's almost creepier with the Arnold style of voice. It feels more mocking.
Agree, and More aggressive

the original scene was too
I'm disturbed by the fact that I liked this a lot.
LOL
Why? What does that even mean?
@@damon22441 I'd like to be 100% against it. The next move is what Arnie showed us in The Running Man where the face of "Ben Richards" (Arnie) is placed onto someone else. The government will definitely use this technology.

I hope you paid that voice actor well, he earned it.
If he was only sent as Chigurh after Sarah Connor.. She would be Terminated
OMG Chigurh was a kind of Terminator before T800.
Joe Gaudet knocked it out of the park! Amazing voice acting skills, not just sounded like but delivered the lines perfectly
Is it weird, that this frightens me even more than the original? :-)
nope.
"Hasta la vista, frendo", I can't think a better way to close this.. great Schwarzenegger voice by the way.

I can imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger becoming a method actor just for this role.
It's perfect ...........just perfect. 10/10
A method actor...like being a psychopathic serial killer?
One of the most subtly terrifying scenes in movie history in my opinion and this nailes it.

fightTIPS I’m glad I could voice Arnold in this to show “what if”.
Emotionally (or lack thereof) it is very Terminator-esque. Both cold blooded killers with no empathy.
Technically neither Javier nor Arnie are good for the character as it's Woody Harrelson's father
Wrong. They missed casting Javier as the terminator 😝
If this movie was made in the actual 80s Arnold would’ve been a pretty good fit lol

One more thing that’s impressive is the audio mix. They didn’t have separate tracks from the store owner and Chigur, and yet everything is seemless. Great job!

@@RealEyezRealLiez but he won't talk this much, nor playing a cion game, he'll just ask what he want and kill. That's not the tune for this movie
Much better than the original. "It's been traveling for 22 yearz and now it's hiya".
Arnold's was the best but they were all gud, well done!
The voice is Arnold's but it feels very off, like most of his tones are a copy paste from the original voice in the scene, I would prefer to hear Arnold with his own intonation, having said that, I understand that it may be impossible to do that because it wouldn't match his face expressions.
If... somehow his faces would resemble the Terminator, then fine, but it wouldn't match his body language, then again, up until that point it would be good enough, we need to change the software so that we can mess a bit with the original face expression at some points, like record ourselves and edit the face wherever we want.
The movie was similar to The Terminator so this is very fitting.
Hasta la vista friendo!
