- Dark Matter episode 3 has recently been released, and let me tell you: it was definitely a step up, especially with the end sequence that revealed something I have been dying to know: will there be more than two realities and more than two Jasons? The end tells me yes to both of these questions. The episode also revealed the birth certificate of one Maximilian Dessen. Apparently, Charlie had a twin that died. We have to talk about what this means and what Jason2 will do to find out more about this!

Lavender Fairy is a reference to "chasing the green fairy" which was attributed to the trip you would go on when you drank absinthe. We have since learned that that myth may be just that, but I believe it symbolizes leaving the life you knew and endeavoring into a universe of possibilities
I agree, Jason #1 being seemingly unphased by Daniela's death was really strange and out of character.
I think your theory is on point. Maybe there will be complications with Daniela 1 *wanting* to believe that Jason 2 is the real one!

I think youre right, especially with the theory of going back to his reality and having to convince Daniela. Maybe details like the lifechanging trip with Charly (wich Jason 2 didnt experience) could potencially convince her.
Man this the episode that hooked me in. The first 2 episodes lead me to believe this was gonna be more of a Mystery/Drama focused more on the love story and the sci fi part would be minimalized, but ep 3 flipped it on on its head and I got my sci fi fix. That Box is cool AF! And the 2 big reveals at the end blew my mind. I cant wait for ep4. Im so glad we got a lot of answer early in the series. a lot of this Info we got I wasnt expecting until maybe episode 5 or 6.
I agree so much!! Especially about getting answers. I don't really like when shows just dump mystery after mystery on you and don't explain anything. Dark Matter has a great pace imo 👏
It's an adaptation of a popular sci fi book,its focus will be on sci fi,not relationships.
They cancelled constellation ???? That sucks. This one is solid and even more interesting but I could see them cancelling this too unless there is no resolution to Jason 1’s problem

I was so bummed out when I heard this. I loved Constellation too.
Constellation was SOOO DAMN GOOD, i dont know what insane decision caused that to be cancelled hardcore sci fi fans have experienced this too much recently with both scavengers reign and Raised by wolves also getting the can, with all the garbage thats being funded in hollywood u cant tell me there isnt room for quality sci fi.
I loved that show as well but Apple keeps cancelling good shows :/
