I'm using this Fosi k5 pro with the Dt 1990 pro both on Ps5 and on Pc, and they sound really good. In my opinion this Dac Amp manages to drive the 250 ohms of the dt 1990 pro so good

Tell, plz, is this AMP good for music on PC? I bought Philips SHP 9500 and pc's standard Audio cheap (Realtek on motherboard) doesn't give good sound quality.
And is it possible to connect this amp to pc via only usb (without another components)?

Hi, I have a Marantz CD6005 cd player, can I connect using coaxial cable from the Marantz to the coaxial input on the Fosi K5 Pro?
I've heard that this DAC works great without any latency with mic monitoring/sidetone (activated in the Windows Audio settings). Is this something you or any other can confirm? I have the Drop/Sennheiser PC38x and would like to use sidetone for gaming.

while using the splitter for headset, was the left/right channels sounding correct? Or there were some issue?

Can I connect this to a pre amp or should I connect to an amp? Bought a pair of 599's and connected them to the k5. I set the treble and bass knobs at 0 (12 o' clock) and the headphones sounded low and muddy. After listening for about 45 mins straight I did not like the audio and was wondering if they needed more power or if the headphones themselves are meant to sound like that.

Sorry to bother you, but I've recently bought this Amp/DAC and I'm really struggling to get it working properly. I'm trying to use DT990 Pro (250ohm) headphones, I have all of my sounds, apps and amp included at 100 it's still too quiet. When you used your 250ohm headphones, how did you have the Amp set up? I'm using just the USB-C connection, is that incorrect?

Do t have the Shiit to compare. Somewhere on this channel might though. I agree, the DT 1990 will want something like the k5 or similar to make them really perform.

I'm having issues with my seinheiser game one headphone/mic and discord. My voice input is very low and I have gone through all my windows 11 volume controls and discord, everything is maxed out, mic is close to my mouth but still people can't hear me loud enough. It is very frustrating. Would this K5 pro help improve my voice volume output?

Hello there. What do you think of KZ ZAX with FOSI K5 PRO? I heard there are issues with the mic for the KZ Pro from other videos.... EPOS GSX 300 or Fosi K5 Pro?
Have them both - haven’t tried them. Haven’t had mic issues but use it mostly for Cans and less for mic use.

It hasn't for me. Right now it's been on my desk playing for a little over 1 hour and no heat output, not even warm.

Either are good brands. Although, I don’t have the fulla to compare.
What connection is the best to use when connecting to the PC since it has so many? Do they all deliver same quality?
They won’t necessarily all have the same quality, but of course USB is the easiest.

This will be a good combo. The Monitor 80 does have a slightly sunk 3.5mm plug so you'll just want to be sure the boompro doesn't have a fat plug grip on it. I think it would be OK looking at the photos but don't own the boompro to test.

Great headphones! The K5 would be great with that set up. Affordable but will lift the X1S nicely.

How do you switch from Headphone to RCA out?
Old coment, but here we go. You have to unplug the headphone, as the RCA out gets muted, if a headphone is pluged in.

I have the older model I think it’s called (Q5) with only the headphone jack no mic. I bought it to drive the G pro X to it limits and it made the headset even more powerful and A LOT clearer. plus i hate softwares and this DAC surly doesn’t need one.
Edit: fyi using optical will make you set the sound to 192khz in PC while in usb it will be 48khz. I don’t know if the new model gave it a chance with the usb c. Mine is old with 2 usbs one for power other for sound.

@@holdonL i have both the Studio pro 10 and A71. I didn't purchase the fosi yet but I don't believe the headset boom pro would work on this. Both 3.5 jacks are TRS. What u need is TRRS that support BOTH mic and audio in one jack. I've yet to find such amplifier that supports it. So ur better off getting a separate non-headset mic. (Like a USB or 3.5 mic only jack) u could still use it tho, i have an ESync Amplifier purchased on Amazon, the way i did it is I plug in the boom pro into the input jack and the audio cable (comes with it) In the output port of the amplifier. It worked that way because the mic doesn't go thru the amplifier box. The unfortunate part of it that it's not on your headphones as intended.

Just bought dt990 pro 250 ohm and I am looking for an amp + I’m not willing to spend that much money on it. Is there a better option than this?
This is the best one for the money. I've looked around and there aren't any good amps or DACs for cheaper than this

No that’s not a need I have but I’m sure it would do okay. It’s just such a nice desktop size.
my friends have said my microphone sounds worse after using this dac, is there a way to change it or remedy it?
This is because it rolls off heavily in the bass and treble, I measured it and its quite poor indeed
I would have loved to see 2 USB inputs so you can run PC and PS5 and just switch to whichever you wanted to use at the time

I’m a music producer but I do have one question for anybody willing to answer.
I have a Cadillac with the 36 speaker Bose panaray system that allows up to 24 bit - 96 kHz FLAC files to be played through the infotainment system, I also have an iPhone 13 with Apple Music lossless (16 bit CD) quality & 24 bit (Studio quality) ALAC output, if I use the fosi K5 pro to pass through connect my iPhone to the fosi onto the infotainment, will it have a true 24 bit output coming from the speakers?

Did you use the splitter included in the box for it? That's really odd if the hyper X has a dedicated mic on them.
