PlayStation 4 METHOD!
1. Close app if you have it running
2. Go to your Library
3. Choose Purchased
4. Select MW
5. Scroll down to Playstation Store and then scroll to the right and open My Add ons
6. Find the content that needs installed and install it
7. When the download finishes, let your new content install and restart your game

Yeah stick in the disc and play happy days job done now we’re jumping through copious challenges and loops just to play a game that at the end of all that you can’t be fucked to play anymore
OK…here’s my experience working from the disc on a PS5…bottom line it works…but after I’d downloaded everything, just the multiplayer worked, not the co-op or the campaign then went into restore licenses. Now everything works. Thank you!

To anyone who is still having trouble with this, then you should try not exiting the game and stay at its menu where it shows campaign, multi and co-op while the packs download. It worked for me. (Disk version-PS5) ( IT ALSO MENTIONS) in the game installs "Please do not close the game until the dlc finishes installing".
(update of my next day experience) It tells me I don't have some packs. This is silly, but if you close the app and reopen it should work as it just did for me. (Make sure you are on the account that you followed the steps with as it doesn't register with other accounts)

To play the Campaign on the PS4, besides obviously downloading the Campaign Pack, you’ll also need the Special Ops Pack AND the Campaign/Special Ops Compatibility Pack. After downloading all these GB’s, hit the Circle button a few times to get into the black opening screen and hit X button to start and it will read the HDD again and then works. Same workaround (download “only” 2 DLC’s) probably applies to play the Multiplayer section.
I just figured it out for myself. For me, I went on my buddy’s account who had the game as well and was able to download all the packs that would not show up
i did what u said with manage game content and i restored licenses but now instead of working i try load up the game and it said “failed to connect to game services” so i try go offline and play campaign and it says im missing the campaign and special ops dlc thing i properly got robbed by activision

@@calebjalca1876 i fixed mine now, turns out that i still have the digital version downloaded in my library (i used to have warzone 1 thats why) and its making it impossible for the disk to install multiplayer pack 1 🤦.
@@calebjalca1876 the multiplayer pack 1 comes with the disk, you dont need to install it in the addons

I had the same problem. I deleted a game and created a new PlayStation account in the same language as the disc or purchase. I created a new Activision account. The problem with the Multiplayer mode and any other problems was fixed. Then I entered my official account. Progress and weapons were restored and everything worked properly.

I’m doing the campaign and the campaign pack is fully installed and it still want let me play it I’ve done tried everything for it to work and it still want unlock or let me play the campaign for some reason
Hey man i have MW3 bought back in November 2023. I havent played in months so i decided let me get back online since i been away. I downloaded season 2 all of the addons multiplayer,warzone,campain etc but they are still locked and it telling me to buy those verisons even though i bought it back in November. Again i updated the season downloaded the addons and im still locked out can you help activision is giving me a hard time.

so i download all the dlc on the store but somehow the multiplayer pack 1 is not available on the store.Like it disappears.and i cant find it anywhere.I hv installed this game last year and i can play mp back then.But now i try to revisit but the one pack is simply gone.I try searching it in game libraby,ps store,add ons but its nowhere to be found.How to find the mp pack 1 please i really want to olay this game.im on ps4 btw

Solution to missing dlc on call of duty modern warfare1
1) create a Activision account
2) link your Activision account to your PlayStation account that is of the same region with your disk..
3) make sure your disk is of the same region with your PlayStation account..
4) download the main game and the update
5) make sure your call of duty is up to the latest version, i think the latest version as of now is 1.67
6) launch your call of duty after downloading, it will now prompt you to sign in your Activision account but because you have linked your PlayStation account to your Activision account it won't ask you to sign in, it will just skip the sign in and ask you whether you want to activate two step verification, then you click later.. then it will now start connecting online then checking for update, cancel the "checking for update" it will bring you to the page of where you select campaign to play your campaign.. when you click campaign to play instead it tells you that your campaign dlc pack is missing it will load up all the dlc you need to download, make sure you download all and you are good to go...
I’m gonna try it but it keep saying you need to buy modern warfare to play it even after I install every single pack so i hope it works I really gave a lot of money in that game
To anyone still having this problem, I solved it by going onto the account that was game sharing it with me and downloading it through them.
I have tried everything and everything on my ps5 is download except multipleyer... it wont download it. I get * somethong went wrong* i have the disc version. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the gsme and redownloaded all the pack except multiplayer. Ive redid licenses to. Im at a loss and activison was no help..

Guys, please help. I'm experiencing the same thing. I tried to press R3 to manage installs, but it says, "The store is currently unavailable." But then I tried going going down to see the add ons, but I did not see an option for the add ons that are required for the game. I even tried to go to the ps store and see if they would offer it to me on the digital version of the game but to no avail. I am very frustrated by this inconvenience because given by how Call of Duty is going, the only one I have enjoyed greatly is this game, and now I can't even play it anymore. Can someone please help with this issue.

first thing is that I'm pretty sure you need the disc to even play it anymore, digitally u cant, even if you had it before.
Secondly, I went into MW add-ons from the library, saw that there were MW2 and Warzone packs, but at the very very bottom were the MW packs. You'll require some fiddling around but eventually ull be able to play.
Godd luck bro, just keep going to every place u can think of related to COD in your console. You'll find them somewhere (only if you have the disc version)

One day I woke up the game was deleted of my console so I re downloaded it & all the packs I loaded up the game & it said “installation suspended” deleted all the packs again and redownloaded them & noticed every time I would load up the game “multiplayer & spec ops pack” & “multiplayer pack 2” would delete everytime I load up the game it’s been doing this since September idk what to do, I redownloaded the packs so many times & they keep deleting every time I start the game up..

Here's what happens: Once all downloads are completed, and I start the game, all installed multiplayer packs disappear, and I have to reinstall them. I have no idea why this is happening, and I haven't come across any similar cases.
Additionally, I can't download the game content through the in-game shop as it is not available.
Furthermore, I noticed that I have different Multiplayer-Packs compared to what you showed in the video. I have up to 5 multiplayer packs.
Do you have any suggestions on what else I could try? I've already watched your other videos and attempted various solutions, but unfortunately, none have been successful.

Yes, it does indeed work, but the only thing that I did not do and it still worked is whenever he downloaded all the things that were related to multiplayer. All I did was download multiplayer pack two and the other one he said to download and then it worked if it does not work, then he said, restore your licenses and then it should work also but if it still doesn’t work, then just uninstall at this point

I have fixed the problem it was very easy for me it caused me trouble at first but now I'm able to play multiplayer
they made this game hard to play because its the best one. would be pulling from the Modern warfare 3 player base. thats also why they called it the same exact name, its all intentional

I just found how to fix this issue, so basically you just have to download the 2 multiplayer packs from the game and NOT from the game manage content bcs if you install these packs they will automatically delete themselves after it's downloaded also same thing with the campaign and the special ops, your welcome

Call of duty access you need a Activision account which is ass to play Call of Duty and install problems even buying a disc . Waste of money for Call of duty you kind of don’t own the game you should have all the content and should be all installed . Activision bs
