Gotta get Jean Claude Van Damme on the show too. We gotta hear his side of the story too 👍
Yes!
@@bernardwilliams4071 Fuck yeah dude
Yes, we need to hear from JCVD, it would be epic to have Sheldon and Master Frank on the same show! Great work Brother Viking!
@mUTED MATRIX he's been in reach for quite a while now maybe a year now all he could have done or still do is just kindly as Sheldon Lettich to call or shoot JCVD a quick text and tell him: "hey I got this friend online on RUclips that would like to have you on his show" that's all man it's not hard to ask 👍😂 I ask my contacts all the time and I get Access All Area passes to my shows and get to hang out backstage in the dressing room and such with bands
@@antoniocapulera yeah, there's 3 sides to a story I always tell people, his side, Van Damme's side and the truth 👍
Frank's choreography of fake fights is unprecedented. He has more experience with fake fighting than anyone I know.
@snow white What are you on about? The only person that’s been talking about “snuff films” is Frank Dux who claims the following:
1. Chong Li was a real person that murdered an opponent in a Kumite
2. Others died in these Kumite’s
3. Men were launched off of 2-3 storey buildings with one who died in front of Dux
4. The entire thing was filmed from multiple angles and was sponsored by Fuji film
Nobody seems to be asking Frank why he talks about honor while simultaneously bragging about participating in what can only be described as snuff films if they actually existed.
An expert in the realm of the pretend imaginary and made up.
Do you know many?
Snuff enough
I love the story his ex friend told, “he asked to me toake him to a Forrest, he was carrying a huge bulky over shoulder bag, he said to pick him up in 3 days, which I did, he walked out the Forrest with a trophy in one hand and a slightly smaller bag in the other…” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
In all fairness, this was a good interview. Im glad that he gives credit to JCVD for his work ethic, hunger, and perfectionism. Kudos to you, for having such an amazing channel.
Indeed. David AKA Viking Samurai really deserves an award for his authenticity, seriously.
@@abrahamchisomonamasasu lame
Of course he does he doesn't want to get the Shit sued out of him.. that says nothing about him
I appreciate that Frank was so open and willing to share the experiences of helping bring Bloodsport to life. That movie is still one of my favorite martial arts movies of all time.
JCVD could already do kicks no one else on the planet could do…and was a ridiculously sculpted body builder. Yet Frank says they told him “we want you to get him to look like you”. Are you kidding?
Amazing video, Van Damme and Dux created amazing fights together!
Dux backtracks his answer when he realises he's not taking credit for something 😂 you can literally see his brain recalibrate 😂😂
💯
It’s so funny
I'm pretty sure Frank Dux said that, and you just took inspiration from it.
this is brilliant. I'm struggling to see a reason to interview a known proven compulsive liar, and on a grand scale at that. Asking such a person any questions seems like a futile endeavour.
Dux is the kind of guy that would tell you it was his idea for Jean Claude to change his name to Van Damme...
But hold on, Van Damme looked awesome in no retreat no surrender. People forget this. He could do all of it including long complex movements. Who did the choreography for No Retreat No Surrender? We need Kurt on to possibly clarify what went on during set. Don’t forget Van Damme had already spent quite a bit of time with Chuck Norris too before all this and learnt a lot from him both on and off screen.
Here’s Frank’s quote and what he’d been saying about JCVD right up until this interview:
“He was very stiff. He had a karate background. But, I mean, he couldn’t do a forward roll when I first got him. He frickin’ landed on his head, in front of all my students. Are you kidding me? I mean, he couldn’t do a throw. You try to get him to do a judo throw and he couldn’t throw anybody. He was good at boxing. He was good at stiff karate moves, but that was it. “
Does that jive with No Retreat, No Surrender or Black Eagle? Does that make sense considering there’s footage and photos (like those in the beginning of this video) showing JCVD doing the splits, doing an assortment of flying kicks, etc. He does the jumping side kick off of a kneeling person in No Retreat long before doing it off the referee in Bloodsport.
It’s just more lies and exaggerating by Dux.
@@osiris3550 completly agree. actually what we saw from Van Damme on Bloodsports was a continuation of his already impressive roles on 'No retreat, no surrender' and 'Black Eagle' in both those movies you could already see that the dude was very impressive.
I was thinking the same while watching the video. And I also doubt it was about JCVD not being well known why it took two years to bring out the movie. From the moment where he comes in No Retreat no Surrender and Black Eagle JCVD took over the movie. In other words, he already knew how to present himself and I was already a big fan.
@@kreten7775 Exactly! No Retreat was stacked with accomplished martial artists yet JCVD stood out the first time I saw it. He clearly could do things non of the other guys could. He had that star quality about him.
Another thing that’s annoying is how they always show that one photo allegedly of Dux from a side angle with a fist out to show how much Jean Claude looked exactly like Dux.
What bullshit. That one photo is the only one where he looks even remotely like Van Damme. In every other photo of Frank he looks so much different than JCVD it’s like…wtf are people on that agree with this stuff?
They couldn’t look less alike.
That photo has of Dux has one thing in common with every photo of JCVD in that it looks nothing like Dux either.
BTW - I reached out to Sebastien Cadoret, son of Philippe Cardoret to let him know that Frank’s back at it claiming fight footage of Philippe is Dux in a Kumite. I hope he follows through with previous statements that he will sue Frank for stealing his fathers identity.
Yup. This guy a tool
JCVD was already a dynamic martial arts guy. An enthusiastic extra as demonstrated in Breakin’, where he’s seen dancing in the background of the street dancing scene. Of course, his brief scenes in No Retreat No Surrender was the spark that made martial arts movie fans really take notice of that “new guy”.
Been waiting so much excited for this segment, thank you very much boss! I was really looking forward to hear this story about the training regiment, since JC never looked better. 👏
Thank you for giving Frank a platform to explain his side of things. 🙏🏼
dude please tell me you dont believe this shit haha
@@Ladosligese I listen to all sides of a story. I’m not an idiot that just believes the main narrative.
@@TheMicahwitz Then consider a flat earth theory too, you aren't an idiot to just believe round earth mainstream theory, right ? Lol
@@gio7796 Why? I’d spend as much time on flat earth as I do the idea that we came from monkeys. 😆😆😆😆😁😁 Both are garbage arguments .
@@Ladosligese I think Frank lies about a lot, but I wouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Dude still did a great job of choreographing Blood Sport. As a former investigator I like to hear all sides of a story before I make up my mind.
Even say if Frank is completely full of BS, he got Hollywood to turn his fantasy into a film and it's arguably the greatest martial arts of all time so I'm kind of grateful for that. Great interview
the main thing i appreciate is the different style being represented on fairly equal standing. Bruce Lee movies was just him being superhuman.
If?
Blood sport is my favourite movie. Love this interview to find out origins of training van damme.
What a great interview! Wow! Thank you Viking Samurai! Thank you Frank Dux! Regardless all the dirt online, Frank is a legend. And his version does not influence JCVD ethos. I would like to hear Mr. Dux more often. Greetings!
comon Frank is full of shit haha
Great interview with Frank Dux, Viking! I love the behind the scene content of Bloodsport👏👍👍
I think if any other actor played the part it would not have turned out the way it had . The movie was all carried by van dams charisma and magnetism.
What about someone like Rip Taylor ?
Van Damme could not be a kumite fighter because such a tournament did not exist. Ironically, Van Damme was an actual competitor.
Shut up, you hater !! Of course, it existed !!! Only now dosent go by the name"Kumite", it goes by The King of Iron Fist Tournament aka Tekken and its organist and is controlled by Heihachi Mishima ... and previous to that it was known as Mortal Kombat and was run by Shao Khan but the Elder Gods didn´t like that ...
I can't believe this guys really said he had to train JCVD for the split scene... This guy is full of himself.
That was jean claudes idea. ' it was a good idea'..... That was my idea..
Love this guy.
Cool interview. It was interesting learning about the training side of things. That part were Dux goes down to punch the knees was awesome too!!, i remember seeing that bit for the first time and thinking wow you don't see that kind of thing in other movies (not that i did anyway). Same with that bit were Dux kicks Packo's attacking leg away then kicks his other supporting leg right in the weak spot to knock him down in one swift flowing action. Simply brilliant!!. The reason Van Damme movies are i feel the best and unique are the fact that the fight scenes are not complicated, but effective easy to follow and see whats happening and you can feel the impacts, the moves are graceful and the angles are spot on. Not too mention the slowmo, holding poses and noises after a particularly powerful and well placed hit. Just gives me the shivers!!!, can't beat them!!!
Hahahahaha
All these videos of Frank Dux you're putting up are awesome. Thank you @Viking Samurai. I still can't believe you got to interview the real Dux on your channel. That is so awesome. Thank you Frank for agreeing to do this. We all appreciate it.
One of the biggest charlatans in martial arts history?
@@robertjacobsen3742 you are one of those people who never give credit where credit is due, but as soon as someone says something negative, you run with it. Is this how you go about trying to feel good about yourself throughout your days? Always negative waiting for the next opportunity to jump in and give your next negative opinion in hopes to get attention and win the approval of people. Do you roll your eyes and tilt your head much?
@@StrayDogTheExposer No offense, but you are completely clueless about Dux. If you want I can link several videos where he gets thoroughly exposed. Have you done the math on the tournament and having 64 fights in a single elimination tournament? Just so you know there aren't enough people on earth for that to have happened. It is common knowledge that this guy is a bullshit artist. As for your personal attacks, whatever.
@@robertjacobsen3742 I've seen all the videos. What I've never seen is Franks side of the story. I think he's doing a fine job explaining every story VS has asked about so far. Have you watched the whole interview or did you just jump in this one video for the sake of making a trashy comment? It sounds like you already had your mind made up before watching, so how can you even form an unbiased opinion?
@@StrayDogTheExposer Did he explain how the population made it possible for a 64 man single elimanation tournament? I didn't watch any of the video. His stories have been debunked, his side is just another form of his old lies.
I really enjoy these Frank Dux and Sheldon Lettich interview segments!
I loved these series of interviews with Master Dux . Thank you BROTHER 👍🙏
I want to see Master Frank and JCVD make up! I’ll be sending good energy to the channel to possibly see our hero’s reunite once again.
Man once again Thank you for all this awesome content. Your channel is a love letter for us martial arts fans.
I wish one day the Man, the Legend himself, my Childhood and Now Aduldhood Hero, JCVD will make an appereance to your channel cauze YOU deserve to have a "go" with your Childhood hero as well as having this incredible channel grow even more.

Love the insight on Bloodsport that he gives us.

I watched "LIONHEART" the other night on the Pluto app. MAN, THAT IS STILL A GREAT MOVIE!
So amazing!
It's very nice of you that Frank have chance to say his side of Story
Hi Viking Samurai, Definitely another Great interview with Mr. Dux , is good to hear him giving credit to JCVD, can't wait to the second part of this interview, can't wait to see your next guest, God bless you, your family and your guest! 🙏🙏
You gotta get Van Damme on this channel!! Or one of his kids or something. He might have more time on his hands now that he'll retire after his next movie.
these interviews are amazing love it
Great interview. Definitely give Mr dux credit for the movie. Definitely try and get vandamme on the show. Great interview by Viking samuri
This channel has come along beautifully well done sir 👏
Hey Viking Samurai- I don't know if you'll see this, but I just want to say that you have an awesome channel- I love the 80s 90s action/martial arts stars - I used to watch all the JCVD, Bruce Lee, Stallone, Arnold movies with my older brother growing up-- and finding your channel and audience is like finding your crew in the universe. You're uniting the world! Keep it up- the content is always interesting!
Good interview with Frank Dux. Also Van Damme really got the flexing muscles and the facial expressions in the fight scenes from Bruce Lee. Because Bruce Lee did facial expressions and flexing his muscles in fight scenes in his (Bruce Lee) movies. That's why Bruce Lee is the goat because he laid out a blue brint on how to shoot these great martial arts film.
"Bruce Lee could only do 2 or 3 moves and then he'd have to stop the camera"??? Has he ever even watched Bruce Lee?? He has many fight scenes where he goes 10 moves or more in a row.
We have footage of Dux slipping and falling after breaking candy glass bottles, isn’t that enough to convince you?
He actually says many things to disparage Bruce AND Chuck Norris of you follow his interviews.
@@osiris3550 Yep this is all true

This one question I would have loved to asked
The Frank is talking that he's better than Bruce Lee and Van
Why didn't he star in bloodsport and why didn't he go on to have a big career in action films
Because he's a fraud. Everything he says is a lie. Him saying that he trained van Damme is laughable. This dude is proven to be a liar. Newt Arnold saw van Damme in no retreat no surrender and wanted him. Frank claiming to be in this fake kumite is old news and this dude still lies.
Good interview. I still have my reservations about the legitimacy of many of his claims, but it's interesting to hear all the same. Totally disagree with his interpretation of Bruce Lee's fight scenes though - Bruce was far from a 1-2 moves then cut away/edit another angle .. He was a huge proponent of showcasing techniques to its fullest in the one frame.
Frank is not Japanese…..”HE IS NOT A TANAKA”
Neta? I never noticed 😆
Thank you for letting Frank Dux talk for himself. Great interview! I would one day like to hear him talk about a movie he was in. Like "get the terrorists" for example.
I have loved all the frank dux interviews they are my favorite. It would be amazing if you could get JCVD on your show as a fan that would be mid blowing especially. It would be great if you could get Frank and JCVD at the same time lol that would be iconic. great work on your channel.
He is such a liar lol. First the poses are van dammes idea, then when the host mentions it a big part of the choreography he claims he did it first and van damme copied him. Those poses are clearly from van dammes body building background. True martial artists dont do silly poses or tense up like that.
It’s true. Here we have an example of how Dux mind works in real time. He lies like nobodies business and the moment he sees any credit given out to anybody but him he has to steal it.
It’s clearly how he’s built his stories, but we got to see one get created while he was live on the spot.
I'm loving the Frank Dux stuff! Keep it coming!
i really hope we see JCVD on the channel.
I'll be getting his son Kris soon, spoke to him earlier on the phone today.
@@VikingSamurai oh wow that's great Kris would be unreal to hear on your platform 👏

Great interview and Frank Dux seems like a cool dude 👍
Frank Dux is great at telling a story. I can listen to him talk all day. If he was a car salesman he would be king. Keep up the fire brother
I love Frank Dux AND Jean Claude !!!
What an awesome interview - To see Frank Dux give details of how he worked with Van Damme and also show his affection in some parts and you (The Viking) jumping in and asking about choreography and getting the juicy details is just legendary. Love this. A thought that came up while seeing this imagine a movie with Van Damme and Dudikoff starring together, maybe a martial arts cop drama. I also definitely would love to see Van Damme team up with Dux again on another movie. These guys are still young enough to churn out more classics, we just need a good studio to sign them up.- Im totally looking forward to your next video with the LIONHEART stuff.
Erm Van Damme sued Frank Dux mate.....
Van Damme is a great Martial Artist. Frank Dux said that Bruce Lee only made one or two moves and stop? He needs to watch the Dojo scene in Fist of Fury in which Bruce Lee did 8 kicks none stop. If he did stop filming Is because he was a perfectionist and wanted everything perfect. All this being said I am Glad Van Damme was in Bloodsport cause anyone else it would not work. I remember my friends coming to my house and tell me that they saw No Retreat No Surrender. They told me the movie was low budget and the movie was ok but the Russian Guy was great and he is going to be a star. They were correct, Van Damme was a star. Thanks for posting.
Aweose episode ! Some good trivia here.
Please take interview of Claude Goetz who was JCVD's instructor.Dominique Valera who was a legendary French kickboxer and instructor was JCVDs trainer.Valera also trained Olivier Gruner who was a kickboxer and Action movie star.
Van Damme trained at Muay Thai Academy in north Hollywood California for the movie. We have all the pictures of the training for the movie. It’s the first Muay Thai Gym outside of Thailand in the world
Dida Diafat was the sparring partner of Van Damme who was a champion kickboxer and Muay Thai legend.
Frank choreographed it all including the part with Bolo hoping up and down like a bunny...that was one of the most memorable bits in the movie
Fascinating. I would love a full on documentary on the making of Bloodsport. Viking Samurai could produce and write it.
I've been waiting for this one!
Great video bro....
Would love to see a behind the scenes video of Frank and JCVD on the set of Bloodsport. Hell anything behind the scenes on a 4K re release of Bloodsport would be awesome.
At least Frank Dux gives JCVD credit for working hard to be where he is today, also work ethic and being better than he was yesterday plays a role for Van Damme career. He wanted to be the best version of himself possible. Excellent interview!!
Well he did live it. Makes it easier to explain what happened when he lived it
Its great to see Frank and the other director guy are now regulars. This channel is booming! The part of Frank talking about VD not being able to do a front roll and then the clip of him doing it weird in bloodsport was eye popping. I Never realized that roll on film was awkward looking. Maybe its because he had too may muscles on him!
13:32 : Love the fights in Bloodsport , but this moment always got me .. My man Johnny Cheung throws a jumping inside cresent kick with his right foot .. the opponent's follow through reaction is going against where the kick came from ! 😂 Yes, I know it's for the camera to capture his blood spurt and reactions etc, but still, was funny to me . 😝
Great stuff as always man. Thanks for bringing it to us 💪🏻💪🏻
If JCVD stayed with Frank Dux, imagine how awesome he could have been! Frank Dux is the GOAT. He's the Charlie Z of MMA. And this was sarcasm if some failed to miss it.
Dux confirmed what I always suspected and have been disappointed with myself...although JCVD did produce very good stuff...he wasn't used to his full potential in martial arts choreography. Only NRNS, Bloodsport, and maybe a few others got the closest.
No retreat no surrender one of his best movies in my opinion due to fight choreography. Bloodsport comes in second
Frank Dux : Shingo and I were close friends. Brothers. And you and Mrs. Tanaka have treated me like a son. What will happen now?
Tanaka : No more training. Stop now.
Frank Dux : [shakes his head] But you have so much to teach.
Tanaka : You don't understand. During the war, I lost my first family. My son, daughter, and wife. I left Japan because of the war. War was wrong. I came to America to start over, to have a new family, and a son. For 2,000 the teachings passed, father to son, father to son. When Shingo died, it stopped.
Frank Dux : Teach me. I can do it.
Tanaka : You are not Japanese! You are not a Tanaka!
Frank Dux : You told me to use any tactic that works, never to commit yourself to one style, to keep an open mind!
Tanaka : Why?
Frank Dux : To honor you, Shidoshi.
In all his previous interviews he disparaged Jean-Claude saying he and his students all laughed at him because he couldn’t do a forward roll.
We’ve all seen footage of JCVD before he ever met this pathological liar. You can see him in actual combat, unlike Dux. This video starts showing photos of Jean-Claude leaping in the air doing jumping roundhouse kicks. He does the splits on the second rope in the corner of a boxing ring in the movie No Retreat No Surrender and literally does a forward roll right out of the splits. A movie where he finishes Sugar Foot Pete Cunningham with a variation of the “helicopter kick” he does in Bloodsport.
He did all of this before meeting Dux.
Notice in ALL of his previous statements he says JCVD couldn’t do a “forward roll” that he landed right on his head.
Now he’s telling VS a very toned down version where Jean-Claude COULD do a ballet forward roll and that he couldn’t do a shoulder roll the first time he tried…but that Van Damne “was capable of doing it”.
How can anyone believe the words of a man who literally can’t seem to stop lying or taking credit for shit he has not done.
In this video he starts to finally give JCVD the tiniest of credit for his poses after attacks by saying “to be honest..” it was JCVD’s idea. Only to take it all back because it was really moves Frank did that JC must have seen them emulated as his ideas.
Wow 😂🤣😂
There are videos and photos of JCVD clearly demonstrating his special abilities and flexibility and there are equally as many videos of Frank Dux moving around like a lummox that can barely stand without almost falling (check out his instructional videos where you can literally see him barely able to stand without stumbling. He’s never demonstrated the smooth moves he apparently taught JCVD only his b grade illusionist tricks with fake bricks, plexiglass, candy glass, students pretending to tug a rope etc
Believe what you want to believe people. But this guys is pathologically and unashamedly dishonest and has been his entire life.
Re: JCVD borrowing Frank’s technique of posing after an attack in an action movie….VS must have forgot Bruce Lee had been doing that in all his films long before Dux fantasized about his Kumite/cia careers.
Well Said, Glad you have a good Eye.. it really is a Big Joke.. it makes me Cringe listening to this Guy.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Glad I'm not the only one that sees through this dudes BS!
Its the same fake story that Seagal teach Anderson Silva moves he used to defeat Vitor Belfort.
Frank Dux need to keep fake story and always contradics himself in each Interview.
Dux love to tell to anyone he are better than Bruce Lee and he told a fake story that Lee want to meet him, because he want to know the teenager who is more faster than him.
He loves to tell If he fight MMA in his prime today he would be undefetead champion easily.
But we never see him fight and all demonstration he show was very embarassing.
Van damm took allot from bruce lee, just added more his playboy flair, in lion heart he acted more fully like a bruce lee but even with a little more emotion
His story of how Van Damme got the role in Bloodsport is totally different than Van Damme's version.
Great interview. Yes Vandamme was hungry and he knew it was going to be breakthrough role and Frank Dux knew that movie was going to make him a legend no matter the the bad tongues. Yes I totally agree with Franks , we count the martial arts films where Vandamme totally showcases his martial arts skills and screen presence. Our fear is that will his last upcoming film have that same magic? Vandamme does need a strong fight choreographer with a strong personality to push out the best in him.
If it takes money, I'd be more than happy to add to a go fund me to get Van Damme on this channel
Great interview
hardest part for Frank Dux training him was holding back his true power and not accidently killing him with one touch
How would you know. Frank can perform dinmaks that kill 40 years later.
He lost me as soon as he said something disrespectful about Bruce Lee, the truth is Bruce Lee felt that if you took a long time fighting the henchmen there would be nothing left for the main villain.
But he in all Interview was disrespectful with Bruce Lee.
He is disrespectful with MMA fighters too.
Dux is a fraud. He would be his ass kicked by Lee or any teenager who pratice MMA.
I have always respected Frank Dux more than most people did.... But now since I've seen Frank interview on this channel..... I have even more respect for this man! He is a LEGEND!!!
He wants whatever Frank Duke says to be real no matter how much it is not. He can do no wrong in his eyes.
Thanks for all the amazing content. Much ❤
Love your videos and your channel Viking! These Frank Dux interviews are great!
Hello, Viking Samurai. This video is different levels of cool. I was curious about this too. In relation to Bloodsport, I would say this is the perfect video, because it explores an age old question.🔥🔥🔥🔥
TERRANCE OUT
Amen frank dux did awesome choreography and a movie that to this day has tattooed the world about martial arts cuz Bloodsport is one of the reasons 90% action Stars that do martial arts want to be just like van Damme is movies were awesome 👍🙏🥋 OSS champion in my book
Frank DUXS is a black belt in name dropping lol
I find it hard to believe that he couldn't do a shoulder roll. It is a fundamental move in karate.
Anyone who is slightly athletic at all would be able to learn that in 30 seconds.
Let alone jcvd at the time.
While Frank likes to take credit for turning JCVD in to the martial arts action hero we know him as, claiming JCVD couldn’t even do a forward roll (now it’s a shoulder roll) and that he was stiff only good at “boxing”….
Here’s the man actually responsible. A man that put him through incredibly brutal training (the kind Dux likes to fantasize happened in his life).
ruclips.net/video/x0pnfzVESWw/видео.html
Again, here’s Dux words he’s been claiming for decades:
“He was very stiff. He had a karate background. But, I mean, he couldn’t do a forward roll when I first got him. He frickin’ landed on his head, in front of all my students. Are you kidding me? I mean, he couldn’t do a throw. You try to get him to do a judo throw and he couldn’t throw anybody. He was good at boxing. He was good at stiff karate moves, but that was it. “
Watch the video of JCVDs real Sensei who Dux is stealing credit from.
Uts funny I remember reading that Dux claimed as you said was really stiff, and couldn't do the splits. Funny thing is his first American movie he did that no problem lol, and a forward roll too!
@@SFNDMK Dux has no problem lying when evidence to the contrary is available for anyone d to see.
Jcvd. Had to forget everything he knew.
Frank had to tear him down and build him up.
Sheldon Lettich wanted to cast rip Taylor for the role as rip Taylor
@@oldironsides4107 Well he would have to forget everything he knew literally, otherwise it would be abundantly clear Dux had zero actual training or knowledge outside of reading books and magazines, watching martial arts movies.
Hahaha did you notice that when Dux thought that the poses after he knocks someone out was something that anyone liked he was like "yeah well I used to do that too" lmao
VS, you have the patience of a saint to listen to this pathological liar babble on for hours
If Frank Dux got into a fight with Michael Jai White both locked in an octagon, obviously neither would actually fight, not a punch would be thrown, but the real question is: Who would make up a better excuse to why it never went down? Or who would claim to win with a better excuse as to why there is no evidence?
We’d have to check in with VladTV to find out George Dillman actually no touch KOd them both from behind a bed sheet.
Well he lied about Bruce Lee's endurance in fight scenes but he's right about people not using Van Damme to his full potential. Definitely wrong about Van Damme being near Bruce's level though. Check merchandising alone.
So really JCVD's on and off screen work on Bloodsport kind of mirrors his epic training montages in BS & Kickboxer. He had heart and dedication into long hours even down to being tied up in a medieval oriental torture machine.
Great series Viking keep it up
In the 80's we all enjoyed the contributions Frank Dux made and we also enjoyed Segal movies. Now it is popular to hate on them both. Just an observation.
Sometimes it takes a bit for the truth to come out.
That's interesting Frank said he was Trained by Hubie Kerns. Hubie was the stunt man that did the fight choreography for Adam West in the 60's Batman TV show.
Good stuff!
God just loving this interview , well the channel overall, great stuff man!!!
Great interview. Real, or no .....truth, or lies....it's very interesting. Not going 2 lie. I was a big Bloodsport fan..
Great Job VS 👍😁👍
Great stuff
I am so glad I kept watching your videos. I actually like Frank Dux in this video. Van Damme might not agree 100% with what he says but that could be down to opinion or even just the way over time people remember things differently. Dux is almost a likable guy when he's saying nice things about other people. It's too bad he doesn't focus more on that instead of all the garbage he usually spews.
A lot of people say Frank Dux is fake, etc but how do you explain a fake fighter directing this movie so well? If so, it’s the most successful fake person directing one of the best martial arts movie ever.
See I mean with some brain, Frank Dux was exceptional fighter considering his time.Yes there are better fighters now today.
Dux vs Seagal... Wow. What a movie that would be. Name suggestions for a film title..!!
Nice interview
Compare the choreography of the quest to bloodsport. It's clear that van Damme had better guidance for bloodsport .
Min 13:34. I love this movie but I always wonder he gets hit on one side and instead of falling to that side he dramatically goes the opposite direction
