Even though I love the channel, and respect how you treat Dux, the way you talk about Bisping, who is living proof of defeating the odds, is tasteless. That is below you, David.
Especially because Bisping only said things about Dux after Dux trashed his UFC accomplishment by saying he could take out any UFC champ in 2016 when Bisping was champion.

Great channel, but I gotta comment on this one, Frank is a smart guy he could argue that water isn’t wet and create a good case. But Frank vs Bisping in an actual fight is beyond ridiculous, no surviving evidence of Frank in actual real combat, Bisping won a world title with one eye, the dude is a legit proven bad ass.
Look at those pics of Frank when he was young he had a gut, and soft looking like a CPA and not a fighter. Look at the UFC fighters they don't look that soft. None of them!! Their hard work shows up on their bodies

I can relate to what Dux said about martial arts training. There is a big difference between sports and combat training. When I was training in TKD, It was for tournaments. Then I began training in Okinawan Shotokan Karate, and my sensei disapproved of training for a tournament we trained strictly for combat/self-defense.
I'm a 2nd degree black belt in old school traditional Korean TKD, I wasn't training for tournaments. I started training in American Kenpo and it was very different, I love TKD but it's not like some these other arts that are seriously dangerous arts.

@harrygreb3457 I knew how to fight before I learned martial arts, martial arts just made me a much more dangerous fighter.
It also depends on who is teaching you and how, if you never practice using it in potential real life situations or the right and wrong times to use kicks it's not doing you any good.
Anybody can learn techniques, you have to learn how to improvise and be smart.
@@DougSalyers I knew how to fight as well, the point is, and keep in mind that I 100 percent agree, which is why I’ve said for years theres 2 different martial arts kids should learn 1st, either boxing because it’s cheap, there’s live sparring and all fights start standing or wrestling because you can control where the fight goes and 9 outta 10 end up on the ground
@harrygreb3457 I'm not disagreeing with you. I wrestled in school before learning martial arts myself.
The days of learning 1 style and surviving on the streets and in competition are a thing of the past.
The more styles you learn, the better. I'm 50yrs old now and I'm not in very good shape. I was in a near fatal accident that according to the surgeon and specialists I shouldn't have survived. So my days of defending with my hands are over, I'm packing everywhere I go.
I just don't like it when people write off traditional martial arts, there is a lot people can get of traditional martial arts. But I have always said, no matter what style you learn, you have to adjust it to work on the streets and you have to know what works and what doesn't. Otherwise you shouldn't use it at all

It is laughable him claiming he could beat a professional fighter (now ex fighter) Michael Bisping. What next is he going to claim he could have beaten a prime Mike Tyson or Anderson Silva LOL. Dux has never fought anyone of note, not a single person! Dux even in his prime was obviously not athletically gifted. Sure physiques don't indicate skill but it does show how hard you have trained, Dux in his prime you could scarcely tell he worked out. Look at any video of Dux doing martial arts - he looks mediocre at best, on every level!
He also doesn't have anywhere near the speed .. he claimed he had being faster than Bruce Lee . Their are video's of him in his 30's .. doing kicks etc . A person with exceptional speed like that doesn't lose it all in their late 30's , they still would be faster than the average fighter in their 20's .
@@SJ-ty5rw Obviously Viking Samurai has to humor him and pretend he actually believes Dux's B.S. to get him on his channel. As you mentioned his speed even in his prime is not great. You can tell also by the way he does combinations that he is no fighter.

Frank has stated in interviews that "every time he sees" me I am "high on coke"! So, you may choose to believe his over 300 win, Zero loss KUMITE record and disregard my statement that, "I HAVE NEVER USED THE DRUG COCAINE!!!!!!" I have smoked pot in the distant past, and, the last time was in the 70's and maybe the early 80's.

That fact that Dux has to do that, in slandering a real Martial Artist and Kickboxing Champion, shows that he, (Dux, that is,) cannot be trusted and is not a true Martial Artist, a Champion, and not even a fighter; for in fighting and in the Martial Arts, it's all about respect, especially to our fellow Martial Artists, and especially to the Champions. How a person treats other Martial Artists, especially real legit Champions, tells a lot about that person in the Marital Arts.
Don it's very clear Frank is a complete fantasists. I wouldn't even entertain him if I had a you Chanel. He claims he could be all these various champions. And that his secrets exploits for the us government would put James bond to shame 😂 the proof is in the pudding. All his stories have no validation. It would set a great example of why we all studied Martial Arts to begin with. Both men should join together in respect to each other as teachers, And guide our young men and women who’s communities are in such need of strong leaders like these two Masters. We need “real men like these guys” to lead and stand for what both Master Frank and Master Don Wilson agree is most important; The development and safety of the young people they inspire to become blackbelts. Master Don Wilson is not a baby, he is the most impressive kickboxer I’ve ever seen! I really hope that both men continue to be the best “they can be”, but not just for their honor, but for their master’s too! 🇺🇸🙌🏻

In my case I have a background in Karate,HS wrestling, etc. I believe it is always best to stay in your feet if possible in non sport situations. Going to the ground is dangerous and traps you from escape. Yes you need to learn to fight on the ground but overall stay in your feet if you can. Learn all the aspects of fighting you can and keep training.
Exactly. I am mainly a boxer, muay Thai guy but if I do ended up on the ground, I would get destroyed if I didn't know jiu-jitsu...
@@dqreps Ya my understanding is that in self-defense or in military combat the ground is death. I make it a point to scramble to get to my feet when tactically sound. Hopefully this can be avoided with strikes and stand up grappling.
@@dqreps I don't understand this argument. Your legs and arms still work on the ground. Breakdancers do amazing things on the ground and they do not know jiujitsu (or judo). If you're stronger than the other person on the ground or on your feet you're going to have the advantage even if your advantage is smaller.
Well then argument is not that you can not win on the ground.....hell I have won street fights on the ground. The argument is that if you go to the ground other people can trap you. In self-defense,military, or street fights it is rare that a fight is one on one. So best if you stay mobil.
Also as I saw in a street fight when 2 guys were rolling on the ground the police arrested both guys. They just looked like a mess of criminal scum to this undercover officer. As one of my Karate teachers said "Why wait for the police.....get the hell out of there"

You're not going to do standing triangle chokes or arm bars in the same naturen etc etc etc. There's a whole different type of mobility on the ground. Totally different landscape. It's why Ronda Rousey could win on the ground and not standing up against guys. If you don't want to go there, it's just best to train take down defense. If not, good luck.

I was a student of the late Mike Sanders, he knew Dux he said his martial art is legit.
Bisbing was a UFC champion … you can disagree with him make your point.. minimizing his accomplishments or him as a fighter is a complete fucking joke! Anyone who put that championship belt around their waist even for one fight is a big deal! Any top 15 UFC fighter or even fighting in the UFC is a pretty good accomplishment. You really shouldn’t make stupid statements like this. Even if you disagree with his assessment of Frank.
I’m sorry Viking. I just don’t believe anything that Frank Dux says. No disrespect but his stories are just that…..stories. He probably has numerous scripts for action movies that he was never able to release and that’s why he tells such fascinating stories. Now I do believe he’s a real and legit martial artist. I really do. But as far as all his fighting and military background I just don’t believe any of it.

Supposedly someone broke into his gym, and stole all his video tapes, of him supposedly fighting in the kumite. Which makes zero sense. To make the story seem more believable, he made mention of theft of other properties too. I don’t recall what those even were. It seems awfully strange that the only proof of Frank fighting, was all “stolen”. I’m sure his gym was stolen from. But I doubt he had any tapes. I think he’s just using that past event to his advantage.

I got into martial Arts 20 years ago, I was very ignorant, naive, & a little to trusting at the time, the guy I started out with told me he was a 5th degree black belt in "Chinese combative kenpo" plus he was a master of tae kwon do, wing Chung, aikido, judo, & chi gong, and he was also on the swat team, in the army, a prison gaurd & trained over in China & japan, not knowing any better at the time he had me up to a brown belt in "Chinese combative kenpo" in less then a year, there were no forms/katas, only around 5-6 "self defense" techniques per belt, when I finally got smart & questioned him about it he just hung up on me, well fast forward to today his local school is booming & he just got included into a fake martial Arts hall of fame, when I look at frank dux I see that con man I started out with 20 years ago, unfortunately I've ran into a few of them over the years, you'd think with the UFC /MMA coming onto the scene & any information you can find on the internet this kind of thing would've died down, but they know how to manipulate people into believing them, they are masters of the ancient art of bull-shito, he's even got a local MMA school believing him

Even though he’s been retired for awhile, I think I’d bet on Bisping vs. Dux, Van Damme and even Seagal. He’s in way better shape than any of them, and has real fight experience.

We know bisping was a great mma fighter and we had 100% proof of this. We don't have any proof what Frank really says is true do we? So I would say bisping in a real fight with one eye the man is dangerous. Say what you like about him but he's a true fighter and martial artist. I really do hope all of Frank's claims are true but there's always an angle to the claims.
He fought some of the best mmm middleweights in the world with essentially only vision in one eye for years. I'd put my money on Mike any day over a guy who claims outlandish things but never has produced proof. I do think Frank has some martial arts experience but it's not anything more special then the majority of people who studied more then a decade.

True. He was the greatest martial artist at his weight for a short time, and doing it with one eye makes the achievement so incredible. Noone has ever done that before.
