Plus she asked that based on his comments about masculinity and said 'You made a movie that dealt with this issue.'

Sunny pretty much agrees with that too - she made it more articulately. The issue is that Abby takes a strand of logic and then gets it confused with a talking point unrelated to the issue at hand. Although, women are physically unable to protect a man because a man is naturally the stronger vessel. What she was saying is that the women (if she absolutely trust him) to let the man lead and let the woman fall back. If the women doesn't trust the man to lead, she has every right not to allow this. Her husband even said that just because she's allowing him to lead doesn't mean he gets to make every final decision or dominant over her. They consult each other and they move as a unit.

She is clearly a traditionalist, like Sunny, and wishes not to change her position based off of a generalization of men being non-gentleman- even if that is the majority.
Also, Fantasia’s post was about emasculating men. Abby WAS on topic and so was Sunny. Idk what Joy was talking about as this had nothing to do with men in political power. Ana also sounded weird- readily threatening people with death when they have or have been perceived to harm your loved one is NOT masculinity. That’s threatening someone. Taking the initiative in this way should NOT be mistaken for masculinity.

It's not that Sunny can't have her traditional gender roles, nor is it about how men are evil. Fantasia’s the same woman who had a baby with a married man. Why is she the authority on marriage advice!

@@awakeningofhischosenishapp2726 thank you for saying that to @tkc. The way people act these days I guess we need to wear our past sins on our chest or sleeves because that's the only way they will identify you. The Scarlett letter days I guess. When you learn better you do better.

I've always noticed & experienced that it's the SAME individuals who speak on another's past indiscretions, live a life of hypocrisy, bcuz they generally see themselves & project their own miserable lives onto other's.. It's extremely obvious to me how low @tkc self-esteem truuly is.. She/He NEEDS to improve on her/his own life, Betterment of Self, way of thinking, & way of Be'IN b4 tryna spew unrelated garbage about another individuals life.. My Beautiful Melanated Sister Queen Fantasia has come a loooong way, her journey was Rough & She made it thru the Fire.. Who in their "Right Mind" could feel comfortable about themselves tryna knock another person down 4 their past indiscretions??? Only A Hypocrite would do that!! Frfr SMH...

I don’t know why this topic is so hard to get. Leadership is not gendered. It is not based on one’s genital conscription. Some women are better leaders. Some men are. Sometimes it is dependent on the activity involved. Sometimes both parties are co-partners in the marriage. Each family decides for themselves. Fantasia however is saying that only one (where the man leads) of these possibilities I have listed is right. And that is where she is wrong.

Meghan, "Fight Club" was a metaphor. It wasn't glamourizing masculinity or saying violence was okay, it's meant to be a satire and a commentary on toxic masculinity. Did she even understand the context of the film? Or forget Tyler Durden was the "villain"?

Right?!? To be honest, Meghan and many like her only think about things on the surface. They never take deeper thought of their actions or the actions of another person.

I wish the ladies of the view took into consideration the response by Fantasia's husband as well. It is a valid point based on balance and good spiritual, emotional and financial leadership.

What Sunny is describing isn't "traditionalist," but I agree that we should be cautious about emasculating men.

@Mam Jallow Nope, women shouldn't be working at all period. They belong at home making children, cooking, and cleaning. That's about it. They should know their place where they belong.

The only men you can 'emasculate' are insecure, weak men. Secure men are drawn to powerful women and do not feel diminished in any way by the success of the women.

In my home the husband and wife are a partnership but the man is the leader. My wife has certain roles that she does, like the finances.
