I love how that after so, so many centuries, the Selkath were still around during the Clone Wars. Which means Manaan is probably still around too. Gotta love that planet. :)
Thank you for extending this song it reminds me of my mom cause I used to play this and show it to her all the time and she would sit and just listen to the background music of this area..... Thank you
Like we say in france : "toutes mes condoléances et j'espere que elle a trouvé la paix" (all my condolences and i hope she found peace)... i know am two years late but i feel i needed to say it
I was playing Swtor earlier, went to manaan for a flashpoint and this soundtrack came over the speaker. I was immediately in Nostalgia as flashes of walking Ahto city, or getting thrown out because i was a little kid and to stupid to figure out the puzzle. Or just playing darkside. Kotor is my favorite game of all time yet i never really paid attention to this theme until earlier today when it just came out of nowhere and made me feel immediately better. To anyone who read this short essay of a comment, may the force be with you. Either jedi or Sith when we pass we become one with the force. (although technically only Jedi find true rest apparently.)
Adam Niccum we’ll clone wars is being brought back, looks like there’s a possibility of Old republic content in the way, and rogue one and solo we’re pretty good imo. Ofc I don’t agree with all that Disney does
I first played KOTOR as a teenager. This music is a beautiful poison; it instills in me a nostalgia unmatched by most things; and that nostalgia is deadly. I yearn so badly for that childhood that I hope time is indeed a flat circle. I will get to feel those feelings again, I'll get to play this game for the first time again. I'll get to play with my younger brother and all will be right with my family again. Until then, I'll weep silently for the child in me that refuses to die.
@Blood_Condition 2004 in particular, but about every summer since as well. Me and my brothers would race to get up in the morning at like 6am on summer vacation just to be the first one to the xbox and the loser would be forced to watch lol
Still to this day my favourite planet in the Star Wars universe. And the best ambient soundtrack! Even made it my SWTOR stronghold. I can’t wait to see it remastered.
I read this Jango Fett AoTC tie-in book when I was in elementary school at the school library. I remember being particularly moved by the imagery of Kamino in one of the early chapters of the book. I recall the author describing little Boba waiting for his dad in their apartment, waiting for him to get back from a mission, and him just munching on a food ration and looking out at the Kamino ocean as rain poured down the window. It felt tremendously comfy as it was raining outside in real life at that moment and I felt all cozy in the library like I was Boba in his apartment. I’ve always been fascinated by water. I recently played KOTOR for the first time and I loved this level. The music was great and the city itself was so pretty, the futuristic shiny architecture and the endless ocean. plus the funny little scuba suit at the end was awesome haha. I'm just confused about the guy in the locker at the bottom of the sea. I say we shall call him Davy Jones!
I like KOTOR I OST more than KOTOR II OST, I think some of the main reasons for that are: Manaan, Bastila’s theme, Star Forge Battle, and not to forget Dantooine’s pieces. Beautiful
The Ahto City theme is one I love and hate I spent most my time on Manaan doing the Sunry quest and I always got lost so the theme would continuously start from the beginning as I was always going to a new section. It got pretty annoying after awhile. Especially when I spent nearly if not more time there than on Taris which was the planet I spent the most time on up to that point. But I do love the music when it isn't forcibly restarting. Its calm and relaxing I like the hint of The Force Theme mid way through. It sounds similar to it, like it's building up to it and turns into its own thing while still sounding similar.
it might be that there are half a dozen more people out there uploading the same song. and there's some channels that are dedicated to this kind of music altogether. so that might be due to there not being a million views.
dude.......I have no words for what uv done here. I love it. I love you! and now I will subscribe to shown my loyalty. ur a true starwars fan. Nd not of the Disney parodys........that's what I call the new ones
Im torn between this track and the one for Dantooine. I like them both but this one I like because it reminds me of the track for the Zoras domain in Zelda Twilight Princess it also fit in well for a water zone in my opinion.
@2:28 Interesting how a Selkath features so prominently on the cover art, and yet isn't a major character at all. Maybe lucasarts was like, well nobody's going to tell it's star wars unless there's some very alien looking alien on the front...
i personally had trouble liking this game but i will say some things were fairly decent such as the story later on, the fact that you could use dark side abilities even when playing as a jedi and the planet manaan and its music are very nice
Larry Rudedude they've been heading in the wrong direction for a few years now, andromeda was when the facade that they are who they once where cracked. Real shame
One of the best soundtrack in the game in my opinion
А теперь ты на 5 лет старше. Oh, Now you're 5 years older
My favorite soundtrack of all-time. The most beautiful music I ever heard.
Man I love this game so much. I wish there was more to do. I can only 100% so many times
@@demialsomber6646 А теперь ты на 2 года старше ;)
*The sound of Selkath threatening to execute you if you start a fight*
Timmy Santana
*It's the sith's fault! She should be jailed!*
listening while studying for finals = unlimited power and comfort
Me right now
A year later and yep. Finals next week.
Obey the laws here on Manaan, human.
Somehow... I knew I'd find this here.
The Force guides you.
Hey i even read that in the same machine voice that the guard droid said that in lol
+Hey Dave Dawson! (Skadooshbag) I'd be sad if it wasent here.......human
this is everything.
**brutally massacres sith embassy**
Judge: What is your defense, human?
Well, I...uh...found this data pad and token amongst the corpses...
Judge: INNOCENT
True😂
Very soothing when I slept to this. :) makes me wanna visit that planet.
I love how that after so, so many centuries, the Selkath were still around during the Clone Wars. Which means Manaan is probably still around too. Gotta love that planet. :)
Would love a visit to Manaan in one of the movies. :)
It was almost 4000 years before it. Centuries is an understatement.
Thank you for extending this song it reminds me of my mom cause I used to play this and show it to her all the time and she would sit and just listen to the background music of this area..... Thank you
Me to bro. My mum is dead now RIP and it reminds me of when I was young and used to game this game at her house. i was all sweet and innocent then.
Moon Striderz I’m sorry man this comment is a year later but I’ll be praying for you, I hope things have gotten better
Like we say in france : "toutes mes condoléances et j'espere que elle a trouvé la paix" (all my condolences and i hope she found peace)... i know am two years late but i feel i needed to say it
That's a very nice story man
... I'm calling my mom tomorrow to tell her I love her. This comment, I just don't ever want to know what that's like, I'm sorry, man.

Love this comment bro!
It also plays in the Manaan stronghold, I like going to mine just to listen to this
Thank you for that insight, you beautiful soul
This game was magic. Pure magic.
It’s the Force being with us.
I don't think I've ever been so immersed in a game as kotor. I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt this!
it fills me with happiness and melancholy
don't know why I had the urge to look this up but this song takes me back
No matter what Star Wars it is weather it's a game of Star Wars or the movies, TV shows it always has the best music :)
RIP golden age of star wars 1977-2012
Adam Niccum we’ll clone wars is being brought back, looks like there’s a possibility of Old republic content in the way, and rogue one and solo we’re pretty good imo. Ofc I don’t agree with all that Disney does
thanks for extending this beautifully best soundtrack of kotor
+Adam Niccum it's my favorite planet. glad you like it too!
+bradacus of course bro
+bradacus happy New year
+bradacus you should do for all of kotors soundtracks btw
+Adam Niccum thanks you too! and I may do other vids thanks for the suggestion.
The Ebon Hawk was such a sexy, sexy ship.
I may take a long time before we will see a Star Wars game like this ever again.
Only 2 years, and hopefully it’ll get a proper remake. One can hope for the best.
I agree! This game was a treasured jewel that comes only a few times in life.
I am just playing this game for the first time on switch. I love it. And then I arrived at manaan. Great soundtrack!
Greatest game ever 🥲

Takes me back to when there was no responsibility, just playing games and having a good time. Thanks for the reminder.
Peaceful game soundtracks I know of:
1. KotOR - Manaan's theme
2. Fallout - Dream Town
3. Morrowind - exploration tracks
4. Oblivion - most of the Cyrodiil tracks (exclude combat, Oblivion, and cave tracks)
5. WoW - Ashenvale Forest
6. Halo 2 - In Amber Clad
7. Fable 1 - Outdoors track, Greatwood track
...any others I can't recall??? This'd be my top 6.
Good list, thanks
Very underrated comment.
Based
That is some list of games... A good chunk of the golden age
I've always loved this song. So tranquil.
This reminds me of my nana. We never listened to this song. Or STAR WARS together. But. I just got that...feeling. You know?
Man, this just instantly takes me back to my childhood playing this on the living room tv during the summer.
What year?
@Blood_Condition 2004 in particular, but about every summer since as well. Me and my brothers would race to get up in the morning at like 6am on summer vacation just to be the first one to the xbox and the loser would be forced to watch lol
@@archon8519 memories!
Twenty years later and the soundtrack still slaps hard.... oh God it's been TWENTY YEARS!!!!
Still to this day my favourite planet in the Star Wars universe. And the best ambient soundtrack! Even made it my SWTOR stronghold. I can’t wait to see it remastered.
This place is even more beautiful than the cities on Kamino.

does anyone else think the selkath are extremely adorable??? or is it just me???
+Bokune9999 well ... im sure someone does ;P
bradacus ok fair point...
I acknowledge that they are kinda funny looking, but I think they're fairly adorable as well.
I think they’re cute :”3 always wanted to play as one.
they're disgusting fishes
Thanks for the upload!
It's so chill. Love it
I was curled up in my girlfreinds arms, this played on our playlist and I passed out.
so relaxing. I use this music to fall asleep to at night. very calming
I like KOTOR I OST more than KOTOR II OST, I think some of the main reasons for that are: Manaan, Bastila’s theme, Star Forge Battle, and not to forget Dantooine’s pieces. Beautiful
It's so perfect; beautiful and saddening. But with hopeful undertones!
The Ahto City theme is one I love and hate I spent most my time on Manaan doing the Sunry quest and I always got lost so the theme would continuously start from the beginning as I was always going to a new section. I LOVE this theme, simply amazing.
"Obey the laws here on Manaan, human."
One if the best soundtracks ever!
Bastilla
Protagonis x bastila best romance(two jedis XD)
This really makes me terryfied of open ocean even more
i dreamt a beautiful woman came to me from another planet and told me to help her, i said okay , lets go.
Huh?
My favorite song from this epic game.
I loved Manaan mostly for its ambient atmosphere, environment and music (plus the item duplication glitch in the air seal)
Manaan... home
fuck i love this game so much
Beautiful, one of my favorite levels and most loved theme
Fishy, fishy, fishy!
Obey the laws here on manaan, human
If water or an aquatic realm were a melody: it would be this! I love Manaan, a great planet and a glistening gem of a map in KOTOR 1!
Thanks for this!
Obey our laws here on Manaan, human.
Chewie, we’re home.
Im torn between this track and the one for Dantooine. I like them both but this one I like because it reminds me of the track for the Zoras domain in Zelda Twilight Princess it also fit in well for a water zone in my opinion.
Truly acustic kolto.
Hasta pronto querido Zephan, que la fuerza te acompañe
soothes the nerves like a salve of kolto
Yes
I think Cam Clarke voiced like 3 people on this planet alone 😂
Lets wipe out the Selkath
It's like Minecraft meets Halo meets Star Wars
this is fire,
Ron Cecchetti
Stop ruining this piece of art with your imbecilic wording, human.
am i the only one who finds it mildly scary this song? like at 0:46 when its a nice melody then goes all baren
This reminds me alot of morrowinds music. And oblivions.
Because the music was made by the same guy :D
Robert Harris I mean, those tracks and this were written by the same guy.
Robert Harris
A lot*
I dont know if im in Tamriel, Hogwarts or the Border now
@2:28 Interesting how a Selkath features so prominently on the cover art, and yet isn't a major character at all. Maybe lucasarts was like, well nobody's going to tell it's star wars unless there's some very alien looking alien on the front...
love to sample this for my mixtape
Beep beep beep-oop!
To me this soundtrack was a bit overshadowed by what an annoying planet it was to actually get through
Hence the soothing track! But really, this planet tied me up in knots. Glad to know I wasn't the only one.
To be perfectly honest I’m mad this isn’t on Itunes 🤣
As much as I hate this games outdated combat god does it have a killer Star Wars soundtrack
i personally had trouble liking this game but i will say some things were fairly decent such as the story later on, the fact that you could use dark side abilities even when playing as a jedi and the planet manaan and its music are very nice
Nirvana....
It's a shame because Bethesda needs to make a remake of Kotor, imagine it like fallout 4 or skyrim.... It would be amazing.
Larry Rudedude they've been heading in the wrong direction for a few years now, andromeda was when the facade that they are who they once where cracked. Real shame
TheMarker2015 L.S well Kotor Aperion is coming out soon it seems
My vision of manaan m.ruclips.net/video/eBaRxXx9s6Q/видео.html ^^
this isn't good
zOrg what lol
