1:44 I love the artistic choice in the film they made to portray Chrystal as almost some kind of “monster” they stumbled upon in the cave. It was very eerie and creepy and a great beginning to the scene

Watching someone basically mutilate themself to death would probably be traumatizing for what anounts to two kids
They weren’t scared of her, they were grossed out and traumatized by the way she died. Turns out if you break a bone on this beach, you’re stuck like that until you get it fixed back or you make it worse. She chose the ladder.
Chrystal didn’t deserve that

Fr all her bones break and heal instantly leaving her stuck in a horrible position Everytime she moves another bone breaks and heals in a more twisted position

This movie insults the viewer’s intelligence every 3 seconds. The script is terrible. The way they beat you over the head with dialogue to explain the story instead of letting the story explain the story is the classic Shyamalan calling card

The Sixth Sense was still a masterpiece. He’s not always bad.
Even the dialog alone when they are trying to figure out what's happening is so bad. The mom constantly saying the children caught a virus, like c'mon not a single rational human believe they have a had a virus, it's more believable if they felt they were just going insane
