Of course , because its a capatlist system, you dont give your budget away, if a person is within a pay grade pay that. Imagine you have a band of 1mil to 5 mil and the candiate is on 950k and asks whats the salary...
      You say upto 5mil
Do you think they will be happy with anything less

I'm an ayush med student and in my first year, we had a counselling thingy and the woman who arranged the seminar told us she worked in a finance company for around 4 to 5 years at a finance company or something like that, but her pay was very less. She then went on on to build a program planner company and now she's doing well.
One of my cousins is currently working in Canada and earns around 35 lakhs per annum. Everyone prompted him to take up engineering. But he wasn't very good at studies so he did a diploma in mechanics from Manipal and then got a job in a good company. Two years later he was able to immigrate to Canada.
My point is, when you are capable enough, you can earn lakhs from a job that pays minimum wage. Just keep doing whatever you're doing, one day you'll figure it out.

Btw such monopoly exists only in Indian corporates where HRs are appreciated for lessening someone's salary.
What the point of calling them hr when all they do is demotivate employees...instead they should be called organization chamchas.
I have seen many hypocrites and only 1 in 100 HR are honest. Seriously these people have no clue of worth of skills they literally judge u as a number.

You're saying that if someone comes from a regular college and applies for an entry-level job, they'll be offered a salary of 3-4 LPA, but if they're from a top college like XLRI, they'll get 22-23 LPA. Do you focus on skills or the college? If a candidate from a regular college has many skills but still doesn't get a higher package, I don't think this resume screening process is fair.
