- Galvanized pipes eventually rust closed or rust through. It's time to replace ours with copper pipe. Here's a couple of ways to do it.

The rest of the galvanized pipes will eventually clog up. You need to replace them all.
Nice job!
Much appreciated! you probably know this already ... but you're my most faithful commentor 😊😊
Thats some old school plumbing technique i never seen before. in our place our pipes are wrapped in plastic or some kind of material and most joints are just held with ptfe tape - no welding and torching
Interesting. Are the pipes metal though?
Something is wrong here, 34k subscribers and not even 100 views after an hour?
Dave, what's going on here?
In any case, I wish you and your family a nice Sunday.
They all want the Corolla videos.. I like the handyman side projects actually even more.
@@ryan-uz1rwyes, nothing can beat the Corolla, and its engine! 😊
Just keeping the long game in mind. My home repair videos have a slow burn on them, but some of them end up with more views than the Corolla videos with time. 🙂 My most popular videos at the moment are actually home wiring.
Thanks Ryan 😃👍🏻
@@ryan-uz1rw I miss the Corolla vids badly.
Recently a faucet in the sink literally burst when I turned it on.
A very thin but far-reaching beam came out where it wasn't supposed to. ^^
I changed it myself, no big deal.
😦
Ahh - early 70s house flashbacks
Yeah… I think this one is a ’63.
Great job love the work
Thanks Michael!
The blowtorch inside the wall scares me! I would’ve added some sort of flashing for a shield… or just cut it off. Sharkbite works great for reassembly.
Glad you pointed that out. I usually do, but in this case I was directing the heat of the torch toward the opening on the other side of the wall… to keep from burning down the house 😁 … admittedly though, I have caught the inside of a wall on fire before. soaked it down with a pump sprayer afterwards.
Nice job that
Thanks!
Funny thing I just noticed slow flow on cold faucet on one side of master bathroom but my pipes are all copper. (Copper thieves stay away)
🤔hmmm. Maybe something wrong with the angle valve?
Can you please use amsoil engine flush for oil consumption series and amsoil engine oil. I heard amsoil the best engine oil in usa
Hey Dave, how is your Toyota?
Hope better than the sink.
😁... limping along for now.
any progress or thoughts on how to clean out those pesky piston oil return holes?
Ah ha ha ha ha ha ...... :-)
I'm serious for every problem there is a solution....no one has solved this problem of how to clean out piston oil return holes without taking engine apart, its hard problem to solve, so.e discussion of ideas might help
@@namenotshown9277 👍🏻I’m going to get mechanical on it very soon.
@@FamilyFriendlyDIY I continue to research about oil return holes in the piston, await your coming videos with interest
At 7:08 what's that tool for getting at the upper connection of the faucet hose in a tight spot?

@@qcsupport2594 You're welcome!
No Corolla update - another day ruined.
Sorry ...
@@FamilyFriendlyDIYno more Corolla videos anymore?
Galvanized pipe looks like galvanized poop. 😮
Great video, sir. May I know your email🥰🥰
