The thing I hate so much about the battle arena is that freaking slot machine that gives you negative stats for each round like being tiny broken weapons broken materias no MP no Items and frog transformation and you’re going to be facing a tougher enemy
You can choose the negative effect etc you want by tapping the square button. It takes practice but if you can time it, makes it so much easier. Plus having a ribbon is great for stopping all negative effects except instant death, so if you can avoid broken accessory slot it's a lot easier.
@@dillonkinder9296 no worries. If you're still having trouble fuzzfingergaming has a great video on here about how to get the omnislash on disc1 and the strategy works pretty well. You may actually want to get broken magic materia or alll materia on the last reel because it means getting more battle points when you fish the battle, and hopefully by that point youve built up a limit break and can finish off the last enemy. But yeah it can be pretty frustrating if you get bad effects. If you don't have a ribbon I think casting resist works well, or you can use added effect plus Hades if you have it in an armour slot which will do the same as a ribbon.

The strategy is pretty good I think it's for getting omnislash on disc one but works on other discs too. If don't have a ribbon I think casting resist works well or can use Hades if you have it pluss added effect in a linked armour slot to do the same as ribbon. Battle square can be a pain, but it's not so bad if you get the setup right. I needed some of these strategy videos otherwise I'd still be stuck there 🤣
I still had him lv 45 with 5000 to 6000 HP 5000 600 MP all limits BESIDES Omnislash usable and KEPT the Infinite HP MP Limit cheat + 3x speed on for the ENTIRE game.
