#1- I'm impressed that your husband actually asks for an SPF to use! You've trained him well!! #2 - your left hand can now go through any radiation treatment and will never burn again in your life!! Thanks again for another great video with explanations as to why you love, or don't love a product - thank you for not wasting our time!!
A woman after my own heart! I love trying SPFs like some people try foundations…Love this round up! I so wish the Alsastin had a lighter tint…it’s SO gorgeous! Love the ColorScuence Sunforgettabke classic and the Neova is beautiful. But So many tints are a little too warm/deep for me. I’ve been leaning into untinted hybrids…love the DRMTLGY Broad Spectrum, Canmake Mermaid Sungel and mist recently Purito Dsily Go to SIF. I love having a sunscreen wardrobe that I look forward to wearing. Everyday!
DRMTLY Universal Tint & Beauty of Joseon are holy grails for me too. I'm testing a bunch at the moment and the big surprise has been Evy Daily Defense Mousse SPF 50. The mousse format is sooo interesting and feels great on my dehydrated skin 👍
Oily Skin here - I have loved Paula's Choice Resist Super Light for years now. Paula's Choice Essential glow has mica in it and is so pretty. My husband had skin cancer last year and he doesn't like mineral sunscreens - he doesn't use tinted ones, the one I can get him to wear is Supergroup Unseen Sunscreen. MyChelle Tinted is another favorite, Australian Gold Tinted as well - both of those are better suited for oily skin. The AG is quite matte if you want that.
I’ve got sensitive eyes and unfortunately can’t do so many sunscreens. Plus I’m fair skinned so many tinted sunscreens are too dark/warm, but I have fallen in LOOOOVE with laneige’s sunscreen. Its just beautiful with ke without makeup over, and it doesn’t irritate my eyes. 🙌🏼
I'd love to see a follow-up video on the DNA repair enzyme products you like and how they have worked for you! Will be ordering the Neova Silc Sheer soon!
Great video, thanks Penn. I'm an oily skinned 62 yo and the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen works perfectly for me. I put it right in top of my serums, let it set while I do my eye makeup, then apply my foundation. Really lovely product.
The Kopari Rose Gold did not work well for me. It was very oily, and got all over my clothes with just a small amount used. Also the glow did not last either. Several people have had the same problem. I wish the tester had been available to try, I would not have purchased. But glad it worked for you.
I really liked the Alastin. I just wish it came in a lighter color. I am fair/light and it just doesn't look right on my skin. Great video! I think I'm going to try the Neova! Shannon 😊
DRMTLGY and Beauty of joseon are too shiny on my face, even without moisturizer. Australian gold is too drying. I need something in the middle.. (just realized I sound like Goldilocks 😂)
Hi Penny, I tried SCINIC Super Mild Sun Essence Korean sunscreen purchased from Amazon $7.60 for 1.69 fl oz tube SPF 50 PA ++++. It is a tad bit thicker than Joseon, but still like a lotion. Absorbs beautifully, hydrating, not greasy at all, and is perfect under makeup. The price is the icing on the cake !!
Thanks for sharing Iris. I am looking for a very hydrating, thin spf for layering under other products. I ordered it from Amazon and look forward to trying it.
My fave is colorscience flex. Even more than colorscience all calm. My favorite drugstore is the Australian gold tinted face sunscreen. It doesn’t dry greasy at all and it’s a universal tint for the white cast. Lovely formula especially for the price.
Oh. Penny, I was so happy when I saw your thumbnail as I saw Kosas SPF in the image. 😂 I have been using (and loving) it for about a month. I expected to hear good things - ha ha! Honestly, I really do like it, and I’m not one for glow, but it looks so nice under my foundation. Maybe it’s my (much) older skin! 😂😂 Take care!
Hi Penny. Thank you for such a comprehensive video. You always do a great job. I noticed that some of the ingredients are harmful and also are not reef-safe. I read an article on the web, “11 Harmful Sunscreen Ingredients To Stay Away From And What to Use Instead.” I thought about pasting the URL, but wasn’t sure if it is allowed. Octinoxate was listed in a few of the ingredient lists. It is known to be harmful to marine life and Medical News Today wrote this, “Scientists classify octinoxate as an endocrine disrupting compound (EDC). EDCs affect the endocrine system, which is responsible for making and regulating hormones in the body. “ I need all of my hormones. Yikes! The last one by Kosas included many of the harmful ingredients that they suggest we avoid. This list is the reason why it’s so difficult to find a sunscreen that checks all the boxes for me. Currently, I’m using Colorescience and when I don’t need tinted sunscreen, I’m using Babo Botanicals Clear Zinc Sunscreen with an SPF of 30, that I get from Amazon. Target online sells it as well.
Thanks for doing this. My fav is australian gold spf50 w/ burts bees daily spf30 lotion; which lightens the color & adds a little hydration. I'm so very grateful for you !
I just started using this> La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-in Milk Body & Face Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 100, Oxybenzone & Octinoxate Free, Sunscreen for Kids, Adults & Sun Sensitive Skin, Unscented, 3 Fl oz. I really like it a lot. I wanted something to use at the beach to totally block out the sun, especially on my face.
Hi Penny❤. Happy Sunday. My favorite sunscreen will be BOJ because of what you’ve described. Drmtlgy only during the winter. My go to for the summer has been Missha Waterproof and the regular one I don’t remember the name. Again I mix Purito with Dermablend CC both has added SPF because I have a hard time finding the right shade for me. Both combo makes my makeup last throughout the crazy work week and also weekends. And of course I spray the Milk setting spray as the last step.
You look more gorgeous in every video! Love the new background as well Btw, is that an Oura ring you are wearing? My husband just got me one for our anniversary and so far I am loving it Ok, watching now 😊
Hey Penny….thanks for all the great info :) Any chance you could do a video comparing all the DNA repair products? For example, if I’m using One Skin or Photzyme, do I still need to use the Neova sunscreen? Thanks!!
I ordered the Iris & Romeo when I was in the CA desert this spring. I actually really liked the texture/tint & hydration. When I returned to 'real life' in the bay area of CA it was too greasy & heavy! I think it's best for drier skin types in a dry climate.
Omg I went to buy the Avene spf u mentioned in another video but ended up walking out with Cereve spf 50 instead and omg the white lavender cast it left on my face was horrendous. I looked like a dead person!!! It was crusty too. I knew I made a mistake as I walked out of the store not listening lol!!
I’ve been using BOJ for a while now. Glad I’m stocked up. Used to use the DRMTLGY, but with the extreme heat here in NV it was too occlusive for me, and would sweat it off. 🥵 The Mermaid Skin Gel, is lightweight, but BOJ is a better value. Thanks for all the recommendations, and all the time you take to put everything together for us ! ☺️💜☺️
Skinbetter suncreen at first i didnt like because i was using wrong. You suppose to warm the suncreen with your hand and pat on to your face. Now i love it
I use the DRMTLGY 46 directly after my skincare but I also use and LOVE Saie Slip Tint. I have dry skin and live in one of the driest states in the union. The Slip Tint is beautiful on its own or under foundation. Thank you for these recommendations. I’ve had numerous skin cancers removed off my chest so I just bought the one you recommended for DNA repair. 😘
Thank you so much Penn! You have given me some new ones to check out. I'm loving the new background. The pink is beautiful and goes so well with you! You just glow! 😘♥️🙏
That’s so interesting with the Skinbetter Science one. I find it a bit too mattifying. I was taught to emulsify it in your hands and then press it into your skin. Not sure if application would make a difference or not.
I love the idea of tinted sunscreens but as a cool toned person I have a hard time finding something I like. I like the Isntree hyaluronic acid watery sun gel. Not tinted but no white cast.
Thank you so much for all the choices… currently have Thank You Farmer Sun Protection 30 and DRMTLGY Universal Tinted for face. I always bought recently SumBum Face Mist and Derma E Essentials. Love the DRMTLGY… I am thinking of trying Beauty of Joseon just have to make sure to buy from right place. I have their eye cream and eye moisture cream thanks to you..💞 Enjoy your journey in life and keep sharing… 🥰💞
Oooh I’ll have to try the Beauty of Joseon! My favorite has always been the Skinceuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50 or the UltraViolette Lean Screen SPF 50+ is a newer fav.
Hi. Hello there. Two of my favorite skin tints are ilia beauty and Supergoop! Glow screen. For a not so dewy appearance I’ll do elf Camo cc cream. As a moisturizer I’m currently using first aid beauty ultra repair cream. That’ll vary depending on the season. Loved your information vid. 🥳🤗👏🏼😁 Thank you so much. 🤍
Hi Penn! I’m at the beach right now and have been using the Kopari product (not the rose gold). It’s really fantastic! My skin is gorgeous on the beach and the smell is delicious! The product is a bit oily, but I love it! I think it was last year (or perhaps the year before) when you tried ISDIN. That one is my everyday go to sunscreen. I’m hooked on it! It feel luxurious on! I use the tinted version. I believe it has a technology that can help to reverse old sun damage. Thanks for another amazing video on sun protection!
I always lean into the K/J-beauty world for SPF, but i have recently tried Naturium's SPF and i do like it. In addition to the BOJ sunscreen, i noticed they have a new offering, the Ginseng Moist Sun Serum. Have you tried this one? It sounds like it would be gorgeous. Theres also a new stick one (collab with GlowByRamon!) And im really intrigued. Ive never tried a stick version before! ❤️❤️❤️
Great reviews, Penny 😊 For my oily skin with a darker skin tone, I find the Color Science Sunforgettable Face Shield Flex and the Mychelle sunscreens work pretty nicely. They can also double as foundations. I tend to favor all mineral types. ❤
Funny enough I’m wearing the Skinbetter right now and thought, “I love how this looks!” Right before seeing this 😂 I do live in a very dry climate and everyone’s skin is so different. I wanted to love the Alastin but it makes me feel so orange
It is crazy how different everyone is!! The Alastin is definitely on the “golden” side (being generous). I can’t wear it in the middle of winter that’s for sure! 💙
I love videos like this because I’m still on the hunt for my favorite sunscreen to wear under makeup. My skin is so dry that I really can’t tolerate any mineral sunscreens no matter what they combine them with. Because of that I have found a lot of European and Korean sunscreens that I like but don’t love because still by the end of the day my skin feels more dry then it would without it. Rn during the day I wear P 20 kids, but it certainly isn’t cosmetically, elegant. What it does do is give me total peace of mind because while I’m treating my melasma, I’ll choose total protection over elegance. Hopefully one day my skin won’t be as dry bc I can back off the actives and then try some of these because they look wonderful!
@@LisaNix2 I have tried that one but because it has zinc its just too drying after an hour or so unfortunately! Otherwise, I think it’s a fabulous formula (and definitely not too drying for most people!)
I am 66 with dry skin. I am liking the Dermtlgy sunscreens and the Beauty of Joseon. I want to try the Dr. Loretta sunscreen, but I can not justify spending that much on sunscreen.

Oh wow, I was just considering buying the Kosas sunscreen, so perfect timing for this video for me! Have you tried any of the Clearstem products? I would love to see you review them!
Hey Penny, awesome video, as always!! Have you ever tried Chanel CC Cream Correction Complete SPF 50? It's gorgeous! I apply it over my Drmltgy Universal Tinted Moisturizer SPF 46 and use it like a foundation with a beauty blender. I'm a bit lighter than you and use 30 beige. Just an FYI! I just adore you!! Thanks
I threw away the Alastin. The company would not take it back which was another negative. It was expensive and thick and heavy. Kind of like how you described the 1st miss. I guess I could use less and see if that makes it better, but then I wouldn't be getting the SPF on the label.
I love the skin, Medica tinted sunscreen. Is one of the few that don’t burn my eyes. I do enjoy the dermatology, but I use the tinted sunscreen as my foundation most days.
I love your first miss product. I feel like it works well under makeup almost like a primer. 🤷🏻♀️ and I’m pretty oily, however it is very expensive so I might try the second miss since you said it’s similar lol. I’m hoping it’s less expensive 😅
I purchased the new Coola dew good illuminating serum. I should have read ingredients more tightly. Packed with mica. I was looking for glossy glowy not mica shine. Would love a mildly glowy sunscreen to use daily. Just haven’t found or recognized one yet. I am back to the prem face/body slight white cast which I actually like and very lightweight texture lotion. 💕
I sometimes have a problem with sunscreens pilling. Any thoughts there? I can warn you about the worst sunscreen I've ever tried. It's UBeauty's Multimodal Defender. I just can't understand how anyone can use this product. It is a really THICK cream that comes in a jar. It is so thick I have trouble even spreading it on my face! And talk about a white cast! I love the other UBeauty products I have, but this is just awful. I even wondered if I got an old one that had dried up on the shelf, but it's actually a fairly recent release! Thanks for this great review of SPF's!
Have you tried Alleyoop’s 3 in 1 moisturizer?? I’m curious what you think of the ingredients. I got it with my order of the tinted sunscreen and am loving the moisturizer so far. Thank you for your recommendations!!!!!!
I know you said leave a review more so on the products you mentioned, but I wanted to share a new absolute love facial SPF.. because it has been a game changer for me! It's Saint Jane Beauty - Luxury Sun Ritual Poor Smoothing SPF 30. Plus it doesnt have niacinamide, which irritates my skin. 🤷♀️ anywho, a game changer for me, thought I'd share! Thank you for all your wonderful content and knowledge 😊🩷
@Nole Girl 100%, I'm an oily girl and live in humid TX, and it works beautifully. I don't use a moisturizer with it.. so dual purpose for us oily kind 🤌
I was wondering if you could analyze the product from Brandefy that is supposed to be a dupe for the Needleless serum. Is it an affordable peptide serum?
Great video, love trying different products!! Last summer I tried the Kopari and I hated it! I have very dry skin and I found it icky and heavy. I think I used it twice and tossed it. I’m always on the lookout for a good one for my arms they doesn’t feel heavy or have a scent. Any other recommendations are welcome! Thanks!
You are too nice! Actually, the opposite! I have been dissolving old filler for the last 6 months….and most recently (last month) I dissolved what was put over my lips+ any that may have migrated from the 2 times I did my lips. The last time was 2 years ago….but I never liked it. So this is really nice of you! That said, I do use liner to even them out etc so sometimes they look completely different (day to day) 💙
Oh, second question... Do you find the Kopari, with both Avobenzene and iron oxides stains your clothes? Avo turns things yellow, and well the tinted sunscreens lower than my face just ruin clothes for me. Thank you, again.
I would say I’m pretty oily and the two that have worked for me well have been PCA Skin’s sheer tint SPF 45 and Tizo3 primer sunscreen SPF 40. I have tried *a lot* - For me the Alastin sunscreen was just too orangey and way too greasy feeling for my oily skin. But I can really somebody with darker and dryer skin liking it.
Hi penny I absolutely love your content ❤ there is always so much to learn from your videos ! Can u make a video on usage on chemical n physical spfs in pregnancy because there is a lot of contradictory opinions from different sources ! Also if u can include your opinion on usage of salicylic acid 2 % peel once a week like in ordinary aha bha peeling solution during pregnancy thank u so much xoxo
In the meantime, Dr Dray has said in her pregnancy videos that chemical sunscreens are fine. But the most recent one who's used chemical sunscreens during her second pregnancy was Dr. Jenny Liu (she has an updated pregnancy video).
I’ve tried all of the DRTMLGY sunscreens and none of them work for me. They’re all greasy on my face. But I know a lot of people like them. So I find an influencer who likes something that works for me, then when something else is recommended by this influencer I’ll try it.
I put the Kopari on my arms and went to work. My desk was covered in a glossy oil, I was so embarrassed. It is beautiful on tan skin. Where is your shirt from? It’s so hard to find violet color in summer clothes.
Another fabulous video - the strategy I use to get sunscreen on my husband: walk up behind him and swipe it across is forehead. Then he has no CHOICE but to apply it all over ;)
Thanks penn, as it’s finally warm in PDX I’m lining up my body & face spfs. Just bought Cay skin ( California? ) nice face & body textures. Have u tried? Thx❤❤
In the meantime, some derms who've recommended their products are Dr. Sam Ellis, Dr. Jenny Liu, Dr Dray, Dr Alexis Stephens, Dr. Shereene Idriss, The Budget Dermatologist, etc.
Hi Penn, My fav is Zo Skin Health Sunscreen+Primer Spf 30. It is silky matte formula, slightly tinted and has a blurring effect. My skin looks very good and I don’t need foundation upper.. I have combo (normal +oily t zone) very sensitive and reactive skin and i didn’t experiment any negative reaction. The texture of this mineral sunscreen is so soft and apply like a dream, pores look smaller and people around me ask if I did something with my face. I’m interested in Alastin range (not the sunscreen) but is not available in Australia and where I found the brand they don’t ship to Australia. :(
@@trishee7625 ok so the Kopari face SPF is nice enough but….it has a little bit of a silicone feeling to it…kind of slippy. It’s not my favorite 😬 I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it.
I've been using Elta MD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum Spf46. I'm assuming you've reviewed it? I am curious what your thoughts are on it? Good or bad? Thank you!
I’m in the middle between light and medium skin tone and the Alastin tinted sunscreen was way too orange for my skin, I definitely got rid of it. I tired it 3 times and each time I looked like I was wearing orange color on my face.
Hi Penny, What recommendations do you have for water-resistant sunscreens I can wear with my swim goggles (tinted ones yuck them up)? It is summer, so with hiking and swimming, I am looking more for water- sweat-resistant ones. Thank you!
For anyone who is really active outdoors I would say check out Eve Sunscreens, the only problem is they are hard to get in the US and you have to order it in bulk- it's worth it though! I stock up on it every summer and use it on the whole family during camping and boating 😊
I think it’s beautiful- I didn’t notice it in any lines and I applied a generous amount. It’s glowy but not shiny and it dries down but doesn’t get DRY. It’s like a less-dewy version of the Ilia skin tint serum 😁
I've revisited most of your videos and I can't find what I thought you had reviewed - a sunscreen (Korean?) that provides 12+ hours of protection. Maybe I'm totally off base, and it wasn't you that talked about this product?? I sure wish I could find it bc a long lasting sunscreen would be fabulous for travel!
Mystery solved! It was Claudia from Claudia Glows who reviewed it and it's called Aptosol SPF50, and is a Korean sunscreen. Sorry for the mixup! :) BTW, I do love DRMTLGY!
I literally do this all the time and have to rack my brain to figure out where I watched or heard something 😂 sidenote- I will have to look into that sunscreen!
Hi Tamara, Nice to see you’re following Penn too ! ☺️
@@debbiewalker273 we love Penny! ❤️

I'd love to see a follow-up video on the DNA repair enzyme products you like and how they have worked for you! Will be ordering the Neova Silc Sheer soon!
I’ve tried so many and my current favorite is color science SPF, 50 in the shade glow.
I love your videos, so detailed and organized. What are you wearing in this video, it’s beautiful. Waiting for Neova .
Great video, thanks Penn. I'm an oily skinned 62 yo and the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen works perfectly for me. I put it right in top of my serums, let it set while I do my eye makeup, then apply my foundation. Really lovely product.
Stylevana usually has Beauty of Joseon in a double pack but it takes a month to get so prepare for that.
I’ve been using Susan Yara’s Naturium sunscreen and I love it. It feels beautiful on. Wears well under makeup. ❤
Oh yes!! That’s a really good one too!
Thank you Penny for the great deep-dive into sunscreens. It was very helpful!
I will have to look into that one, thanks for the recommendation!
Love Korean sunscreen they are so far in advance than the US.
Thanks for sharing Iris. I am looking for a very hydrating, thin spf for layering under other products. I ordered it from Amazon and look forward to trying it.
I use this sunscreen as well. Very nice. No burning eyes.
Well the good news is it’s a great sunscreen! It just didn’t look good on *my* skin. I’m so glad you love it! That’s what counts 😁😁
Oh I’m ready for this video!! ☀️🙌🏼🙌🏼 Penny looking lovely as always!!
I like Colorscience Flex and Glow (SPF 50). I also like La Roche Posay Anthelios Tinted Face Sunscreen (SPF 50}.
Love the BoJ sunscreen, wear it daily. It’s moisturizing and invisible on. Perfect!
I love Elta MD UV Elements tinted sunscreen I use it as my foundation!😊
Love Neova. Gorgeous and mellows redness in skin.
You look more gorgeous in every video!
Love the new background as well
Btw, is that an Oura ring you are wearing? My husband just got me one for our anniversary and so far I am loving it
Ok, watching now 😊
Yes, it is the Oura ring. Tell your hubby good job! What a great gift! ❤️
Such a great observation. I’m in the desert right now (in Oregon) and probably should have tested it here! ♥️
Now i love it
Yes! I made this exact mistake too. Now I really like it! I’m glad we both figured it out!
So scary . Are you in the clear now ?? I hope so !
I am so glad you were able to have them removed and I hope that is all is good going forward! ❤️
Thank you for all your research. Love your top! It’s a great color on you.
Hi penny , wow I’m so happy, that you are sharing your experience and knowledge with all the wonderful products. Outstanding once again xx
Thank you so much Penn! You have given me some new ones to check out. I'm loving the new background. The pink is beautiful and goes so well with you! You just glow! 😘♥️🙏
Thank you 🥰
My favorite SPF’s are the Canmake mermaid skin gel, the Beauty of Joseon, and the Purito daily soft touch, none of these are greasy or shiny.
Same here. All the tinted spf is orange and heavy on me. I love the watery sun gel.
It leaves little dried specks on me. If it didn’t do that I would have liked it more .
I have their eye cream and eye moisture cream thanks to you..💞
Enjoy your journey in life and keep sharing… 🥰💞
The SunBum face mist and DermaE are both great too!
Thank you so much. 🤍
Informational*
I love the Ilia!!
I need to try the ELF…they have a new (ish) foundation that looks good too!
The ISDN is an excellent choice! It has DNA repair enzymes (like the Neova) 😁
Great video penny, I love the Ulta MD 44
I really like Isdin tinted and non tinted. I like the matte finish and the DNA repairing.
Yes! Isidin is great too!
I use Elta MD Elements- you may really like it for your dry skin.
@@LisaNix2 I have tried that one but because it has zinc its just too drying after an hour or so unfortunately! Otherwise, I think it’s a fabulous formula (and definitely not too drying for most people!)
I’m a cinnamon colored beauty and I have been using house of Josan sunscreen. I ❤ it. Tfs
I am 66 with dry skin. I am liking the Dermtlgy sunscreens and the Beauty of Joseon. I want to try the Dr. Loretta sunscreen, but I can not justify spending that much on sunscreen.
No need to spend a lot of $$$ when you get great things that are affordable!

Thanks
Thank you so much for your sweet comments! If I have tried the Chanel then it was along time ago, sounds like I need to try it again!
It takes so long for sunscreen to dry down on my face, so right now, my favorite is the Colorscience.
hello Penny! interesting topic as always! I think Heliocare has also a sunscreen with dna repair enzymes... have you checked it out?
Long ago I tried Heliocare and loved a couple of their options. I need to re-order! Thank you for the reminder!
I use Isdin with DNA repair- I love it! It has fragrance but it goes away 8n a few moments
I threw away the Alastin. The company would not take it back which was another negative. It was expensive and thick and heavy. Kind of like how you described the 1st miss. I guess I could use less and see if that makes it better, but then I wouldn't be getting the SPF on the label.
Thank you so so much for this info!💕
Does it pill , ball up , leave tiny specks , or a white cast ?
Do you think it would work for oily skin?
@Nole Girl 100%, I'm an oily girl and live in humid TX, and it works beautifully. I don't use a moisturizer with it.. so dual purpose for us oily kind 🤌
@@lexd3517 ….?
@@lexd3517 thank you so much for the reply!
I love your too! Where did you get it?
I LOVE your shirt :) and your videos as well :)
Thank you 🥰
Have you checked out sunscreen sticks? Beauty of Joseon has one. Oh, and spf lip balms. I'm currently using the black girl sunscreen kids spf 50.
The BOJ stick was supposed to be in this video 🫤
I don’t know what happened!! I love it so much and wanted to shout out Ramon dang it!!
I was wondering if you could analyze the product from Brandefy that is supposed to be a dupe for the Needleless serum. Is it an affordable peptide serum?
stylekorean almost always has the beauty of josean sunscreen. Last week I saw buy 1 get 1 free 😀
I really like Neova as well. But since it goes on last, do the DNA benefits reach our skin?
Great video, love trying different products!!
Last summer I tried the Kopari and I hated it! I have very dry skin and I found it icky and heavy. I think I used it twice and tossed it. I’m always on the lookout for a good one for my arms they doesn’t feel heavy or have a scent. Any other recommendations are welcome! Thanks!
Coco and eve just launched a body SPF that is light and silky- check that one out! 💙
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE thanks, I will. I live in the south and wear short sleeves most of the time so my arms get way too much sun!
You look amazing, by the way! Did you recently get your lips done or are you using a new gloss? They’re perfection.
That said, I do use liner to even them out etc so sometimes they look completely different (day to day) 💙
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE well they are literal perfection. Too bad for me it’s not something I can copy :-(
Oh, second question... Do you find the Kopari, with both Avobenzene and iron oxides stains your clothes? Avo turns things yellow, and well the tinted sunscreens lower than my face just ruin clothes for me. Thank you, again.
I just bought the kosas sunscreen and love it. I don’t find that it’s shimmery at all on my skin and I have combo skin :)
😊 So happy that it works for you! It has so many great reviews so I am sure there will be a lot of people who love it!
Does the beauty of Joseon spf burn your eyes? Thanks
I love Dear Klair’s.
So funny, the Alastin is a touch dry on me (lol!!)
I do get the orange part though. It’s a summertime/self tan time type of SPF for me 💙
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE oh gosh haha! Even with a powder on top I just felt like a grease ball
What happened to Ilia????? You loved that one!! (?)
Still do!
I can't wear any of the mineral sunscreens. I would love to find a tinted SPF that would work for my skin tone.
Hi Penny, If I didn't know how old you were and had to guess your age, I would say 30's. You look incredible!
Thank you Denise 🥰
Same! They all just sit on my skin and never dries. Have you found a good sunscreen ?
It is the same for me, just never drys and so shiny.
@@MISSYMINX261 I like Colorscience Flex
I put the Kopari on my arms and went to work. My desk was covered in a glossy oil, I was so embarrassed. It is beautiful on tan skin. Where is your shirt from? It’s so hard to find violet color in summer clothes.
Is the neova like the Isdin then? Same technology?
Another fabulous video - the strategy I use to get sunscreen on my husband: walk up behind him and swipe it across is forehead. Then he has no CHOICE but to apply it all over ;)
Hahaha!!! I love this!
Thanks penn, as it’s finally warm in PDX I’m lining up my body & face spfs. Just bought Cay skin ( California? ) nice face & body textures. Have u tried? Thx❤❤
Yes, I tried the CaySkin last year and I really like it.
Curious your thoughts on Colorscience!
In the meantime, some derms who've recommended their products are Dr. Sam Ellis, Dr. Jenny Liu, Dr Dray, Dr Alexis Stephens, Dr. Shereene Idriss, The Budget Dermatologist, etc.
I think they have great products, unfortunately some of the tones in their sunscreens just don't work for me.
In my experience, it is not very protective (when used in adequate amount).
Hi Penn,
My fav is Zo Skin Health Sunscreen+Primer Spf 30.
Great video! Love the DRMTLGY sunscreens, and love the Kopari! Have you tried the Kopari for the face yet? Would love to hear your review if you have.
I actually just got it but I haven't tried it yet.
Hoping you
Hoping you review it because I’m pretty much in agreement and on board with your reviews/suggestions.
@@trishee7625 ok so the Kopari face SPF is nice enough but….it has a little bit of a silicone feeling to it…kind of slippy. It’s not my favorite 😬
I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it.
Thank you so much! I’ll stick to their body SPF’s and my beloved DRTMLGY! I am so glad you got back to me, because I was going to order it.
I love skinbetter please send me your spf if you aren’t using it lol! So expensive but worth it. Please review more from brand
I've been using Elta MD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum Spf46. I'm assuming you've reviewed it? I am curious what your thoughts are on it? Good or bad? Thank you!
HI Penny thank you for this video ,I have a ?do I put sunscreen on first or the mist spray face tan on first I'm still learning Thank you so much.
Yes! I put it on right after cleansing then continue on with my regular skincare and sunscreen skincare. 😊
I’m in the middle between light and medium skin tone and the Alastin tinted sunscreen was way too orange for my skin, I definitely got rid of it. I tired it 3 times and each time I looked like I was wearing orange color on my face.
Yes it’s definitely a solid medium skin tone color!!
Nice video! What spf do you use for your body before your Kopari spf?
I like Aveeno SPF 60 and recently I bought and really like the Coco+Eve body SPF.
😊
Wondering what the Alleyoop would look like on mature skin ?
I think it’s beautiful- I didn’t notice it in any lines and I applied a generous amount.
It’s glowy but not shiny and it dries down but doesn’t get DRY. It’s like a less-dewy version of the Ilia skin tint serum 😁
Thx much !
I just ordered the dream beam. Now I’m nervous 😂
OHHH, please come back and update me once you have tried it! It has a lot of really great reviews, just doesn't work for me.
Thanks!! ❤
You're welcome 😊
