Impressive performance! Thanks for breaking down all of your tests on this one. I love the new LFP battery, HUGE solar input and high DC output. You can tell they put a lot of thought into what people are looking for right now.

I just wanted to stop by and say that I really like your channel. Thank you for providing all the necessary information, in a way that’s easy to understand, also with a nice soothing voice, which is a bonus 😂. Thank you Todd!

Nice rugged unit. Ill admit i see other power stations used outdoors in high moisture and dust and they will fail. Which this is a option for someone who is a little rougher on their stuff lol

    Great review!
@03:49, Actually, the 12v car port (cigarette) is rated at 15A, not 10A like everyone else. This is huge for the OTR Industry. To see why, just look at the 12v appliance aisle at the larger truck stops. Most appliances are over 10A draw.
I am guessing that this would affect the Marine industry also, plus, they would really benefit from the incredible sealing that this unit has.

This looks really nice. The only other thing that I would say is a con is the lack of a power shut off for the dc side. Hope they address that too.
Thank you for sharing with us.

It's interesting given your comments that this pulls way ahead of Bluetti and Ecoflow, that everyone buys those just because everyone else did .
These Monteks are deffinately the thinking man's choice 👍

I have the montek 1000 and really like it. The briefcase design is nice. I wish with this new unit, the expansion battery would nest on top of the main unit so that it locks in better. Like stackable chairs

Nice review, I am glad Jason suggested it to view. Options are always great and this definitely fits a niche. I went to the site to see about the split phase hub, and as of 4-5-2024, they are not showing it as available. That is concerning, so I will probably wait until it officially launches.
    Thanks for the hard work!

Great review of an interesting product. I think the MPPT solar charger at 150 volts is really nice. I like its rugged, “prepared” look. I have use the EcoFlow Delta 2 for camping and worry about running it inside my tow vehicle to cool a fridge because of heat buildup inside the vehicle. I wonder what the operating temps are for the Montek. I am risk adverse with regard to pre-pay, indigo style purchases and I often wait to see what users experience over time. Todd you do a great job and I appreciate your testing and “to-the-point” communication. Happy Holidays.

Thanks! I really like this unit, especially the solar. I was just testing panels in the yard this week and this way rugged and could handle rooftop panel voltage

The features of this unit are just AWESOME.
I'm just a bit concerned about the LONGEVITY of LFP pouch batteries Vs the much more robust and proven cylindrical format cells.
If you look at drill batteries for example. The failure rate of the new high capacity pouch packs seems to be astronomical compared to the old 18650 packs.
Does anyone else have experiences or comments ?

It's hard to say without knowing how much power they draw. My hunch is yes but I know those can pull a lot of power so it may not run for more than an hour

Not all of them but you can squeeze the power cable inside for sure.
