I personally headcannon that this high school teacher is talking to the same student each time and that student grows up to be a college professor and does everything he can to not be like him.

Only realized recently college professors don’t do final exams because they don’t want to have the burden of holding onto them for years in case someone comes back to challenge it. Been in college 3 years and have only had 1 cumulative final
I heard some professors also let you be on your phone as long as it's on silent. I also heard that some professors end the lesson 20-30 minutes early sometimes. Was this true
@@TheAbyssUpdate always depended on the day, but some classes were dismissed early. As for phones, I have not found one class where being in my phone was an issue.
Really depends on the college and the subjects. I took science, math, etc. and they all had final exams. All my humanities classes had either exams or final papers as well. About 50/50 if they were cumulative or simply the last test of the year.
Just started uni in September. I never had hs teachers like this, but some of my profs are similar to this. We had a class (75 minutes) where we were supposed to discuss two sections of Eusebius. We spent 65 on one part and covered the second in 10 minutes. He’s a great prof though and really loves the material
8:08 I had that exact same situation with my international marketing professor so I emailed him and asked if there was an extra credit assignment I could do. He emailed me back and said he would just round it up and to enjoy my summer. I was so happy

Teacher: “(insert name here) I’m sorry your grandma passed away but couldn’t of she waited till the weekend?!?” Me: “Couldn’t of your divorce waited till the weekend”
I’m currently procrastinating on a lit final (writing a speech by midnight tonight, give it next week), and I have a LOT of other finals to prepare for over the weekend. The college bits really, REALLY seem too good to be true, I’m beyond worried about how I’ll do in two years.
Had a migraine during a physics final. Prof let me step outside for a while to see if it would subside but when it wasn't going away he said to come finish it the next day. Next day he told me I'd gotten about half done the previous day so if I wanted to just double whatever I scored for that half we could not bother with the rest. When they can tell you're not messing around I found most profs will work with you.
7:15 My English class did a similar thing. But the topic was about (I think) self confidence and instead of kpop in general, it was a Beyonce music video. Can't remember the specific details since this was a semester and a half ago and ALOT of things happend inbetween.
I actually read the rest of Huck Finn during Christmas break. I wasn’t a fan that much of the book, but I was the only person who read the book over the break. Why did I suffer like that? 😢😢😢
This only applies to some degrees but if you take engineering classes there will be: cumulative exams, tiredness in ALL eyes, and MUCH more suck it up than this shows. Though honestly, my gen ed teachers did not give a f*ck most of the time.
5:27 I had that actually happen to me, basically, I put Mr.Idiot in my essay and my teacher said that isn't professional, which ended up denying me an A and I got a B+
Considering this high school teachers seem like they really don't care about you and only care about useless information you only use if you go down certain career paths, collage professors seem really chill and like they care.
As for why it’s called the hippocampus? It comes from someone who likened it to a seahorse. Seahorses are in the genus hippocampus so that’s where the name comes from
are colledge teachers actually nicer and mores understanding than high school teachers? can anyone confirm? or give me a reason, cause im going to highschool next year and i am so not ready :p :c
Typically, they are. For 1, you and the professor are both adults and thus you now have a position of power, the authority to leave or complain if they're unnecessarily rude, harsh, or ineffective. For 2, you're paying for college, thus it's your problem if you slack, whereas in highschool, if you decide to slack, it's your teachers' problem. Number 3, college professors are paid more and less stressed.
I personally headcannon that this high school teacher is talking to the same student each time and that student grows up to be a college professor and does everything he can to not be like him.
I know that there is a different name each time, but it seems like a pretty cool story.
@@yourlocalanarchylovingcatguy in the last part a couple of times he talks to the same student.

College sounds like the dream 😂
I doubt it is, but I like how Scott frenzel plays it
Right
It’s not really the dream, my brother is in college and he always complains bout how strict they are. Trust me it’s tough
@@ducksforlife haha Ik my brothers also in college, but the way Scott makes it sounds, it sounds pretty good
But sadly, it's not... and most professors are chill a Lil bit strict tho

I’m laughing so hard because both of these are so accurate. The college ones are literally verbatim things I heard while I was in college.

STEM are the only real jobs.
