THIS is what I'd think of for Disney hotel theming. Seeing reviews of different rooms lately, most of them have been barely anything that makes me think I'm immersed in Disney. Maybe nice or above average for the general grounds, but the room itself doesn't make me think I'm at Disney. THIS does.
This is how you do theming at a Disney Hotel properly, not just stickers.
Just stunned by the excellent theming in that room.
Wainscoting is the word you wanted. Super cute room. Loved the footprint carpeting.

The room looks fabulous I wish the new resorts here had more theming.
Considering my son is OBSESSED with Toy Story.... THIS is a hotel I would throw down some serious cash to stay at! Man! Why aren't they doing remodels like this here in the states?! Instead we are getting boring generic feeling rooms that make me feel like I'm on a business trip not a family trip to Disney World!
Because every decision Disney makes these days is "by committee" and the committee says people like minimalist and white, and ONLY minimalist and white.
They are supposed to be remodeling Paradise Pier at CA to Toy Story. How much theming they'll actually do, who knows. You may still get more for your money in Japan anyway Disney-wise!

Love the tour! Thank you! One question tho- is there no place to unpack your clothes and put them away? When we stayed at Miracosta and The Disneyland Hotel there were def plenty of drawer space to put our clothes in, as well as a closet to hang things!

I was just thinking today that it would be great if households with several people and only one bathroom had a separate space for the toilet and shower. They took it up a notch.

The thing in the shower you didn't know about is a metal string that pulls out and attaches to the opposite wall. You can hang wet clothes on it too dry out. It's common in hotels all around the world.
Looks great, thanks for the tour Spencer. Hopefully I'll be able to visit and try it one day. I usually stay at the Hilton, but it would be great to stay there.
I have stayed at Art of Animation, but this blows away ANY Disney room!

I wish Disney would not ruin Poly and Grand Floridian.. The rooms at the other resorts they have stripped away the charm and magic and made them generic and sterile including the lobby’s especially Poly , old key west and contemporary😞

Amazing resort! It is kind of sad, though, that the Oriental Land Company often does a better job than the Walt Disney Company at theming, merchandise, entertainment and food. It makes me wonder why the discrepancy? Is the Walt Disney Company just being cheap?
