We think it’s safe to say that we’ve all gone through a phase in life where we weren't into eating fruits and vegetables. Looking back, we can definitely remember a time when broccoli and asparagus had a pretty bitter, and slimy feel to them. It wasn’t uncommon to just push them off of our plate and onto the floor so that the family dog could wolf them down. And we’d be able to get ice cream as a reward for completely finishing dinner! But here’s the thing, what would happen if you just STUCK with that gut instinct? And NEVER ate your fruits and vegetables? Sure, we’ve heard an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but, why is this? Does it really keep the doctor away? What are the side effects of a diet without you fruits and veggies? Are there really that many pluses if you DO eat them? And what do specific fruits and vegetables help with anyways? Does a banana help in the same way a piece of broccoli does? Well, today we are finding out, Brainiacs. We are talking all there is to know about everyone’s favorite healthy snack. From the science behind it, to some rather terrifying statistics if you DON’T eat your fruits and veggies. It’s time to get healthy, and eat a fully balanced diet, because today we are tackling one of the larger groups of the food pyramid, fruits and vegetables, and why they are so important to eat on a daily basis. - Кино

I wish i could eat vegetables and like them. For this reason i have never eaten vegetables. The only fruits i have ever eat are apples, grapes, bananas and watermelon but watermelon it isn't my favourite. I wish i could eat less meat and i was a vegeterian because i believe that eating meat all of time is harmful about our planet, but it is only personally belief. I am a teen and i begin to see what problems my eating lifestyle has made but I will try better to future to eat vegetables and fruits more. Wish me good luck. I wish you too, to anything you want! The reason why most people get problems by eating vegetables, its cause vegetables has a lot of fibers so it takes longer for digestive system to process the fiber, but its different in everyone...TBC...

Thank God I didn’t get any problem from not really eating veggies, fruits, skipping meals in the past. I did it for a long time in the past. I was told it was not good for you, but did not realize these reasons were the reasons why it is not good for you. Even though I am a picky eater, but now I am used to eating and can’t skip meals, can’t skip snacks, I am used to also having a fruit or vegetable sometimes. I have a nutritional drink too. I am sad I will stay healthy weight now, Not underweight anymore, but at least I am healthy now.

I rarely eat vegetables. But I try to eat a lot of fruit. But when there is watermelon, I eat like 30+ pieces of watermelon. I think that’s why I don’t need vegetables, it’s because I eat plenty of, FRUIT.

havent had a Vegetable or fruit in 30+ years or so ,, I'm currently 46 no problems here...I rarely get sick.. keep active, stay healthy and safe and i was never breast feed ... beFore the 30+ years I don't even remember the last fruit or vegetable I had , grain and meat With the occasional nut
its really not hard. There are many kinds find the one you like and go nuts. My personal favorites are oranges and broccoli. The more of them I eat the more of them I want.

It's called working out and staying active... I haven't touched a vegetable or fruit in 30 something years I'm currently 46 never had any problems I rarely get sick. I think the last time I got sick was with food poisoning 15 years ago..after eating pizza hutt , and 10 years before that I was sick another time from eating pizza hutt ...So yeah never eat pizza hutt.. seriously

I'm kinda picky so I don't like most fruits and veggies. I usually make something (like meatballs) and put some greens (like spinach and apples in them.) Not a bunch (so I can't really tell it is there) but it has served me well. So to those out there who are picky (like myself), try finding some recipes that can allow you to work around it. I can thank my mom for a lot of them.

why should i even bother! i just eat meat. i dont eat vegetables and i have perfect health. lots of other peopIe see health improvements after eliminating vegetables from their diet. to those who dont like vegetables, its fine to avoid them. there are no essential nutrients we absolutely have to get from vegetables that we cannot get at all from meat.

Never had any of these problems and I haven’t eaten fruit or veg since I was 4. I’m now 50 and never get ill. My doc says my health is excellent.
for fiber, i mostly eat high fiber wraps and/or fiber bran cereal where you get 18g per 90 calorie serving or wraps where there is 12-15g of fiber and for vitimins, i eat spinich and fairlife fatfree milk

You should do a video of what would happen if you ate more than the recomended 35% of fruits and and vegetables. What would happen if you changed that 35% to 95% of the diet was just fruits and vegetables? I love fuits and vegetables. My favorite fruit is berries and my favorite vegetable is corn.

I have a daughter who has autism and she is picky. I do know she likes oatmeal though. So I cut up blueberries small, and put them in the oatmeal. She eats it right up. I also make rice teriyaki stir fry. And I cut up broccoli a bit small, and add it fresh towards the end of the stir fry being cooked. And just very lightly cook it. She eats it right up. Thats the only way I get fruit and veggies in her.
What about canned goods like green beans, frozen corn, collards, turnips? Multivitamins?

You may not like it when your parents make you eat vegetables as a kid but when your an adult you will be glad your parents did it. I’m 15 almost 16 and I wish my parents would have made me do it
i love fruit (well everything except for plumbs and prunes) and although i never used to like veg as a kid now i love them, the only vegetables i don't like too much are broccoli and cabbage.
I almost never eat fruits and vegetables, I see the benefits but some reason my brain rejects them and my mom understands this and cooks up alot of chicken and rice. Other than my terrible stamina I don't see anything out of the ordinary with myself seeing I've been this way since childhood (I'm 16 turning 17 this year) last time I checked before quarantine I weigh 50kg and around 170 centimetres tall (no less). My digestion isn't the greatest seeing how people almost poop everyday while I do it once every few days and I wear glasses too. I'm thinking to get over my childhood fears and start eating them soon but I'm looking forward to find out what significant change would happen when I start eating and getting used to those health packets.
Dude, those "terrible stamina" in itself it something out of the ordinary. It is not normal for a teenager your age to have a bmi of anything less than 18 and have bad stamina. Also, going every few days is also an issue, your digestive system isn't functioning normally if it doesn't flush out the food you eat every day. If you start eating those vegetables and fruits, I promise you, your stamina will skyrocket due to your digestion itself being able to function optimally. Also, stick to it, you won't see the obvious benefits immediately after eating vegetables and fruits, given the fact that you've been avoiding them for a long time. Well, I know it's a ramble but I honestly just want to help people when I can. I wish you good luck my guy!

I am this person, I’m 19 and I just don’t eat fruits or vegetables idk what it is but I could never bring myself to eat them. I’ve tried a few through my life but they just aren’t at all apart of my everyday diet
I was you a year ago. Age and everything. I took it slowerly and found vegetables i enjoyed and will now eat any vegetable. But fruits are still an issue for me. I find mixing fruits in pancakes makes it easier
men this video is being influenced by the food pyramid when every evolutionary biologist or nutritionist will tell you that the pyramid is a scam. carbs are the most unhealthy portion of the pyrmid right with refined sugars. vegetables are good if eaten raw or boiled in WATER. vegetable oil, any kind of it is just asking for cancer and heart disease. onions and garlic its already the basis for a mental illness. the foundation to a healthy diet is meat, and animal organs thats what you need not blend vegetables with bitter taste. fruit is not bad but they are carbs too.

I'm never skipping on veggies from now on to keep me and my mom and foodie happy.
One nice trick most of us "meat eaters" use to get our daily fruits and veggies, is never cook the veggies. Keep them clean, raw, and crunchy. I almost never touch cooked veggies because the texture disgusts me, and they're gross :). Give me a plate of crunchy carrots/broccoli/whatever, maybe some ranch on the side, I'll eat that s**t like it's potato chips. It was a really long time ago when I looked this up, but the "crunch" factor is actually very important to your brain's enjoyment (i just don't remember why). It's also the main reason for the introduction of croutons in salads.
Lots of people legit like the taste, so more power to them. For the rest of us who typically avoid greens, trust the crunch.

So like , i didnt ate fruits and vegetables at all in my life and the results can be seen , im 14 years old and i allready need glasses , no , i didnt needed them before , a few months ago i bought them cuz my vision started to get foggy , my lips are always and i repeat , always dehydrated and cracked , also i can barely run a few meters whitout dying of exthausion and my hearth, oh boi , my hearth , sometimes feel like it suddely stops , like , once a month , i can barely go trough school cuz i cant concentrate and never could learn A THING cuz my memory is f-ed up

Eat some bananas. They taste good. Drink some juices and shakes. They are tasty. Also not taking a breath and moving your tongue to the side will help you with taste

This isn't completley right. I bodybuild, my diet is 90% red meat, my energy is high, immune system is well and my cholesterol is normal. My waist is also size 29. There are also people who argue that red meat keeps testosterone up. Not saying everything they said in this video is wrong but do your own research and experiment, not everyone is built the same.
I haven’t had any fruits or vegetables in 22 years. The only exception is French fries and tomato sauce in pizza. I have none of the consequences or symptoms stated in this video. Maybe some lack of energy but not really any less then other people
